Jeremy's POV

"Yes I am Sunny, but Mr. Hanson owns "Sunny" and her songs. He owns Sunny so he owns me."

My heart sank when I heard how defeated she sounded. "Sarah," I reached over and grabbed her hands making her look at me. "He does not own you."

"He actually does," she laughed bitterly, looking at her Lost Boy sheet music. "He owns my songs and my name. Therefore he owns me."

I couldn't help but get upset. I gently grabbed her chin, forcing her to look at me. "He does not own you, Sarah." I said harsher than I probably should have. I reached up and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear, my hand lingering on her cheek. "You should be able to write whatever the hell you want. It's your music, your name, your career."

"Damn. Call me the Wizard of Oz, I just gave the TinMan a heart." Her comment made us both laugh.

"Shut up," I said gently nudging her shoulder with mine. My heart stopped when I saw the smile return to her lips as she threw her head back in laughter.

When she stopped laughing, she looked at me, waiting for me to say something. Instead, I just stared at her. I nonchalantly looked down at her lips. I quickly looked away, hoping she didn't catch that glance.

**********

As I walked down the street, I couldn't get Sarah's voice out of my head. I smiled to myself as I thought about the song she showed me. I couldn't help but feel honored that she showed it to me and no one else.

Before our little fake relationship started, I always thought Sarah, or Sunny, was talented. I've heard her songs being played on the radio and on set multiple times and have always found myself nodding along. Now that I have actually met her, I understood why she was the top selling artist.

Her songs were catchy, in the good way not that annoying way. Her music videos were always fun and entertaining. Her fans adore her. She's smart, she's funny, she's beautiful. . .

I froze in the middle of the street. Why would I point that out? I mean she is attractive but. . . Wait, am I actually starting to like Sarah Walters?

Oh shit.
