At one point everything was about you.
Every line in my poetry.
Every word in it’s broken beautifulness.
It was all for you.
But you never knew.
I tell myself that these lines I write now are a goodbye.
But deep down I know they will always be for you.
Every comma, every full stop.
It’s all for you.
