My name is Michelle, but my nickname is Pooh. Childish right? I know, but my mother named me that before she died, so it kind of just stuck with me.
But enough of my sob story,
Im 19 years old and you could say I'm well known around the streets because of my pops being a big time drug-dealer and my brothers running the streets with their gang activity, there's eastside and then there's westside. We're the westside, my brothers run this side, you dont wanna cross them the wrong way.
Pops never wanted that life for us though, but eventually my brothers got involved. Me on the other half made a promise to my mom I wouldn't get involved in that type of lifestyle .
King is my twin brother. Elijah, known as EJ is the oldest brother he's twenty-six. Then there's Traquan known as Trap, who's twenty-one. Chres is twenty-three, Jay, one of the youngest is sixteen, then there's Marco, the youngest at fourteen.

It was a pretty day outside & I had nothing to do I hated when that happened, I grabbed my phone going straight to facebook to see what the move was for the day. When I logged on I saw that everybody was talking about going to the park later for a big cook-out. I had nothing better to do so you knew I was down for a little action.
I walked downstairs to my brother Elijah's room to ask him if wanted to take me and of course he agreed. My brother Elijah spoils me because I'm his only sister and he feels the need to always be there for me, we had a special brother and sister type bond.
The cook-out was at 6 o'clock meaning I only had 3 hours to get ready. I needed all the time I could get. I hurried to the shower, undressed and got in.
45 minutes later once I got out of the shower I grabbed my robe and slipped it on and began to look for my outfit until I heard someone coming in the door. I shifted my weight to my life foot rolling my eyes after noticing it was King.
"Dang you too good to knock ?" I said a little irritated.
"My bad twin , you must be going somewhere?"
He laughed causing me to roll my eyes again. "Yea, me and Elijah going to that cookout later".
I had a feeling he was going to wanna go, and knowing my brother he couldn't hold water even if his life depended on it. Meaning we would be deep in the car with everyone going.
"Oh so yall wasnt gonna tell nobody" he said while shaking his head. "I just did".
"Can I go?" He begged poking his bottom lip out. I chuckled. "You mean we? Yall can go it doesn't matter"
King smiled widely and hugged me before leaving my room, Im guessing who was going to spread the news. Once the door shut I continued my search for an outfit to wear. Once I found the perfect outfit, I layed it out and started on my hair and makeup. I flattened my hair making it all pretty and perfect.
Once I was done fixing up I put my outfit on and went downstairs. It seemed as if everyone was already ready to go and I was being waited on. Pops was already at the cookout since he had volunteered to cook on the grill so Im guess we'd be seeing him there.
We all piled in the car before Elijah pulled off. Within 15 minutes we were there. It was hella deep. I stepped out of the car to the fresh smell of crawfish, hot sausage and gumbo hitting me in the face. Once I came back to my senses I noticed all eyes were on us , I was used to that though being that our family is well known around here, so it didn't bother me at all.
My youngest brother Marco saw some of his friends from school playing football, he went over to play with them after letting us know he would be seeing us later. Trap,Chres and Jay went to find some females to mess with, we all knew what that would be leading too, all the females were in love with my brothers, I dont know why. But they were. But anyways, Elijah went to go smoke with some of his boys he usually hangs with leaving just me and my twin King.
"Why you so lonely Pooh" he said looking at me with a smirk on his face.
"And yet your not with nobody either , I see" I said playfully while pushing him over. "Shid .. " he said lighting a blunt before continuing "these hoes aint loyal".
"and neither are these niggas"
He chuckled "Whatever you say lil ugly" I pushed him again for the second time. "Boy I am not ugly, did you forget we're twins?!"
We both started laughing hysterically, once I controlled my laughter I noticed this light skinned guy with tats walking up to my brother, and boy I am not gonna lie he is fineeee, I brought my attention to the girl he had on his side and frowned. She looked so ratchet she basically had on a bra and a diaper if you asked me, but thats not my business.

August P.O.V
The cook-out deep as hell, should've known that though being that its free food and hella black folks. I was walking around with my girl Shani (Shah-Nee) when I came across my nigga King with this bad ass female. I approached him giving him pound when Shani grabbed my hand tightly as if she was protecting me or some shit.
"Wassup lil nigga" I said dapping up King. "Nothing much Aug, whatchu been up to"
"Chillin, oh this my girl Shani, Shani meet King, King meet Shani."
Shani smirked at King and held out her hand for him to shake it. I gave her a quick glare causing her to stop allat cheesing. I keep lil shawty in check.
"Hey King" she said.
"Sup"
King wasnt even lookin at Shani, he spoke dryly to her letting her know off bat that he wouldn't be interesting.
"Who is lil shawty right there?" I asked growing curious of who the mystery beauty was.
She smiled softly before finally speaking up. "Im Michelle, but nobody calls me that, call me Pooh"
"Well hello here miss Pooh". I said while smiling at her, she was so gorgeous. I couldnt find not one flaw.
Just as I was losing myself staring at Pooh, Shani hugged up on my side while smirking at Pooh. Pooh chuckled while rolling her eyes as if she was amused by the little situation. I'm guessing it pissed Shani off because she caught a quick attitude getting ready to pop off.
"Problem bitch?" Shani said while looking Pooh up and down.
"No bitch." Pooh said in reply mocking Shani causing me and King to laugh before King decided to be a big boy and speak up.
"Aye yall chill"
"Forreal , Shani whats ya problem?" I said looking at her in disgust. "Nothing babe she just looked like she had a problem I was just being curious" she said while giggling like she thought something was cute.
"I dont create problems with dusty hoes ."
"Bitch, I'll show you some dust."
I couldn't help but to laugh, Shani obviously felt threatened by Pooh but ion blame her, she's bad as hell. And I like her style.
"Shani go fix me a plate please baby" I said trying to get her to go away.
"Really? Your legs dont work or something?
I glared at her showing her I was serious, causing Shani to sigh before walking off giving me my chance.
"Ima go chill with Chres them, see you later twin." King said to Pooh before walking off, leaving the two of us alone.

Michelle P.O.V
King obviously thought he was slick leaving me and August alone, I did not need a matchmaker incase he didnt know, as soon as King got a few feet away he turned around at smirked at me. Causing me to roll my eyes.
August is really cute. He smiled at me and I couldn't help but to smile back oh my god his smile was so beautiful.
"Sooo" he said awkwardly starting off the conversation.
"Soooooo"
We both laughed in unison. "Can I get your number lil ma?" I smirked "You sure your girl wont get mad?" I said in a laugh.
"Think you funny don't you? But naw forreal ma, whats your number? " he said while flashing me with his smile.
I hand him my phone for him to put his number in and he did the same for me, I saved my number in his phone as " Lil Shawty ♥ " because thats what he called me before he new my name and plus I thought it was kinda cute.
When he gave me my phone back I saw that he had saved his number as "Aug ♥ " it was simple but cute. August chuckled when he saw what I had saved my number as in his phone. I explained to him why I put it as that causing him to smirk at me, oh god something about this boy gave me chills.
We laughed,talked, cracking jokes and getting to know each other for a bit until he had went to go find Shani being that she hasn't returned since he sent her off upset earlier. He gave me a hug and we said our bye's when he promised to call me later after he had gotten rid of Shani. I watched him walk off as I stood there smiling. Next thing I know my bestfriend Trinity was walking over to me.
"I seeen you girl" she said dragging her words letting me know she had been drinking.
I laughed. "I seen you too over there grindin on my brother Chres" "Girlll Chres is sooo gorgeous" I turned my nose up in disgust. "Ew you're so nasty oh my gosh".
"Anyways, whats up with you and August his sexy asss" she said while staggering with her words.
"Nothing, we just met he's cool. "
"And sexy" she added.
"oh my gosh yes girl" I said while fan girling over him like he was a celebrity.
"Girl, yo daddy won't accept that neither will yo brothers, helll nah" she said while taking down some vodka. "And why not?" I asked curiously.
"Girl, he's in a gang the gang your fam is in has a very strong hatred to his I'm shocked ain nobody got to shootin out here I got on a bullet proof vest just incase. " she said filling me in.
My eyes widened shocked to be hearing this new information, I mean I knew pops and them was in a gang I just never thought of it to be that serious. Atleast not when I'm around.
"Damn, but wait King and him were talkin like they were cool, King introduced me to him."
"King aint in a gang babygirl ,he just sells and gets the hell on."
"Damn Trin you know more about my family than I do"
She giggled before sipping on her drink again.
"Oooo girl this my song, come on."
Trin pulled my arm and the next thing I knew we were in the middle of the crowd surrounded by girls twerking like they were getting paid for it. Every girl thats in the crowd was twerking, including Trin.
I shook my head and started to exit the crowd when I felt someone behind me grab my arm. I stopped and turned around to see who had grabbed me. Once I saw that is was August smiled at him and started grinding on him just for a tease. He was turnt. After a couple of dances August grabbed my hand and led me over to go get a drink & talk a little more.
"What happened to Shani? You ditched her that quick?" I said laughing.
"Naw, she said I was staring at you and not paying any attention to her so she got mad and she left.
"Oh wow, staring at me? how cute." I said smirking at him.
" well, could you blame me? You're beautiful Pooh."
I looked over at him and smiled before looking away blushing. He just seemed so perfect, I feel like I knew him already.
"You arent so bad yourself big guy" I said before pushing him over playfully.
We smiled at each other before looking away blushing.
Later that night I went home and got comfortable just in time, August had called me.
We talked all night long on the phone after the cookout up until 8 in the morning. Even though we just met it seems like I knew him forever, like we were bestfriends already. Like its been that way forever. It sounds weird, but it's just a little feeling I get talking to him.
