Alex had slept on the bus with Lucy for 2 hours now. Tranquility obvious on them as two children about the age of 9-10 saw them mischievously, holding giggles at the apparent couple. They were vendors of candy and such, their abulant crates lying on a seat.
The boys were dressed poorly with common clothes. The moment they saw Lucy both of them blushed at her beauty and flowing hair that was hidden behind her. One of them was brave enough to accept a dare from his buddy after teasing each other to get a touch of her hand but something told them to not EVEN. So they compromised on Alex's dumbass
"Porque a la chava no!? Bueno entonces hazela al men este! Ah que no le pones esto..!" ("Why the girl not!? Well then do it to this guy! You wouldn't put this on him...!) One of them said showing him an unknown object they got from their sales. Mostly adults used them and called it something weird but upon seeing it they got a laughful of reactions by using the square prank
The other named Thomás shrugged knowing no better "A bueno. Asi pos si. La chava se ve muy sexy y hasta quiero pero... Tengo miedo..." ("Oh okay. That's better. The girl looks very sexy and even I want to do it but... I'm afraid...") He admitted.
The dare was to place the square object in his hand and await to see his reaction by waking him up. The first kid Raul giggled seeing Thomas in a whatever fashion walk quietly to Alex's limp hand hanging of the seat. Opening his hand with a candy bar he place the object as he pried it open with a twitch reaction, succesfully not waking him up.
"Hay ta!" ("There it is!") Thomás hollered to Raul while being close to Alex
"Vente pendejo!" ("Get over here dumbass!") Raul whined having wasted all the effort to wake Alex slightly bit by bit to see his reaction
The prototype was awakened by the shout that he blinked three times, alerting Thomas to run like hell back to his buddy's seat as they watched hidden behind the back seat rail
He stretched out his hands without moving his torso to keep Lucy asleep. Feeling sleepy he tried to shut his eyes but then he heard a crackling sound by closing his left hand.
'What-what is this?' He asked in his mind. Opening his eyes a bit larger, he brought the object to view and as soon he got a glipmse it almost made him explode in an embarrassed rage
The little square was a condom
Holding his shout, Alex saw the two little devils laughing quietly behind their bench
"Oh you think you funny huh?" Alex told them as his distraut was changed to cockyness 'I don't even need it' a part of him thought mischievously before he slapped it away to avoid getting flustered
They nodded gleefully without noticing Alex's vein ridden fist hidden by Lucy's jacket. Raul was brave enough to signal him about Lucy
"Ella- es- muy- buena- pa- ti-!" ("She's- Too- Pretty- For- You!") Raul murmured in syllables to Alex far from him
'Oooo you little sh-'
In their little squatter, Alex was caught by surprise and Lucy was almost send flying alongside the kids, passengers, and bus driver that were lifted or thrown away from their seats like if it had crashed into a wall
Thankfully, the prototype grabbed Lucy and stuck his right claw to the back wall of the bus. She almost had a heart attack from the incident but recovered by getting on her two feet. Almost in sinc, She ducked a fired smoke round from the cracked front of the blurry winshield and Alex followed up with a kick to send it back the way it came with a bigger crack. A false attempt to force them out Alex noted
"Whipfist!" In a hyped way, he swung around his forcefully unstucked hand and fired the whip to the top of the bus, then retracted to make a missile dash kick
A poor fool got in the way and he stomped on his face, dragged him across the road, and then right kick his chin to be sent spinning to his death bleeding from his ravaged bloody back
"Show your face bastard!" Alex shouted as he saw blackwatch forces around the bus and pointing at him
"So you are the famed 'Project Zeus'?"
Turning around, he looked up the bus and saw a giant standing there looking through his black gas mask. He recognized that uniform anywhere. It was a super soldier alright, but with a tactical fashion and a presence of bloodlust that he felt was locked up in him
"So you guys aren't all dead I see. You know you can't beat me right?" He mocked and raised his hands in anticipation.
The SS chuckled and jumped down. Alex could swear the damn street shook and some soldiers felt the temblor too. Now that he looked at it... Wasn't the original ones smaller than what he saw right now?
"I was told the same. But something tells me this time I will come out victorious!" The giant claimed and faster than Alex could dodge, a giant fist crushed his nose and almost flattened his whole face. An echo soared with Alex as he was implanted to a building like a broken cartboard piece. The SS glowed in red neon power with its blood surging like a locomotive.
The soldiers made way as he came barging and tackled Alex right through the building ongoing to the next, then grabbed his neck to end in a slam to the floor
"What do you got to say now?" He asked stepping away from the prototype with the pressure wires in his arms retracting back to normal
From the ground, he cracked the street and got up a little groggy "You...*SPAT*... Son of a bitch" he made out and got up in a whim "I knew those bastards kept some data files somewhere. It JUST HAD TO BE THE SUPER SOLDIERS PROJECT!" He roared mad at this benemoth thing
The SS chuckled feeling mighty
In the distance, there was gunshots going on in a fury of a full on assault. Alex smiled knowing who it was as he heard the screams of those Blackwatch troopers
"But-"
His grin was gone as he felt an oversize punch hit his gut. He folded over the strength of the spiked fist and was plunged into a house
It came down on him as he crashed in massive speeds
"I see I found a worthy opponent to clobber to death" Alex stated now holding his fists in a fighting boxer stance. The SS stood up and saw the hammerfists Project Zeus possessed "I thought this was going to be boring. Thankfully you have those arms under your strengths I see... Good. Very fucking good. NOW I CAN KNOCK THE LIVING FLESH OFF YOU MERCER!!!" He yelled in anger as he slammed the floor to make a quake resonate through
The pavement and road quaked as well did the surrounding buildings that suffered cracked windows and structural damage. He growled as the wires on his body began to pump blood until it glowed neon red.
Alex grinned and did the same but in a manner of a jump with a double axe slam. His shockwave reached farther than SS, clearly by the buildings collapsing and the ground tilting and deforming into jagged ends
It suprised him no doubt and more so as Alex seemed to be holding back
"Come on then! Let's-"
"Brawl!" Both roared and dashed right into each other and clashed in the middle. None of them bugged as a stalemate was obvious now trying to give an extra push to overpower one another.
The battle then escalated, trading blows to the face in a mad swing contest to see which one would fall first. Alex was struck in the jaw and blurred his vision with blood dripping from his eyes, in return he flattened his face and cracked the glass into the SS face that leaked the neon blood
Then again and again they hit the same spot in different angles to get every inch, every small detail of each other messed the fuck up. Quite literally
The SS found it strange that he had no back up and receiving a gut punch he saw behind Alex to see Lucy cutting the heads of the blackwatch company. They fired in her direction only to be met by the blocking vectors of the diclonius
"Damned thot..." The SS grumbled, and he grabbed Alex's head in one hand to over-head throw him like a baseball to the building wreckage behind him
The prototype was hurled right through the collapsing building and twirled over to a stop screetching across the destroyed road "huh. He hits good" Alex congratulated brushing blood away from his cheek. The cut flesh he had on his face was now fixing itself completely before he smiled "I can get a few hits in and have fun this time." He grinned
Before he fired himself back to the SS and finish the battle, he was struck by missiles and became engulfed in a ball of flames. It did not last long with Alex brushing off the last missile and the surrounding fire in one single arm swing. Clearing the view, Alex sighed seeing a whole army now pointing all kinds of high grade caliber weapons to shoot him blind
"Ah fuck..."
The SS dashed away and hurtled right to Lucy.
She was alert to her enviroment as each soldier pointing a gun to her met a fatal slice. They were easy to take out and more over the bullets were the run-of-the-mill caliber "Get out of my way!" She yelled tearing a guy in two
Despite her calm, she felt nervous seeing Alex facing someone that strong. Never did she ever thought someone could pose a threat against him and lest the strength aspect. Wanting to help Lucy started to kill the lackeys and planned to finish the brute with him but before she could see where Alex was, the SS was going straight to her.
"Oh no!" She screetched in a barely audible whisper to quickly vector jump away from the SS that rammed straight into another building. Landing in one foot, the diclonius looked at the SS now looking straight at her
"You were quick. I give you that monster. I would commend you if that power was on our side" he said ending in cracking his neck.
"Me working for you humans? How stupid do you think I am to work with such pests?" She retorted now expecting to fight
"Too bad then. Die!"
The SS jumped in an attempt to slam her to the concrete, until he felt the power of the vectors holding him in mid air. She had all ten vectors attached to him and planned to tear him to pieces, yet as she willed it, Lucy found out that she could not even slightly contort his body
The SS was too strong and ripped to be... Well ripped apart 'What is this strength!?' She fanthomed in her thoughts seeing the monster holding together against her invisible arms. It felt like pulling apart a fish hook from flesh... Yet he didn't let up an inch now flexing to get free
Little by little he was now pushing and breaking free from the restraints, making Lucy churn her facial features at the force "what!? H-tck-how are you doing this-!?"
She let him go and backed away barely sensing the SS who lurched forward to crack the ground where she was. His fist was powerful and Lucy realized the fatality his hit would be. This was going to be hard to do 'I have to find a weakness...'
He dashed again and Lucy applied her true power by stopping him full on with her vectors then raised him to the air gripping at the bastard's muscles that did not seem to lose their stone structure even at the vector's sharp hold. Now at full power the SS felt his limbs being pulled at but he gained back control by overpowering her vectors with an all mighty extension push holding himself to glide down to her
Lucy annoyed and impressed looked at the SS "Kchhhhhhh HA!" She shouted and fired a slice to finish him as. Sadly she saw how the SS swung around it like a leaf in the air and slided next to her left side looking at the opposite side
Her eyes widened at the speed of this beast, locked in the opposite side looking at the reflection of the glass to watch the chiseled back of the Super Soldier glowing neon red
"You lack speed-" he growled, quicker than air Lucy got a kick behind her legs that swiped them clean off the ground. Before she could scream at the pain from the potent kick, the bastard swung his right arm to towards her and slammed her into the floor cracking the road further.
She layed there in the rubble opened-mouth in a silent scream while the SS looked down at her stuck between his two feet.
"You are pathetic... A monster they call you but-" he raised a foot and hovered it above her face in anticipation. A bloodlust could be seen in the pulsating eyes of the SS. He wanted to kill this threat as fast as possible
"All I see... Is a girl who is too broken to even fight!" He roared and attempted to smash her head. The poor diclonius could only raise her arms and vectors due to the blinding speed of the SS. She hoped the invisible shield of arms could sustain the fist's force but at mere contact it broke right through them like wood, heading straight to her head to complete his goal.
In a whimper she bit her lip and awaited the hit
A critical boom sounded right above her and she braced for the pain. A pain that never came. Looking up through her arms she saw one hammerfist holding the SS's fist right above in a struggle.
Alex had a gaunt mad face looking at the SS who was astounded at the apperance of Zeus and the power he demonstrated by holding his fist right above her but not able to move it at all
"Alex!!" She said surprised at the presence Alex had around him
"Its you Zeus-"
"DON'T YOU DARE HIT HER!"
