Percy's Pov
I wake up to hear screaming. I look at the time and find it's only 2am. I rush out of the room and into the room where the scream came from. I burst through the door scared that a monster found me, only to find Natalie sitting on the floor with her arms around her knees.
She looks up and sees me standing there. She immediately rushes to me and wraps her little arms around me and I pull her into a hug.
'Are you alright Natalie? What happened?' I ask genuinely worried.
She sobs loudly in my arms. 'I had a nightmare Percy' She stammers in between sobs.
I squeeze her a little bit tighter. 'Oh sweetheart it's ok, nightmares are just dreams that are meant to scare us. But you don't need to worry because it will never happen. Now what did you dream about?' I ask curious.
Natalie stops sobbing and looks up at me. 'I dreamed that you were ki-killed' She stammered.
'Killed? Do you remember who or what killed me?' I ask curious.
She nods. 'It w-was a-a guy that ca-called himself Kronos' She said shaking in fear.
Well this can't be a coincidence. Natalie has most likely never even heard of Kronos so I know she isn't making this up.
I quickly pull Natalie back for a hug and she starts crying again.
'It's ok, everything is going to be just fine' I whispered to her.
Just then Amanda shows up by the door and looks at us. I give her a small smile.
'Hey Amanda' I said still smiling.
'What's going on? I heard screaming and came as soon as I could' She said hurrying to us.
'Everything is ok, Natalie just had a nightmare. I too heard screaming and ran over here' I said quietly.
Amanda quickly wrapped her arms around Natalie who was sniffling softly.
'Oh sweetheart, your ok now don't worry' Amanda said quietly.
'Thank you sister' Natalie said wiping some of her tears away.
'Come on, do you want some hot chocolate sweety?' Amanda asks.
Natalie nods her head rapidly. I smiled. She looked just like me when my mom would ask me if I wanted blue chocolate hip cookies.
We made our way downstairs to get some hot chocolate. I looked at the time and it read 2:09 am. Wow I thought the talk I had with Natalie was longer.
We had hot chocolate, which was amazing!, and went back to sleep. Unfortunately I couldn't fall back asleep, my talk with Natalie still in my mind.
So Kronos is coming back and will probably kill me. I thought grimly. Well he can certainly try. Though I still have my invincibility from the curse and nobody knows what my weak point is thankfully.
Thoughts like that kept swimming around my head all night until I realized it was morning now. I looked at the clock and it read 8:34 am. I sigh, I knew I shoulda gotten sleeping pills or something.
I get up and make my way to the bathroom, brushing my teeth, taking a shower and brushing my hair. I soon got dressed, putting on my hoodie as I walk out the door. As I reach the bottom step I hear Natalie talking to her sister.
I enter the kitchen and find Amanda taking out bacon.
'Hey! Why aren't you guys dressed? I do believe I said I was taking you both out to eat breakfast did I not?' I ask smiling.
Natalie exploded out of her seat, running up the stairs as fast as she can. Amanda smiled tiredly at me as she put away the bacon and eggs. She went upstairs to get dressed as well.
After about 15 minutes of waiting for Natalie and Amanda to get dressed, we finally went to Amanda's car. Yeah, I need to get me a car.
'So, where are we going?' Amanda asks.
'Hmm, have you been to IHOP? I love that place' I said grinning.
'Ive been there before, you sure we are going there?' She asks.
I nod in reply. We drove for 10 minutes. In those ten minutes, Natalie kept asking me questions about my life. I basically told her everything when she asked a question that caught me off guard.
'So do you have a girlfriend Percy?' She asked.
I almost bashed my head against the window at hearing that question. I hid it though by giving a warm smile.
'I used to. Not anymore' I said quickly.
Amanda looked at me in surprise, I just shrugged.
'What was her name? Is she a nice person? Can she be my sister too?' Natalie asked.
I chuckle a bit before answering.
'Her name is Annabeth Chase. She was a nice person in the beginning but now she is just a big jerk. She sort of cheated on me. And no she can't be your sister too' I said sadly.
'She cheated on you? Why would she cheat on you? You are such a nice guy! I would never even think about cheating on you had it been me and you' Amanda questioned softly.
I smile, my cheeks burning a deep red. Geesh, I thought girls blushed this much not guys!
'She cheated on me with my step brother, Nathan. Apparently killing two hellhounds is a greater achievement than me saving Olympus twice, killing Kronos, swimming in the river Styx, getting thrown into Tartarus and coming back, blowing up a mountain and leading the demigods to war twice on the Titan wars. But nobody seemed to remember any of that. They all practically worshipped that as-' I stop myself noticing I'm rambling on.
'Sorry, I'm rambling aren't I?' I said sheepishly.
Amanda smiles. 'Wow now I really hate this Nathan guy and I hadn't even met the guy!' She said putting turning off the car.
Through all my rambling I didn't even notice that we arrived. I get out of the car and open the door for Natalie to climb out. I pick her up and walk over with Amanda at my side. We entered and stood in front of a stand where a waitress was looking at a clipboard.
'How many sir' The waitress asked once she finally noticed me standing there.
For some reason she was staring at me, I think I saw a bit of drool on the side of her mouth.
'Table for three please' I said quickly, not wanting this lady to continue staring at me. This is so uncomfortable.
'Ok this way please' She said winking at me. I raise my eyebrow confused as to why she was winking at me.
I shrug it off and follow her to a table by the window. I sit Natalie next to me, with Amanda sitting across from me.
'Would you like anything to drink?' The waitress asked looking at me.
'Oh I would like a coffee please, Natalie here will have apple juice' I said looking at Natalie and she nods her head smiling.
'I will have a coffee as well' Amanda said.
The waitress nodded her head and went to grab us our drinks.
'Well that was awkward. Am I the only one annoyed that the waitress was staring at me?' I ask to no one in particular.
Amanda laughs lightly. 'I think she likes you' She said.
I looked at her raising an eyebrow. 'Yeah, no. She isn't my type. She is probably like the damn Aphrodite girls, having ten different boyfriends every week!' I said remembering my first day in Camp.
Amanda smiled again. Then the Waitress arrived with the drinks.
We quickly ordered breakfast and started talking when I saw a familiar face in the other side of the restaurant. I almost smashed my face against the table.
'What's wrong?' Amanda asked worriedly.
I sigh. 'My ex is here' I said deciding not to lie. My voice was dripped with anger.
'Do you wanna go somewhere else?' Amanda asks looking at me with understanding eyes.
I sigh again. 'No it's fine, we already ordered our food. I'll just keep my hood up' I said flicking my hood up.
'If you're sure' Amanda shrugged.
I nod.
The waitress returned with our food and everything was pretty much great. Nobody recognized me, so that was a bonus.
But of course, if your name is Percy and your luck is as bad as mine, then you know exactly what happened.
'I gotta go to the bathroom Percy' Natalie said jumping up and down.
I smiled. 'On come on, I will walk you to the bathroom' I said taking her hand.
I walked her to the door and she went in. I was outside the door waiting when I suddenly find myself looking at Annabeth as she comes out the bathroom.
Oh this is just great! *Note the sarcasm*
I look away not wanting to look at the cheating scum. But I guess she had other plans.
'Oh, I thought you were dead. What are you doing here?' She asked.
I rolled my eyes, anger boiling inside me. My hands were clenched into tight fists that were begging to smash Annabeth's face.
'Mind your own business' Was my respond.
She didn't take it too kind however because she slapped me in the face. I looked at her, my eyes burning with hatred, disgust, and pure anger. I almost killed her when Amanda came up and slapped Annabeth right in the face.
'Don't you slap my boyfriend!' Amanda hissed in anger.
Wow, I was so shocked I just stood there, still trying to believe what I just heard. Since when was I dating Amanda?? And wow she looked hot when she was angry! And why is she defending me in the first place?? Oh wait I think she already answered that.
I snapped out of my thoughts as Annabeth started yelling at Amanda. I was going to watch this little argument when I saw Annabeth's hand move to slap Amanda. My eyes burned with anger and I quickly stepped in.
I grabbed Annabeth's hand before it made contact with Amanda's face. Then I squeezed it hard until I heard her hand breaking. I looked dead at her, my eyes cold and emotionless. She stared at me shocked that I could do this to her. To her I was still the same old Percy Jackson. What she didn't know is that I've changed.
I smiled at her, a cold evil looking smile.
'Don't you ever lay a hand on her or next time I will send you to Tartarus and chain you up myself right next to Atlas' I said in a threatening tone.
She looked at me in fear and pain. Her eyes full of tears. She nodded her head and I let her go.
'Now leave, I don't want to see your ugly face again. Next time I see you, I won't be as nice' I said threateningly.
She nodded and ran off.
I took a deep breath to cool my anger down just as Natalie came out of the bathroom.
'I'm ready to go Percy' She said happily.

And there's another chapter! So what did you guys think?
I decided to bring back Annabeth here and well my original copy of this chapter was so much better but I lost it and had to start over.
So what did you guys think of Amanda slapping Annabeth? I personally was laughing my ass off as I was writing this chapter. I have so many ideas that I'm already working on the next chapter!
