The duo was now looking at the remaining choppers as they circulated in a formation to take them out. Alex grinned seeing Lucy surrounded by a thrill of the kill that instead of putting him nervous it did the exact opposite
"I'll take the two on my sights, you take-"
"GHAAAA!"
The diclonius completely ignored the prototype as she bounded to one that fired crazily in loose attempts to strike her. She bounded right to the windshield that was instantly crushed right to the pilots that were skewered by the glass shards
A chopper fired at it seeing the other finished by the vectors. Riddled by bullets the helicopter blew up but to their misfortune Lucy jumped to the sky and using her 10 vectors she slammed the chopper right to the falling flaming one to make a giant fireball that barelled to the street
Alex was jaw dropped seeing the speed she could actually go. He was wondering if she had the skills to pay the bills. His doubts were answered seeing her zoom to the remaining threats
Taking advantage of the momentum Lucy used her vectors to run across the street to the blinded Choppers that used infrared vision so it looked like she was flying
"What the hell is that!? Red Crown I'm facing a female adversary that appears to be ally with Project Zeus- awaiting orders." The pilot reported as he retreated back to evade the pink-haired threat
The other airship fired its missiles to Lucy but missed all eight shots as they destroyed the path she passed by. The target of hers could not retreat fast enough as Lucy shot out two of her vectors that cut the men's heads inside the chopper that splattered the windows
"What the fuck! Alpha-Zulu 1-4 awaiting command. This bitch is nuts and capable of mass destruction!" Reported the last pilot which took flight higher away from her reach as she came to the ground in a subtle slide as the chopper crashed behind her and ended in a boom
She stood up and glared at the Chopper having it's sights on her.
"This is Red Crown: detain Alex Mercer and the subject. Lethal force is approved if neccessary" the robotic voice commanded
"Roger" the pilot said as it beganto fire at the two targets. Alex simply summoned his shield and took the bullets head on while Lucy dashed away to be unseen
Frantically trying to break Alex's defence, the chopper began to fire missiles only to see that they bounced off to hit the surrounding area "Damn bastard!" He roared
Too late he realized he was losing elevation. Lucy saw this as an opening now summoning her full ten vectors to shred the thing right of the sky
She jumped high and close to it yearning the touch of destruction but in a blink of an eye, Alex summoned Whipfist and pulled the entire chopper right at hit almost hitting her with the back rotor of the tail. Skillfully she dodged going on top of the small rotor in a scorkscrew flip
Landing on her feet she glimpse as Alex whipped the chopper a second time that messily cut it in half that made it explode into nothing.
The battle was done. The prototype laughed seeing the airstrikes all down for the count and was now concentrated in looking for survivors-
"Hey that was mine!" She roared running right to his face "And you almost killed me too!"
Finishing her sentence, Alex felt a punch to the gut that awoke him to take notice of her "Hey! You were taking too long and we needed to finish this as fast as possible!" He argued now feeling insulted, childishly he flicked a finger on her forehead that made her wine in pain
"OOOWWwww! All I'm saying is don't steal my kills got it!?" She pointed her finger on his chest as he rolled his eyes
He smiled "Ha! All kills are for the one who gets it first" he said looking at her red eyes that were filled with annoyance "You wanna get them? Then do it before I come in"
"You JERK! I steal yours then!" She angrily stated now with a bubbly cheek from hearing his cocky demeanor
"As if you could.." Alex tapped his forehead against hers
She growled now pushing against it "YES I CAN!"
"Can you?"
"I WILL!"
"HOW SO?" Alex shouted now pushing against hers
"YOU'LL SEE!!" She claimed now glaring at Alex. He stood back and smirked "No you won't"
Lucy fumed at that comment "YES I WILL!!"
"No"
"YESS I WILL!!!"
"Nope"
"YES!"
"No~"
Alex walked backwards as he was walking to get a lift. Without her noticing, he had taken the gps from the Chopper by tearing the monitor radar out of it and now they were going on route to a base somewhere far into a rural area
Too close for comfort in his opinion... Like a couple of miles... No less like 20

He put out the sounds of a cute mad Lucy as he looked continued to just say no in an attempt to make her walk with him. She fell right into the trap as Alex nodded to his plan's success
No dead people as they walked to the bus station. The blackwatch base was hidden but close based on what he read on the device

A man in a chair holding a remote seeing the entire scenes was clicking his fingers in the chair he was in. A secretary of his walked to his customed place consisting of tables and portable chalkboards holding papers, documents, and photos of the Blacklight abomination that plagues the roots of Blackwatch
"Sir what is that being that clings alongside Zeus?" She asked fixing her glasses. A 30-something blonde lady with a semi-hour glass form stood behind the chair of her boss
The man twirled his chair to spin backwards and look at her "Even I am mystified by her apperance. It seems she has anomalous powers as well."
Revealing himself, he was a worn out tan man wearing thick shades and scars hidden right behind them. Wearing a former combat soldiers gear covered over by a black jacket, he looked fierce and ready to take on anyone standing in his way.
"But she must be captured as well. Not only has she intervened in our plan to see Zeus's weaknesses but she herself is a monster on her own" he said to her, going back to his monitors while the secretary jotted down notes as well receiving new intel
Taking one frame he expanded it too see it full screen. He replayed the clean cutting of a helicopter by a swing of Lucy's arm "The ability she possesses is something that can be intergrated into our projects and can help us seek other fields of weaponization. Plus-"
The man clicked a button in his chair and the screens changed into a camera view of a bus station
There in a single frame showed Alex's jacket followed by a flowing pink hair on the side
"The targets are coming this way. Somehow they know where we are located." Turning his view to the woman, he pointed at her "I want a transport out of here. Do not evacuate the facility as there can be a use of it."
"You plan to lure them in?" She asked looking at the eyes of her boss
"I plan more than that. Maybe even find a way to kill them." He stood up his chair and walked to her ready to make his order
"Fill this base with soldiers as much as you can and then follow me to the secret location. Have the cameras in upmost condition and have onlookers to take full note of the event that's gonna happen in a few hours. They have full authority to use lethal force" he said, his secretary now clicking into her ipad and delaying orders in sequence
He walked away from her as a drill began to roar. Under his wrist there was a button that meant lockdown procedures "And finally unleash the Project Orion"
The secretary gasped "You mean-n the-! But they are not stable and could cause massive collateral damage!" She shouted feeling scared of releasing undone projects to the open air
He nodded and walked to the closed door right under the ringing bell "I mean it. Send the Super Soldiers to attack them..."
The door opened to reveal the troops of his lining up, opening the gates, and getting into PC's/Tanks to protect the base of the unknown threat. This put a smile on his face
"Now."

The duo finally board on to a bus that had no cams on the side of the driver, an old version of the other buses which in Alex's words was acceptable
"Why did we have to get ALL the way back to this dirty old one!?" Lucy asked him now holding his arm... Like a couple
The two of them had walked up to here in incognito among the crowd of people but as soon they heard sirens they tried to hide their appearance
Alex stole a sombrero from a mobile cart as they passed and hid himself while taking off his jacket to transform it into an old grey jacket and placed it over her shoulders while soothly clamping over the hoodie to cover her pink vibrant hair
'Hide your hair and keep close to me'
She remembered how sudden that was
"That was to lose them from following us or getting a glimpse of us" Alex said holding a stolen ticket in his hands
She nodded and blushed slightly remembering how she is forced to hug his arm like a schoolgirl
Going back to how they got here...
As they were getting the right number for the closest to the location they needed to be in the station, she noticed him becoming more tense as officers began to question people with a picture. The teller of the desk was even more of a block as she wanted credit pay, which Alex simply flipped a finger and dashed in a blink of an eye
Going outside for the bus, She barely noticed how slick the prototype was having stolen the ticket he had now from a family man's pocket and dashing with her holding his arm
Her blush was not noticed by Alex, having panic and paranoia going on but she just could not hold herself as they passed people going the opposite way which saw her state
A couple of giddy girls laughed at her and winked seeing the man beside her. Of course she filled a cheek of hers feeling annoyed
Older and more mature people passed and smiled in a manner of curiousness which mad her blush grow. Alex himself got shy from holding her like that but someone was following their steps so he bit his tongue
Back to present, the duo boarded the bus and headed to the back seats to the left corner to scope out how many blues were out there
Lucy and Alex were serious there seeing a dozen blocking the streets from where they came from
"Phew. Lost the sights from them for a while"
Lucy nodded and relaxed a bit seeing Alex raise his hands behind his head and looked to the giant window of the bus at the people going in to the station that was now going to be ridden by blackwatch any second now
'Out of sight, out of mind' he said feeling sleepy from fighting such a boring fight and the lack of flesh in his stomach.
He was going close his eyes for a nap until he caught eye of Lucy's discomfort. She was twitching.
'That's bad' Alex curved his eyebrow seeing the diclonius flexing and contorting her fingers like a psycho path would. Nawing silently mad at her lip, Alex took off his sombrero and set it aside to do something to calm her
'Damn... Humans... And this r-rage!' Lucy wanted to rip her ears hearing the conversations of the bus filled with half its capacity of people. The vectors holding back above her head were also twitching but thankfully they were invisible to the human eye
Almost close to the bridge of losing it, Alex scooted a seat over to be beside her. Lucy was called off her murderous thoughts and tried to look at Alex. Before she could do so the prototype hugged her with an arm behind to set her against his chest
"Wo-what are you DO-ING!?" She loudly murmured. Alex paid no attention and kept her there even if she applied force to get off the hug
Lucy panicked, feeling embarrassed at his touch, yet being honest to herself the feeling she got from leaning on him felt peaceful.
Without Alex's vocal answer and opposing force that did not let her leave his side, Lucy gave up and mustering a tiny blush she slept on his chest comfortly while Alex napped sitting upright on the bus
A while will happen until they realize this would be one of the moments that they shared a sensation of peace in a moment of heist by the goverment's secret branch
