{Continuing on in Luke's POV}
~
"You do understand." He said in a low tone coming closer to me.
"I do." I replied quietly.
It wasn't an awkward silence but it was enough silence for other things to happen.
I took a step closer and put my forehead to his. He wrapped his arms around my neck and we both leaned in. I felt out lips touch and that sent me off. We started off slows but soon picked up the paste a bit.
My stomach was erupting with butterflies and my mind was going crazy. I didn't think this would happen so quickly and soon. His big hand was tangled in my hair as I pinned him up against my bedroom wall. Though, it wasn't a rough kiss at all. His, surprisingly soft lips, moved slowly against mine at a romantic pace. I'm so glad there's no one here to ruin this.
"Luke." He pulled away breathlessly.
"Y-yeah." I looked down at him because he was so short.
"You're an amazing kisser." He smiled and kissed me again for a few seconds before we parted.
"You too." I winked.
"You have no idea how long I've been waiting for that." He stared at me, playing with my hair.
I smiled back at his adorableness. "I could say the same. Ashton, I've really liked you for a long time now and ever since I saw you walk into that class room I couldn't get you out of my mind. You mean a lot to me and seeing you get hurt made my heart break. I never want to see you go the through that again. So please let me protect you by asking you this question. Ashton Fletcher Irwin, will you please be my boyfriend?" I say hesitantly worried about his reaction. I mean after all we did just kiss...
"Of course I'll be your boyfriend, Luke. I'd love to!" He gave me a tight hug and kissed me on the cheek. "Just promise me you won't betray my trust. I can't go through that again." His voice cracked as his hands trailed down to my shirt collar and held onto it tightly.
"What do you mean, Ash?" I held his hand as we sat down on my bed.

-Present Time-

~Ashton's POV~
"When I was about 13 I was in a relationship with this one guy. Yes, I found out I was gay pretty early on in life. And no one judged me, oddly. He was so sweet and kind, I don't know what happened to him. Everyone thought it was just a normal middle school relationship though but no, he was... Different? You know those typical "get together for like a week then break up relationships" and stuff? Yeah it wasn't like that. He was looking for a trustworthy person and so was I. Someone dedicated to commitment. It lasted until we were both 14 and that's when we broke it off. It was our 1 year anniversary and my mom finally made me realize what kind of person he was. One day he did something I never thought he would do; and that was hurt me."
*Flashback*
"Why'd you fucking cheat on me, Ashton?!" He screamed in my face as I backed up into the wall.
"I swear to you I didn't!" I protested.
"STOP LYING TO ME." He yelled sternly, between gritted teeth.
"IM NOT LYING GODDAMN IT." I stomped my foot and he grabbed my wrist. That same night I tried cutting for the first time in my life so you better believe it hurt like hell.
"You bastard." He spit in my face.
"Stop. Y-You're hurting me." I whimper trying to get out of his touch. I felt tears pour out of my eyes and my vision was cloudy from them. I felt his grip loosen and I opened my eyes to him backing up.
"Ashton, I swear I didn't mean to hurt you."
"No, just please. Go away." I choke out a sob.
"Please let me explain!" He shook me making me cry even more.
"Why should I let you explain when you don't even let me?" I yell back at him. "We are over! Please get out of my house." I clench my fists pushing him to the door.
"Ashton, please no! I love you." He stopped completely.
"No, you don't love me. And if you did love me you would have believed me when I said that I didn't cheat on you." I looked dead in the eyes. "What about all those times you kissed another guy. Or even a girl? I forgave you and I trusted you that it was a mistake. Or that they forced you to. What about that time you almost had sex with the most popular girl in school? What about that time you actually drank alcohol and kissed 7 different people in the same night. We're in fucking middle school! What about that time you left me all alone at the back of the school because you had a special date planned but you forgot and never showed up. What about the time-"
"Stop." He looked down. "I'm sor-"
"Besides, I don't love you anyways." I finished pushing him out and slamming the door.
That was actually a total lie. I didn't love him. He just meant a lot to me. He was also my best friend. And I lost him. I lost everything.
*Flashback Over*
"Ashton, I'm so sorry." Luke held my hand even tighter. I could tell that he was being honest here.
"The worst part was my mom was shot and died that same year. They never found the man who did it. My dad found out I was gay. All my friends left me. No one talked to me, that same year." I looked at him, starting to tear up.
"Ashton, I promise you that Calum, Michael, and I will always stay by your side no matter what. They didn't judge me and they will for sure not judge you. Besides we're dating now and I know they'll except it. Trust me. I promise to never hurt you. I promise to never cheat on you. And I promise to never leave your side." Luke ran a hand through my hair and down my back, rubbing it.
"Thank you, Luke. I just really hope you can keep those promises." I smile at him.
"I promise." He kissed my nose.
I don't know what it is but I trust Luke, a lot. And I feel like I can do anything with him and tell him everything. He makes feel safe and I like that.
"Let's go to bed now, I'm tired." He rubbed his eyes while yawning.
"I agree." I chuckle a bit because he's so cute and he's actually mine. I'm still shocked about what just happened a couple minutes ago. But I loved every second of it.
"Where do I uh... Sleep?" I asked scratching my neck.
"I don't mind you sleeping in my bed, you know? I mean you should get used to it." He winked.
"Um... I don't know if that was meant to be inappropriate or if you just meant that I'll just be staying in your room." I widened my eyes.
"Eh, both." He laughed opening his bed up and offered for me to get in first just like the last time I slept over.
"Goodness Luke, we started dating like 30 minutes ago and you're already thinking dirty." I jumped in bed and shook my head, laughing.
"Sorry, I had to Ashy!" He pinched my cheek getting in after me.
I laid down on my side and I felt his arms wrap around me.
"I'm looking forward to this relationship, Ashy."
"I am too, Lukey." I felt him smile against my neck.
After a few moments of silence of thinking he was asleep he stirred a bit before asking.
"Ashton."
"Mhm?"
"Who was your ex?" He asked. I could tell he was hesitant on wether he should ask or not because it might me a touchy subject. And that's what u love about Luke.
I sighed a but before answering.
"Harry."
