Timeskip, 2 Years
It's been 2 years since you were picked up by the White Fang, and they had recently transferred you to be with the Vale branch, so you returned to your home. You've been raising Crystal with your mother and the White Fang allowed you to stay at the camp to raise her. She's learned to say a few words, and knows your her big brother and knows her mommy as well. Kayla would always play and entertain Crystal, rolling on the ground, licking her face, playing games with her. Crystal was a ball of sunshine, and you absolutely adored her. You were outside playing with Crystal and Kayla when your mother came along.
Mom: Well it seems you three are having fun.
Crystal: Momma!
She ran up to her and hugged her leg as you picked up Kayla and put her on top of Crystal's head, which she giggled from.
Y/N: Hello mother, so what's going on?
Mom: Not much, so far the faunus protest aren't getting us anywhere.
Y/N: Ahhh, damn humans just can't learn how to share space.
Mom: Now then *picks up Crystal with Kayla on her head* How's my cute little wolf pup doing?
Crystal: *giggles* I'm fine. Big brother taught me how to count to 5!
Mom: Really!? Can you count for me sweetie!
Crystal: Mhmm! One! Two!..Th-Three?...U-Umm....big brother, what's after three?
Y/N: *Chuckle* Four Crystal. Four.
Crystal: Yeah! Four! And five!
Mom: Wow! Good job sweetie! I'm so proud of you!
Crystal: Can me and Kayla go play?
Mom: Of course, not too far now Crystal.
Crystal: Okay! Come on Kayla!
You watched with a smile as the two ran off to play, and you and your mother sat down to relax.
Y/N: *sigh*....
Mom: What is it dear?
Y/N: I wish Dad were here. I miss him.
Mom: *places hand on your shoulder* Me too, but we can't grieve over him forever, he wouldn't want that. He'd want us to live as happy as we could.
Y/N: Yeah...
???: Mommy!
???: Get back here kid!
You got up and ran to the noise, and saw Crystal and Kayla run from the tree line. Behind them came a man who had a weapon, and you could tell he was a huntsman.
Crystal: Mommy!
Mom: Crystal!
She jumped into her arms as you stepped forward.
Y/N: Stop right there!
???: Huh? A-A White Fang base!?
He ran out of the area yelling.
???: OVER HERE! IT'S OVER HERE!
Y/N: SHIT! MOM! GET CRYSTAL OUT OF HERE!
All of a sudden there were massive explosions all over the camp. You ran to your mom and sister, and began to try and find a way out of there. White Fang members were rushing out, and began to fight against the huntsman. Bullets were flying over your head, and you were carrying Crystal in your arms. You saw a group of huntsman in front of you, and they noticed and took aim.
Y/N: Kayla! Sick em!
Kayla: *BARK*
All of a sudden, Kayla glowed white, and she transformed into a full on Alpha-Beowulf. Their bullets bounced off of her, and she knocked them out of the way. She roared as she went down on all fours.
Y/N: Mom, take crystal and go!
Mom: I won't leave you!
Y/N: I'll be right behind you! Now go!
They mounted Kayla and she ran off into the forest. You turned to the camp and saw Adam was hurt. You ran towards him and knelt next to him.
Y/N: ADAM!
Adam: Help me! My ankle!
Y/N: I got you buddy! Hold on!
You picked him up in your arms, and channeled your energy and used it to fly high into the air, leaving a trail of your aura.
Adam: Y-You can fly!?
Y/N: You learn new things everyday.
You looked down to the forest and saw Kayla with your mom and sister riding through the forest. You whistled and landed in front of them.
Mom: You can fly!?
Y/N: Yeah, now, where's the nearest White Fang base?
Adam: About 5 miles from here, due east.
Y/N: Alright, Kayla, take Adam, I'm going to check for survivors.
Mom: Be careful.
Y/N: I will.
You turned to go back, but Crystal called to you.
Crystal: Big Brother!
Y/N: What is it Crystal?
Crystal: I wanna be with Big Brother! *reaches for you*
Y/N: I know sis, but Big Brother has something he has to do right now. I'll be back, I promise.
Crystal: Pinky promise?
Y/N: Pinky promise.
You gave Crystal a kiss on her head, and flew back over to the camp. You looked down to see the huntsman had wiped out the White Fang members, and were salvaging what they could.
Y/N: Humans, disgusting...
You raised one hand towards them and began to charge your attack.You released a huge ball of energy, and once it struck them, it created a massive explosion. All the huntsman were wiped out, and you fired a few more to make sure there was nothing left of the camp, completely leveling the forest for 20 miles. After that you flew east, and saw the camp coming into view. You saw Kayla and your family and Adam had just arrived as well, so you landed next to them.
Y/N: I'm back, nothing's left at the area.
CampLeader: I'm guessing those explosions were you then.
Y/N: Yes.
CampLeader: Good work, we have tents set up for your family.
Y/N: Thank you.
You walked to your mother and sister as they jumped off Kayla and ran to you. Crystal gripped onto your leg as if your life depended on it.
Crystal: Big Brother!
Y/N: Hey sis, I'm okay. Don't worry.
You picked her up and she wrapped her arms around you and you walked to your mother, and saw Kayla shrunk down to her pup size. She climbed up your body, and laid down on Crystals hair, falling asleep.
Mom: They both must be exhausted.
Y/N: Yeah, well, let's get to a tent.
You began to walk off, and saw Adam getting his ankle taken care of.
Y/N: Adam, glad to see you're okay. Make sure to stay off of that for a while.
Adam: Yeah, I will, thanks Y/N.
Y/N: No problem little bro.
You walked into the tent and laid Crystal down, with Kayla next to her. Your mother laid down as well, as you stepped outside the tent, and looked around.
Y/N's Thoughts: This isn't an environment a 2 year old should be growing up in.....maybe we should leave...
You looked up to the shattered moon and admired its beauty.
Y/N's Thoughts: Who knows, maybe I'll get to go to school again, I am supposed to be in school after all, and this year would mean that I would apply to Beacon.....Raven's going to Beacon....
You looked back to the tent and saw your family sleeping soundly behind you. When they attacked, you were worried sick about them, and after everything that's happened, you weren't going to put them at risk again. You walked to the commanding officer's tent that night to discuss both yours and your mother's retirement from the White Fang.
Timeskip, The Next Morning
You, your mother, and Crystal were all on the back of Kayla who was in her Alpha form, with packed bags, ready to live a normal life, away from the violence.
CampLeader: We understand the need for your leave, and always remember you will have a place among our ranks if you do wish to return. We want what is best for you, and will continue to fight for you.
Y/N: You know you guys say I'm the hero of the faunus, but really it's all of you who are hero's. I've never met anyone as brave as you all. I'm going to miss you guys so much.
Adam: You better come visit! *sobs*
Y/N: I will Adam, I promise.
Adam nodded and wiped away his tears before standing between two girls. A cat faunus, and a chameleon faunus. You all turned to face the path that would take you back into Vale, and turned back one more time.
Y/N: WE'LL NEVER FORGET YOU GUYS!
White Fang: GOOD LUCK Y/N! BE SAFE! WE LOVE YA WOLFIE!
They all waved as you sped off on Kayla, heading for your old home in a nice quiet part of Vale. Once you arrived, you already had flashbacks of your time here. How you were always happy, and the time you spent with your friends. Your neighbors who were realtors didn't have it in themselves to put your home up for sale, so they held onto the keys just in case you came back. As you rode down the street, people who you used to know were still there, and were much older. When they saw you, they recognized you and waved and yelled saying things from, " Welcome home!" to "HE'S BACK! THE WOLF OF VALE HAS RETURNED!" You chuckled at their remarks and after a few more minutes, found yourselves stood in front of your home....home........you began to remember all the things that happened in your life, and how your Dad was a part of every single one of them.
Crystal: Mommy, is that our new home?
Mom: Ohh, no dear, this has always been our home, and now it's yours too.
Crystal: Wow....
Kayla turned back into her pup form, and jumped onto Crystals head, resting there with a happy expression seeing her home. You walked up to your neighbors home, and knocked three times before waiting for an answer. After a few seconds, you were met with a bunny faunus who was in a morning robe, and had messed up hair.
???: H-Huh? Can I help you?
Y/N: *Chuckle* It's me Mr.Scarlentina. Y/N L/N? The little wolf that would run amok the neighborhood....It's nice to see you Xavier.
Xavier: Y-Y/N?! Is that really you!? Come here sonny boy! Bring it in!
He pulled you into a hug and chuckled while you laughed and patted his back.
Xavier: Man! It's been so long! You've grown so much! Honey! Get down here! Haha, someone's come to visit!
???: Who is it?
You saw a woman with brown hair and brown eyes come down in a morning robe as well, and she went wide-eyed.
???: Y/N? Is that you?
Y/N: Hello Bella. It's nice to see you again.
Bella: Y/N! It's so good to see you! You've grown up so much!
She hugged you and gave you a kiss on the cheek as you returned the gesture, and then you heard the most adorable voice ever.
???: Mommy? Daddy?
You looked down to see a little girl who looked about the same age as Crystal hugging Bella's leg. She had the cutest bunny ears ever, and was looked tired.
Bella: Ohh, you're awake, good, Velvet *picks up Velvet in her arms* This is Y/N. Y/N, meet our daughter Velvet Scarlentina.
Y/N: Hi sweetie!
Velvet: H-Hi..
Bella: Ohh, come now dear, don't be shy.
You noticed Velvet was entranced by the sway of your tail and chuckled.
Y/N: *Chuckle* You wanna touch my tail?
She sheepishly nodded, and you moved your tail so she could touch it. She petted it lightly and when it swayed around her eyes lit up and a smile made its way onto her face.
Velvet: Wow!
???: Big Brother?
You turned to see Crystal stood behind you.
Y/N: Ahh, Crystal, I want you to meet someone. Velvet, meet my baby sister Crystal, Crytal, this is Velvet.
The two stood in front of each other, then suddenly Crystal's ears perked up, and she hugged her, making Velvet blush.
Crystal: Hi! I'm Crystal, if my Big Brother says you're nice, then I like you already! Wanna be best friends?
Velvet: Yeah! Wait, is that a monster on your head?!
Crystal: No! She's my pet! Her name is Kayla, and she's the friendliest pet anyone could have! Come on! Let's go play!
Velvet: Okay!
The two ran off as you and Velvet's parents smiled.
Y/N: Ms.Scarlentina, I believe there is something you said I could always come back to...may I have the keys back?
Bella: Of course dear, welcome home. *smiles*
You took the keys, and went to your home. Once you opened the door, you saw all your furniture and things you left behind were still there. You walked in, and your mother followed in, but just as you were going to continue inside, you remembered you had something to do.
Y/N: Ohh, Mom, I've gotta go apply for Beacon, I'll be back soon! *runs out of home*
Mom: Okay! Be careful!
You ran through the streets of Vale, feeling the happiness and joy you once felt before, and the warmth of the environment around you. Word had spread about your arrival to Vale, and at a certain cafe, four teens who had just recently been accepted into Beacon Academy were all having a drink when they heard a conversation between to people.
???: Hey, did you hear who's back in town?
???: No, who?
???: Y/N L/N, kid finally came home.
???: Really? Well, it's good to know he's back, things weren't the same without the little wolf.
When a certain wolf faunus heard this, she stopped midway from drinking her coffee.
???: Sis, you alright?
???: Raven?
???: You okay?
Raven: Y-Yeah...I'm okay...
She set her drink down, and tried to catch her bearings, but before she could....
???: HEY LOOK! THERE HE IS!!
???: THE WOLF IS BACK IN TOWN!
???: WELCOME HOME Y/N!
They all looked outside to see all the pedestrians and cars had stopped to look at you, seeing you run down the street like you were a celebrity and they were all cheering, and clapping, welcoming you back. Raven went wide-eyed seeing you were back, but also felt her heart shatter.
Raven's Thoughts: Y/N......
You were being raised into the air by people and were laughing and having fun.
Y/N: HAHAHAHA! WOOO!!!!! I'M BACK BABY!!!! I'M BAAAAAAAACK!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHA!!!!
