ANSH'S POV
" No... I thought you knew...." I replied.
That man was still coming closer and Ahana clasped her hands more tightly around me. Her eyes were already closed I suppose.
But before we realised he went towards the fireplace and opened it with the knife and lit it on.
" Ahana... Chill..." I said tapping her.
She opened her eyes and looked around, realising what happened.
" Hello!! I think you guys aren't Finnish. Well, you don't look like though. I am Derek. I speak English too." He said handing us a bottle of water. His accent had a Finnish base.
Ahana sighed. She sat down at the nearby couch, drinking the water.
" You speak English?" I asked.
" Yeah!! We have tourists who speak only English. Initially, I assumed that I may not expect foreigners at this hour hence spoke in Finnish. Anyways, I was asking if you need any help or rooms?"
" Yeah! Only for few hours. We have a flight to Ivalo. So we will leave at around 9. Hope you have vacant rooms. " I asked drinking water.
" Yeah! We have plenty. Come this way, I will show you. Don't worry about your luggage. " He said.
I took Ahana's hand and together we followed Derek. He opened one of the rooms.
" Here... Have a look. If you want I can show you the other ones. "
Ahana got in first. And before I could comment anything she spoke.
" We will take this one. It's nice, cozy and warm. Anyways we are only going to stay here for a few hours. Isn't it?" She was asking me while she already had passed the judgement.
All I did was to nod. Derek left.
Ahana laid on the bed and I covered her up taking her in my hands.
" Ansh!! What are you doing? " She asked.
" Hey!! I am sorry... Because of me... " But before I could complete she put her finger on my lips.
" It's fun... And I like this Inn. We must have such adventures..." She said. I smiled and moved towards her lips.
But someone knocked.
" God!! It's four in the early morning and still I am not able to kiss my wife." I cursed.
" Sshh!! It must be Derek. And he's a really good man... " Ahana said.
" I know... " Saying so I went to open the door.
" Hi!! Sorry to Disturb you at Four. But I brought you your luggage and some warm blankets along with hot water bags. Your wife might need it. I will switch on the heater too. " He said all in a go.
So he heard it. He came in and placed the things at a corner handing me the water bags.
" Derek... Thanks a lot for this. Sorry for troubling you and Yeah! You didn't disturb. "
" No Problem... It's my job. "
I placed the water bag underneath Ahana's back.
" Ansh! That's a blessing for sure. I needed it. See, I told you this is better than any 5 - 7 star hotel. "
" Yup, Woman's Intuition is always better than a male's. "
I switched the lights off and got inside the blanket. It was really cold. I held Ahana's hand and she wrapped herself in my hands.
" Ansh! I am sorry for saying your surprise stupid." She whispered in my ears.
" Never mind. I know you were scared."
" No... I weren't. And anyways what's the use of your 8 pack abs when you can't protect me. It would be better if you had a family pack instead of these." She punched me in my stomach.
" Hey! What do you mean? I just don't know Karate. " I replied.
" So what? Even you ever scared. What if something had happened... " I didn't let her complete herself and crashed my lips on her making her silent. She gave in easily and I felt like I had kissed her after years. It was a strong and a much needed one. Making us warm in terrible cold atmosphere.
" Ahana!! Trust me... I won't let anything happen to you or to our angels. Never... At the cost of my life I will protect you. I was just worried...Okay!!" I said looking straight in her eyes.
" I know. And I trust you. So.. How are we going to that Resort? I forgot the name. " She said making me chuckle.
" It's Kakslauttanen Arctic Resorts. We can go by car or flight. You decide. "
" By Flight... I can't sit in the car for 11 hours." She said.
" Aye Aye Captain. " I said grabbing her closer and kissing her cheeks.
" Good Night. And don't trouble me. I am damn sleepy... " She whispered closing her eyes and engulfing in my chest.
Well, so was I.

AHANA'S POV
Day 5
" Hey!! Sleepy Head... Wake up or else we will miss our flight." I heard Ansh's voice.
I stretched a bit without even opening my eyes. I didn't want to get up.
" Hmmm... I am still sleepy!! And stop calling me that. "
" Fine!! We can stay here for a day if you want. But don't tell me if you aren't able to catch the Northern Lights. "
" Hey!! I wanna see them. I will get ready in 10..." I said jumping up straight.
" That's my girl!! " Ansh grinned. I think he knows all the tactics how to wake me up.
" Gosh!! It's cold.... " I said quickly wrapping the blanket around me and sitting on the bed.
" I know. It's only 4°C outside. I will make you warm..." He said coming closer to me and wrapping his hands around me.
He smells of soap and after shower.
" I can't believe that you had a shower in such a cold atmosphere. That too before me. " I said.
He snuggled near my neck and kissed me. I am sure he left a hickey there.
" The surprise isn't yet over. Also, the water is damn hot. I swear you are gonna enjoy it." He replied.
" Okay!! I am excited. Now let me go so that I can freshen up. It feels like ages since I had a good shower. Because of you we have been running from one place to another. " I said trying to get up but I was pulled back.
" What to do when your workaholic wife gives you only a week's vacation. Are you ready to extend it then... "
" No... We aren't doing that Ansh. " I quickly interrupted him.
" See... So, I wanna have my morning kiss."
" We already had one in the early morning. " I replied, chuckling.
" Cheater... " He said and before I would reply his lips had already captured mine.
Although it was 4°C outside I still felt hot with Ansh's touch. I had to give in his demanding kisses.
" Ansh!! We are getting late... " I said panting already.
" I don't mind. " He pecked me again. There was a change of position now. Ansh was on top of me and there was a layer of blanket between us.
" You are messing your clothes." I said. He had trapped me in between his hands.
" I don't mind..." He said again and kissed me once more.
" Fine!! But I don't want to miss the flight. Get off...." I said pushing him.
" Ohhkk... But after Shower do have a quick chat with Ma and others, Coz the place doesn't have WiFi and network, expect for the reception. For two days it will be only us and no interruption. I will get all my pending kisses later. Get ready quick and I will order the breakfast. " Ansh informed me.
I nodded and made my way to the bath. I was really curious about the resort now. No WiFi or Internet connection sounded a bit weird. I wonder where is that place.
As Ansh mentioned the water was hot and nice. I washed my hair and had a long shower.
" Ahana!! Quickly... How much more time? The breakfast is getting cold." Ansh called me.
" 5 minutes more..." I shouted back. Just then I realised that amongst the moment Ansh and I were sharing I forgot my clothes outside and Ansh is waiting for me. The room wasn't a suite since it was a Inn.
God!! Help me.
" Ansh! " I called him.
" Yeah!! What happened? It looks like you are in need of something..." He said in his typical tone.
I think he knows I forgot them outside and I am sure he is going to take advantage of this.
" Yup!! Can you pass me my clothes. " I said opening the door a bit and extending my hand.
" Oh!! Not so easily sweetheart. I won't get such chances again. Why don't you get it yourself." He said.
" Are you crazy!!! Pass me..." I shouted.
I had my bathing rob on and my hair were tied in another towel. The problem was that the rob was a bit too short.
" I am not... Anyways you have your rob on. Can't you come out? Did you forget that I am your husband... " Unbelievable, He was still talking.
Wait I will show him now.
"..... Or is that you are scared of me. Or you won't be able to control yourself... Ahana.... Ahana... What happe..." He was still jabbering and when I didn't answer he turned towards the bath.
" Ouch..." He shouted as he drank his hot coffee at once. I saw that he was dumbstruck.
" Ansh!! What happened?? Did something hit you? Was the coffee too hot or is someone else hot. " I said smirking. And pointing a finger towards me. He got up and came towards me.
I was standing in front of him, a bit wet only in my white bathing rob. It was for the first time that I had took such a bold step. Some of my hair strands were loose and dangling. Ansh and I were only inches apart. He pulled those strands behind and pulled me closer.
" God!! Ahana... Y-You are beautiful.. And seriously the coffee just burned my tongue but too... "
" Ansh!! Don't say anyt..."
" Sshhh..." He shushed me.
Slowly he unwrapped the towel from my head and at once all my hair fell down. He covered them up and was helping me dry them. I sat on the bed and he kneeled down. His hands were still on my head.
" Ansh! You don't... " But before I could complete myself his lips had already captured mine. My hand automatically found his silky hair and we were lost once again. A light moan escaped my lips.
" Ahana... I love you..." He said between the kisses. It was after a long time after he confessed his love he said it again.
" I-I love you too..." I replied.
I opened my eyes and our eyes met. He smiled and kissed me on my nose trailing again towards my Jaws. His hand was around my waist as I felt him undoing the knot of my rob.
" Excuse me..." We stopped suddenly when someone knocked. Ansh looked at me and I couldn't deny that I was red.
" It's me... Derek..."
" God!! After Jaai... I am gonna kill Derek too. " Ansh cursed.
" Good he came or else we would miss our flight..." I said pushing Ansh away and grabbing my clothes.
" Arrghh..... " He cursed again.
I grabbed him before he could open the door and kissed his cheeks.
" I think we still have two days..." I said. At once Ansh's face lit up.
He opened the door while I went inside the bathroom.
When I returned I was surprised that all our bags were already packed.
" Ahana!! Derek came with some of Helsinki's famous delicacies. I have packed our stuff so we can leave after breakfast." I nodded and we enjoyed the breakfast.
In half hour we Bade a goodbye to Derek. He was a nice man and Ansh felt a good tip too.
He was actually feeling guilty to judge him earlier. We also had a brief FaceTime Chat with everyone, from Jaai-Zara to Ma and both Dads and grandads. We even had a talk with Mir and Piya. Kyle had grown to be a cute boy.
Jaai and Zara had returned from Sydney and they going to get married soon.
We headed straight to the airport for our flight to Ivalo.
From Ivalo Ansh informed me that we could go by car and it's a 30 minute drive. He had already rented one.
The 90 minute flight was a blessing as I completed my pending sleep there. I was surprised that Ansh was so energetic despite he didn't sleep much.
" Ahana... We have reached Ivalo. Our car is waiting. Make sure you wear your thermals. It's cold and it snowed last night here." Ansh said helping me get into my jacket.
We had already packed beforehand.
As I stepped out of the airport it was indeed a beautiful sight. Kakslauttanen was in the Lapland Region. One of the Finland's most visited area.
Lapland is a vast geographical area laying in the northern most part of the Scandinavia spreading to the area of the four different countries: Finland, Russia, Norway and Sweden. It is the magnificent land of fells, reindeers and Northern Lights.
" So... How does it feel to be in the hometown of Santa Claus?" Ansh asked.
I looked at him in awe.
" Seriously?"
" Don't tell me you weren't aware..."
" Well, I wasn't..." I replied.
" No Probs... C'mon let's go now. The car is waiting." Ansh said pulling me outside.
It was chilling. Thankfully I was in a woollen cap and a matching sweater and blue jeans and long boots. Ansh was also full covered with a warm blue jacket and black jeans.
The resort was a 30 minute ride from the airport. We were warmly welcomed by the staff.
" Ansh!! Where are we going?" I was curious when Ansh and I were escorted in a sledge.
" Patience!!" is all he said.
A while later the sight which was in front of me was amazing.
" Wow!!"
" I know it's Beautiful..." Ansh said holding my hand and together we went inside the Igloo.
Yeah!! It was a Glass Igloo.
Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort was famous for its Glass Igloos.
" Ansh!! This is so wonderful." I said as the staff put our bags. They also gave us a itinerary for our stay.
" Welcome to Kelo Glass Igloo. We are currently in the west side of the resort. They are the newly built ones and also have sauna for your refreshment. There is fireplace, kitchenette and a bedroom with a stunning northern lights glass igloo roof. Do you like it? " Ansh asked me.
" I love it... It's Awesome... " I said looking around the place.
From the glass roof the clear sky was easily visible. It was already late evening now. The distant Igloos could be seen from the windows and there was snow covered over them. But luckily the sky was clear and we had a higher chance of catching the Aurora.
" Good to hear that. Now you can freshen up and then take a look at the itinerary and decide what you want to do. Since we are only here for a two days we won't be able to do everything." Ansh said handing me the list.
I made a face.
" We can extend our stay... "
" No... It's fine. Anyways, I won't be able to do the sports. " I said.
" Not to worry. I won't bore you. Now go on and freshen up so we can take a walk around and then the dinner is at the main restaurant. Later at night we are going for Snow Mobile Safari where we can get a look at the Auroras. Sometime they even arrange a Bonfire Night with Marshmallows. "
" Sounds Interesting..." I said.
As planned we had a long walk in the snow and had delicious dinner. It felt so good and warm. We went on to the late night safari and got the chance to see the spectacular Aurora.
The sky was filled with green, a hue of red and violent colours. I held Ansh's hand and together we savoured the amazing experience. It was an elegant dance show of lights. A beautiful phenomenon of nature. A constant smile was plastered on my face till we reached our Igloo. We also clicked a lot of pictures.
We enjoyed the Bonfire too since it wasn't snowing. There were a lot of people from different corners of the world and it was amazing to know them.
" Ahana! It's not over yet. Change in something comfortable..." Ansh said as we entered our room. It was warm.
A while later we both were in our night wear we climbed on the bed and the sky still had the colours adorned.
The room was very warm compared to the outer space.
" Ansh!! What's in that? " I pointed to a small bag which was lying beside him.
" SURPRISE!!"
" Show me..." I shouted. Getting on top of him. Suddenly there was a change of colour in the sky. I stopped where I was.
" Wow!!" I said unconsciously. The glass roof gave us a clear view of the Auroras.
They looked enticing and bewitching through the glass above us.
While I was gaping at the zenith Ansh pulled me quickly and covered us.
" What?" I said.
He wrapped his arms around me. We were staring at the sky which was changing its colours.
" Ahana!! I love you..."
I looked at him and smiled.
" I know...." I said winking.
" That's it!!" He said looking upset.
" Huh!! So what am I supposed to say?"
" Ahana!!" He said and was tickling me.
" Hey! Stopp! I love you too... Ansh... Stop.. " I was laughing uncontrollably.
He stopped and quickly kissed me.
" Thanks for not abandoning me." He said.
" You're Welcome..." I said.
" Ahana.. I want to give you something."
" What?" I said looking at him.
" Here... " He said pulling the bag which was lying beside him.
" I wanted to give you this long back." I was silent. He removed a box.
" It's our wedding gift. " He said.
" Like our Anniversary? " I asked.
" Nope!! I wanted to make you wear this on our first night... But, Never mind..." He said and opened the box.
There were two platinum bands, on that there was a sweet little heart made with diamonds.
" Ansh!! I think we already are wearing them." I said, showing my left hand.
" That's on the left Ahana! I will make you wear this on right. " He pulling me right hand.
" That's insane Ansh..." I said laughing.
" No.. It isn't... This means that from left to right you are mine and from left to right I am yours."
" Ansh!! This isn't necessary. I am all yours in all forms and format. "
" Ahana Are you ignoring my gift." He said making a puppy face.
I don't want to upset him.
" Fine!! I love it... " I said kissing him.
" Really!! " I nodded.
Ansh quickly slipped the ring on the ring finger of my right hand. I returned the gesture.
" Well, It's beautiful... " I said looking at the ring.
" TY!! Now, This one is your last Valentine's Gift... Every girl wants their guy to give them. " Ansh said handing me a box.
" We can also wear this as a necklace..." I suggested.
" Let's decide that later.. "
I was surprised when he handed me another box. What was happening?
" Stop gapping at me. I had already bought it that time, when we were in Switzerland last year but I couldn't give it. "
I opened it. It was a Swarovski Anklet. It was delicate yet amazingly beautiful and stunning.
" You like it?"
" Of course... It's gorgeous..."
" Let me put it on your leg. Right or left?" He asked.
" Here, the right one's near you. Anyways Ansh, you don't need to pamper me with all these stuff. You have already impressed me. You have a good taste. " I said.
" You doubt it. And You said that too early sweetie. There's still more to come." He said putting his hand in the bag again.
That little bag seems to be full of surprises.
" Here, you forgot your B'day gift. Remember, you threw it on my face that day."
" Yeah!! Two wonderful earrings along with a necklace. " I laughed recalling that fight.
" Hmmm... So it belongs to you. It was in my possession from a long time."
" And you brought it all the way to Finland. "
" Of course, you had to accept it here. Anyways your ears were empty when we came here. So Let me put it on. " He said.
We were only a few inches apart.
" Ansh!! Anything else. You have covered me already with jewellery. I don't have a habit of wearing it. "
" Ha!! But it's still not done yet. And more over, I wanted to make sure that form left to right and from top to bottom, You Are Only Mine... Only Mine.." I looked at him when he said that.
" But I don't have anything to give you. You always... " I stopped.
"..... Ruined it.. Right? " He looked dejected.
" No!! I didn't mean it. "
" It's Okay!! I know. But I have changed. And that's what you have done to me." He said.
" And, you are giving me our angels. That's the best present ever. I'm just making up to you. " I kissed him quickly as he said that. I was about to cry now. This was too much to take in.
" Don't cry now Ahana! I always make you cry!! I still have our 1st Anniversary gift pending. But I have only a part of it here."
I remained silent the entire time.
He removed a small rectangle thing covered in paper. I opened it, I was excited.
I was awestruck. It was a portrait of Ansh and me. It was our wedding day. It was the best picture of us together.
Ansh's perfect smile.
" And your perfect dimples. Here look..."
We good genuinely happy, together.
He started a video in his phone.
" That's our room..." I said spontaneously.
The rear empty wall which looked bland and pale always was beautifully decorated with our portraits. From our wedding till Piya's baby shower where Ansh had asked the photographer to click our candid. It looked so colourful now.
" Hi!! Ahana! Hope you liked Ansh's surprise. BTW, the video credits goes to me. Bye! Enjoy your time. See you soon."
" Dad!! He never leaves a stone upturned. I asked him to only send me the video not to feature himself in." Ansh said keeping his cell on standby.
" Ansh!! He is so sweet and more over he loves us. I loved it. Thanks. Now that typical boring Ansh's room looks so pretty. " I said going closer to him.
" Ahana, You know how the Valentines Day turned out for us this year. "
I nodded the memories flooding back.
" But, you know what it turned out to the best. We confessed... " I wanted to cheer him up.
" I planned something for you but couldn't do that. So, I'm making up now." He pulled out another bag.
" No.. I am not accepting anymore jewellery. Enough..."
" Have a look at least. "
And as soon as he removed it I was flabbergasted.
" See, Never Judge me before hand. I enjoy to prove people wrong. "
" You surely do. But how in the earth are you sure that one of them is definitely girl. " I said looking at a beautiful baby pink princess frocks. There was also a matching bow along with it.
" I am not sure but I even have this... " He removed a cute little blue shirt from the bag. And they were two in number.
" You never know. I was very confused. So I brought two tiny shirts and two frocks." He said.
" When?"
" I have all the time in the world. Did you like it? "
" Of course... And along with this you even brought these clothes for the babies." I said in awe looking at a plethora of clothes lying in front of me. They were so small that they could be easily fit in a small bag.
" Hmmm.. We are expecting them in two and a half months Ahana. We need to ready. "
" But we could buy this from Mumbai also."
" But I wanted to surprise you. Now don't spoil the mood and enjoy the Auroras. You have ignored them since I started with this gifts ceremony. " I was laughing when he said that.
A while later we put all the things back to their place and slept together looking at the dancing colours in the sky.
" Ansh, I am so happy... It feels so good to be with you. Thanks... " I said looking in his eyes.
" Thanks to you for loving me and making me the happiest man on the planet. I know it's a clichéd line but still I won't mind."
We were both looking at each other.
I took his hand and kept it on my swollen belly. At once I felt the jerk.
We both laughed together.
" Ahana!! I swear it has to be a girl. She loves me so much... " Ansh looked so happy. And I felt complete looking at him.
" But it can be a overprotective boy too." As soon as I said that one was them kicked again.
" It can be..." Ansh said looking serious.
" I hope you are Okay Ahana... Are you hurt? " He asked with so much care.
" I am fine Ansh. It's the best feeling and I regret you can't feel it. It feels good when one of them kicks me. It makes me feel like they are with us all the time. I am so happy. All the three of you complete me
Ansh!! Why you looking so worried? " I said after Ansh didn't answer me. I felt like something was bothering him.
" I want to tell you something. "
" I want to tell you something. " We both said together.
" First You... " I said.
"Ladies First..."
" Fine!! I Love You Ansh!!" I said kissing him hard.
" I love you more than you think I do... Ahana!!" He replied taking me in his arms.
" Are you sure that's what you wanted to say?" I asked.
" Hmmm.... And I want to kiss you the whole night under this colourful sky as I can't have enough of you..." He said and together we shared the moment.
Our breaths intermingled and Ansh pulled the cover over us. His kisses become more demanding and I felt like I was in a Paradise.
It was indeed a Paradise... I never have been to one but this was MY PARADISE.

Day 6
We woke up around 10 because it was so hard to get up in cold. After breakfast, We enjoyed the The Frozen Lake. The kids were doing sledging. We couldn't do skiing but we definitely experienced the Husky Safari. On contrary to their appearance they were eager and amiable dogs.
No wonder why Ansh stayed 3 meters away from them while I clicked lot of pictures.
We even picked up blueberries, lingonberries and cloudberries as well as bolete and matsutake mushrooms which were grown there.
Ansh liked fishing so I had to accompany him to go ice fishing on Inarinjärvi.
Which was compensated by him accompanying me to a church in the wilderness, at Pielpajärvi, and then on to the museum of the Sami people at Siida. We went on the snow mobiles. It was enthralling.
We had a flight back that late night.
Sauna and Finland are inseparably linked. For relaxation, nothing in the world beats a sauna, which is why each Kakslauttanen chalet has its own electric sauna. Ansh and I enjoyed the afternoon having Sauna and relaxing.
In the evening we witnessed the Auroras again as we were about to leave. Elegant and magnificent as they are.
" Ansh! Thanks You... This was one of the most beautiful moments of my life."
" Ahana... You are the best moment that happened to me... I love you..." He kissed me passionately.
" I love you too..."
