Yesterday I finally went to Shortys house and tried to apologize. But she wasn't there . It's the middle of the day and it's summer . Not to mention she's a hermit she's always at home , so why isn't she now ?
Its been a while since I've been outside . It was nice to get some fresh air . Although my arms were still stinging from the pain of cutting myself. I started to walk around the city and I bumped into someone.
" Oh hey there Fire boy "
I looked up " Dareth ? "
" the one and only "
" hey ......."
" You seem blue , even if you are wearing lots of red , I guess that makes you .... purple . " ( hey , dumb puns for Dareth )
" Yea , I guess ....."
" Maybe I can cheer you up "He then threw his arm around my shoulder and walked to a cafe .
" This is it Fire boy "

" True , but Fire Boy has a nice ring to it "
" A cafe ? "
" A Maid Cafe , we have the best customer care "

".......... Fine " I finally agreed and walked in after him and was instantly greeted by a cute girl in a maid costume .
" Hello Master , how may I serve you today?"
" My buddy here needs some special treatment " Dareth threw his arm around my shoulder " his girlfriend dumped him "
" I'm so sorry Master , don't worry we will treat you well , please come with me " the girl grabbed my hand . I felt kinda ridiculous coming in here . Especially since some girl o don't even know is calling me Master , it's just weird. Try to apologize to a girl and this is what I get dragged into ? Yay me *sarcasm*
" Just a second Master , I will be right back " the girl showed me to my table and quickly ran off .
Yea, these girls are cute and all but big deal . I heived a sigh when someone caught my eye . A girl in a Maid costume of course with Shortys hair color. Hum.... no way , it couldn't be her . She wouldn't even take a step into a place like this .
She was carrying a platter with a Strawberry milkshake on it and walked over to a table with a red headed guy .
" Here you go Master , I apologize for the wait . " she sounds like Shorty .
" No problem, after all absence makes the heart grow fonder " the guy smirked . Shesh , this guy is worse than me . "And what did I say about you just calling me Master ? Hum?" well im guessing that he's been here before.
" I'm sorry Master Kyle " she sounds like Shorty again. Apparently I missed her a lot more than I thought I did . I keep hearing her voice .
" I am happy to see you again of course , but dating one of " my maids " , I'm not sure if I can let that slide or not , what do you think Sweetie ? " this guy really plays the part .
" We aren't dating Master Kyle " she giggled.
" Not yet " hum , he's pretty good .
Thats when the girl that lead me in walked upto the girl who sounded like Shorty and whispered something in her ear . She nodded as the other girl walked away .
I decided to stop staring at that girl because it's kinda freaky . My hood was on and my hands were buried in my pockets . I looked down at the menu that was neatly placed on the table .
" Hello Master , what can I get you today ?" It was the girl who sounded like Shorty .
Still looking down I replied " I guess I will just have some coffee "
"........... Yes Master ......." that tone of voice. She really does sound like her ! I started to look up but before I saw her face she was already heading to the kitchen .
A few minutes passed by and then ...
" Here you go Master ,please enjo- ?! "
I had lifted my head up to look at her and that's when I saw her face .
" ( Y-y/n ) ?! "
" Kai ?! "
" What are you doing here ?! " both of us shouted at the same time .
" I'm working! Got a problem with that ?! "
" You work here ?! "
" Obviously Flame brain ! Now why are you here ?! "
" Your manager wanted me to come , what's with the ridiculous outfit? "
" It's my uniform! "
" it's kinda short isn't it ? "
" Pervert ! "
" (Y/n ) that's not how we treat our customers " Dareth cut in .
" Yes of course Mr. Dareth "
" .......... Thanks for the coffee Shorty "
" Your welcome Ka-"
" What was that ? What do we call our customers? " Dareth was strict .
" Your welcome Master " she said through gritted teeth. Apparently she's still mad . " Is there anything else I can get you ? "
" Yes there is actually "
" How can I serve you ? "
" I want your time , sit down please "
" I'm sorry Master but "
" Your Master has asked you to do something don't you have to obey ? " I smirked .
" Your so funny Master " she was slowly getting irritated.
" ( Y/ n ) do as he said , this guy is my buddy and I want him to get the best Maid Cafe experience "
" Yes Mr. Dareth " she sighed and plopped down in the chair across from me .
" who's the red head ? "
" None of your business Kai ! "
" He seems to like you "
" Why do you care ?! "
" I don't ! "
" then don't butt into my business! " same old attitude as always, that's my shorty .

" I thought I was Master ?"
She glared at me . " Everything but that ."
" Listen ! You didn't even let me explain! "
" Oh you don't have to ( teenage celebrity name ) told everyone. " she started to mimic her voice." Kai Smith and I were apart of forbidden love , yes I knew he was dating someone but he said that he loved me more and that he would break up with her . And he kept his promise , we make a great couple don't you think ?! "
" No ! Not at all (y/n ) I -"
" Oh (y/n ) , I need a refill " the red head across the room shouted .
" Coming Master Kyle ! " she then quickly ran over to his table .
" I think I would like Dessert , anything you would recommend? "
" Strawberry short cake perhaps? It is on sale today Master Kyle "
" Sounds wonderful " He then looked at me and smirked . He did that on purpose! Just to get (y/n ) away from me ! The Jerk !
A few minutes later Shorty came back and handed him his dessert .
" There you go Master "
" Master ? "
" I'm sorry , Master Kyle "
" Much better , but .... I want one more thing" looking in my direction again he smirked and grabbed onto (y/n)s arm .
Then he pulled her down to his level and kissed her cheek ! I was furious ! Even though she isn't mine anymore he's not allowed to touch her !
" Thank you , I now allow you to do your job but don't forget my goodbye kiss when I pay the bill . "
" Y-yes Master Kyle "
we sat there glaring at each other until he decided to leave and drop a napkin on the floor near me as he walked by .
I picked it up and read : Karma is a *itch , isn't it ?
