--At the mall--
*Maya's POV*
There's something off about Casey..I know she just got here, but I don't know..
I feel hands over my eyes. "Guess who?"
"Let's get shopping, SALEX," I giggle, as she releases her hands. "Hey, Cas--it's ok if I call you that, right?"
"Hey, Maya--it's fine," she greets me.
"So where should we go first..?" Sara asks us,
"Well let's get out gifts first," Maya suggests. "Cas, what're you getting Claire..?"
"I don't know--maybe just a friendship bracelet," Casey shrugs.
"You're getting her Sab merch right?" Sara asks me.
I nod," And nail polish right?"
She nods.
"Can you guys show me where I can get friendship bracelets..?" Casey asks us.
"I think they're by the..cosmetics and makeup stuff," I read off the map.
"Perfect. Maya, you can go pick out some outfits for us--and I can show Cas the bracelets, and I can get some nail polish," Sara suggests.
I nod in agreement, as Cas smiles..she looks mesmerized--no, she isn't..she doesn't look like it..nah. Cas isn't..
*Casey's POV*
I can't help, but look at Sara, she's so freaking pretty! Ah her eyes and hair--Alex is so lucky..
"Let's go, girls!" Maya cheers, as we all link arms. Maya links her left arm with Sara's right arm, while Sara's linking her arm to our left arms, while I link my right arm to Sara's left arm.
We break apart as we get to the little booths.
"See you guys!" Maya waves, as she walks into Forever 21.
Sara turns to the cosmetics, and then I grab her hand. Great move, Casey.
"Do you mind helping me decide what to buy..?" I ask her, as I still grasp on her hand.
"Uh, sure," she nervously answers, as she she faces me.
"Sorry," I let go of her hand.
"It's fine," she says, guiding me to a booth.
*Sara's POV*
Well..awkward. I guess she just really wants some company.
"Hello, where can we get friendship bracelets..?" Sara asks the person at "Percy's Bracelets".
"Uh, Sara," I point out the title of the booth.
"Ohh well, in that case--we'd like 1 friendship bracelet," Sara tells the guy.
"Would you like to engrave the person's name in this one," the guy says, bringing out a Reed's.
I nod. "Can you please engrave "Claire"..?"
He nods, taking the bracelet to the back.
"And Percy, can you engrave another bracelet as well..?" Sara says, getting out a bracelet from her purse.
He turns to Sara. "Which name..?"
"Alex," she says.
He nods, taking that back also.
"You have a thing for Mr. Aiono..?" Casey asks.
I start to blush,"..it's complicated.."
--A few minutes later--
"Here you go," Percy hands our bracelets back. "That'll be $20--for 2 bracelets."
I dig through my wallet. "Aww man, I don't have $10."
"It's fine, I can pay for both," Casey offers.
"No, Cas--it's--" I try to excuse her, but she already gave her $20 bill.
"Thanks, ladies," Percy waves.
We walk off to Forever 21.
"You know I could've just told him to discard..?" I ask Casey.
"I mean you want to give it to Alex--it's sweet, I didn't wanna be the reason to--"
"Oh well thanks, Casey. I definitely owe you one," I chuckle.
"Guys, I got the perfect outfits for you two," Maya greets, as we walk to her.
"Ooh nice outfit, sis!" I compliment her dress.
Maya takes a picture:
"Maya, don't tell me that you're posting that?" I ask.
"Nah, I'll send it to you guys," Maya scoffs.
"Ok.." I reluctantly agree.
Why do I have a feeling she's gonna send it to Alex..
*Alex's POV*
Since I already got Claire's present ready..I never really got anything for Sara for our 2 month anniversary--I bet she already has something.. Maybe a necklace would work
--At the mall--
Percy's Bracelets. Seems pretty good.
"Hi, can I get a necklace engraved with,"Sara," I request Percy.
"Oh, you're the Alex!" He gasps, taking out a variety of necklaces.
"What..?" I ask him.
"Two girls were just here a few minutes ago--one of 'em asked for a bracelet engraved with "Alex"," he says, in quotes.
"Wait--long black hair with a beautiful smile..?" I ask him.
He nods. "And here you go," he hands me the necklace.
"Wait but how do you know it's Sara..?" I ask him.
Gosh, he's like a stalker--HANK.
"I have an eagle's hearing," he chuckles.
I nod with a reluctant smile and walk off.
--5:30--
BUZZ--
Henry: u done shopping yet bro?
Me: yeah
Henry: Maya just txted--they're at the mall too
Me: should I get them..?
Henry: I'll just tell them to come outside
I go outside to the parking lot to see Maya, Sara, and..Casey waiting. I sneak up behind them.
"Boo," I whisper in Sara's ear.
"Ah!" Sara shouts, turning behind me. "I should've known..."
"Next time you better keep your eyes wide open," I joke.
"Why do I have a feeling you did that on purpose..?" Sara jokes back.
"Maybe I did, maybe I did that's the question--or was it a mirage...?" I chuckle.
"Gosh, I guess you can't blame Salex for trying..?" Maya chimes in with a giggle.
"Omg, that sound so dirty, Maya," Sara gags.
"Maya, stop," I add to Sara.
"Aww," Maya awes.
"Um, hi.." Casey greets me.
"Oh yeahh--Alex, this is Casey," Maya introduces Casey. "And Casey, Alex--from CS."
"Hey," I awkwardly say.
"Wait, are you and Sara like a thing..?" Casey asks, confused.
Sara and I nod.
"It's been going on awhile--but it's a secret," Maya says, putting her finger over her lip.
"Hey, guys. Who's ready for New York City?!" Henry says, opening the window.
Maya, Sara, and Casey exchange smiles.
*Casey's POV*
So Sara and Alex are really a thing..hopefully my crush isn't that big.
"Here you go, ladies," Alex opens the door for us.
"Thanks, Ali," Sara giggles, as she sits in the left side.
"Thanks, Alex," Maya says, sitting next to Henry in the passenger seat.
Of course.
"Actually you can sit next to Sara," I offer.
"Really..? I thought you'd--"
"Nah, it's fine--just a seat," I scoff, as I let him go.
He nods, as he sits next to Sara.
And I end up sitting next to Alex..
