It's late in the night. Several people in black clothes were scattered throughout the beach where the fight took place earlier. Some were analyzing the destruction that was left while others were on a look out for any civilians that would come too close to the area. Most of the them had large flashlights to see through the dark. Erica stands in front of a dead body that had been covered by a blanket. She bends down and lifts the blanket to see that it was the masked man. Her face showed no emotions as she covers the body. A fellow male Agent wearing sunglasses comes to her side.
Male Agent: Any normal person would shed even the slightest of tear.
Erica: Cut the jokes. I'm not in the mood.
Male Agent: I'm just saying that despite what he has put you through, he still raised you.
Erica: Look, I know, alright? Yes, I am thankful for what he has done for me but there are some things that I will never let go. Even if he ends up dead. Besides, my friend nearly died because of his Servant.
Male Agent: Sigh. Fine. I won't meddle any further. Just say your good byes and be done with it.
The Agent gives Erica a single rose, which she takes.
Erica: Don't try and act cool. It doesn't suit you.
Male Agent: My, aren't we a little harsh today.
Erica: And who wears sunglasses at night anyway?
Male Agent: You clearly know the reason why I have to wear these.
Erica: I was joking. Don't worry about it.
Male Agent: You didn't look like you were joking.
Erica stares at the lifeless body for a moment before casually dropping the rose on it.
Erica: Good bye, father.
After saying that, Erica turns around and leaves. Her fellow Agent follows her and walks by her side.
Male Agent: What are your plans now?
Erica: I've been given an assignment and I have three days to finish it.
Male Agent: Mind if I tag along? My next mission ain't coming for a couple of weeks.
Erica: Yeah, sure. I could use you as a human shield.
Male Agent: S-Shield? You're joking...right?
Erica doesn't say anything but grins mischievously at him.
Male Agent: Wait, you are joking, right? Right? Erica...?
Meanwhile, Jun and Zerra were still following Setsuko, Neo's Servant. They had already reached the residential part of the city. While Setsuko was leading the way, Jun notice that Zerra was still glaring suspiciously at her.
Jun: Will you cut it out already? (looks at Zerra)
Zerra: You might trust her but I'll never let my guard down.
Jun: Sigh. If she really was planning on betraying us, don't you think that it should have happened already?
Zerra: Master, you're too trusting. That attitude of yours will get you killed one day.
Jun: W-What's wrong with trusting people?
Zerra: Your way of thinking is abnormal! You should learn to be cautious!
Jun: I am cautious!
Setsuko stops walking and turns to the two.
Setsuko: Lovebirds, we're here. You're going to wake up the entire neighborhood with your little quarrel.
Both Jun and Zerra blushes from Setsuko's remark.
Zerra: S-Shut up! Who the hell are you calling "lovebirds"?!
Setsuko: We're here.
Jun: Here?
Jun looks to his right to see that they were standing in front of a large gate with an even larger house inside. Even though it was a big house, only a few lights were on.
Jun: Is Neo inside? (looks at Setsuko)
The Servant didn't answer and disappears instead. Zerra shows an annoyed expression on her face.
Zerra: What the hell is her problem? Now she's just being plain rude!
Jun: Forget about it. Let's just go inside. I...I really need to rest.
Zerra: Oh, yeah. Sure. (nods)
Zerra opens the gate as both of them goes toward the front door. She was about to grab the door handle when it opens by itself. Standing opposite to them was Nia, Neo's sister. She was still acting shy and was partially hiding behind the opened door. Instead of her usual uniform, she was wearing civilian clothes with a skirt and an apron over it.
Jun: Nia....?
Nia: H-Hello....Please, come in. M-My brother is waiting.
Jun: Right.
Jun and Zerra enters as Nia close the door behind them. She then leads the two into the kitchen at the back of the house. There, they find Neo, who was enjoying a cup of tea on a table. He too was wearing casual clothes. Nia immediately goes to the countertop and starts making more tea.
Neo: Jun, Zerra. Make yourself at home.
Jun: Neo....
Neo: Take a seat. I'm sure you have some questions for me.
Zerra takes Jun to where Neo was and let him take a seat opposite of him. She then sits next to Jun.
Neo: Judging from the way you look, I'm guessing something happened.
Jun: Yeah, something like that.
Neo: We'll get to that but for now, why not take this time to relax? I'm sure you need it.
Jun: R-Right.
Nia goes to the table and hands their guest two cups of tea. She takes a seat besides her brother. After drinking their tea, Jun explained the evens that took place at the beach. Neo takes a sip at his own tea before he continue the conversation.
Neo: I see. So a Master ambushed you. Not only that, you finally got to met Valerie herself.
Jun: Yeah. But unlike the time you fought her, we didn't really get to see anything from her. Her Servant did most of the work.
Neo: Speaking of that, we weren't able to take a good look at her Servant. But you did.
Jun: He...was strong. Too strong for Zerra to handle.
Zerra: As much as I hate to admit it, her Servant was indeed strong.
Neo: I see. I'm glad that I instructed Setsuko to scout around that area.
Jun: Setsuko? Your Servant?
Neo: Oh, that's right. You haven't been properly introduced to my Servant yet.
Jun: No. We didn't get the chance.
Neo: Well, too be honest, she really doesn't like the fact that we're teaming up. She's been in a bad mood ever since.
Zerra: Hmp! If she doesn't like us then who cares about her?
Jun: Ummm, you know Zerra, I'm beginning to notice that you just plain hate her.
Zerra: Of course! That rude attitude of hers makes my blood boil!
Neo gives a short chuckle.
Neo: Fire and ice really doesn't mix, huh?
Jun: Sigh. You can say that again.
Neo: Despite her attitude, Setsuko has no intentions of betraying any of you. I'm her Master and I have a deep trust for her.
Jun: If you say so. I trust you as well, Neo.
Neo: Glad to hear that. (smiles)
Nia leaves the table and goes to the back of the kitchen. She takes a small container from the shelves before returning to her seat. Neo shows a surprise look on his face.
Neo: You're giving them that?
Nia was too shy to say anything. She merely nods with a blushing face as a reply.
Jun: What's going on?
Neo: Oh, it's nothing really. I was just surprise that she wanted to share them with you.
Jun: "Them"?
Nia opens the container to reveal the cookies inside. Zerra couldn't help but drool a little from seeing them.
Jun: Cookies?
Neo: Nia loves to bake stuff. When we're not fighting other Masters, she can usually be found here in the kitchen. You could say it's a hobby of hers.
Jun: I see. They do look good.
Neo: Don't be shy and help yourself.
Jun takes two while Zerra takes more than five. They enjoy the treat while drinking their tea.
Neo: I'm glad that Nia is starting to open up to people. In the past, she wouldn't let anyone else go near her except for me. To see that she was willing to share something to other people was something I never thought I'd see.
Jun: That's really nice. Thanks, Nia. (looks at Nia)
Again, Nia only blushes but nods a a reply. Neo proudly pats her sister on the head.
Neo: I believe it just proves that she trust you two.
Jun: By the way, is this where you two have been living?
Neo: Yes. We've moved here long before the Holy Grail War started. We had to prepare ourselves since at that time, it has been only three days since we summoned out Servant.
Jun: Did you buy it or something?
Neo: Yes but more specifically, we bought the land and then built the house later on.
Jun: I see. I'm guessing that you're family is rich huh?
Neo: You could say that. The Everstone has been around for generations.
Neo notice that his sister keeps on glancing at the clock on the wall. Neo looks at it to see that it was already seven.
Neo: Why don't you two stay for dinner? I'm sure you're pretty hunger after what you've been through.
Jun: Really?
Neo: Nia might be too shy to say it but she'd love for you two to join us. In fact, she's the one who'll be making dinner tonight.
Jun: Well, if it isn't too much trouble, we'll take your offer. Right, Zerra?
Zerra had the expression that she couldn't agree with Jun. She was about to say something when her stomach rumbles loudly, much to her embarrassment. She tries to act calm but her blushing face gives it away.
Zerra: F-Fine. If Jun insists.
Hearing that the two were staying for dinner, Nia couldn't help but look excited about it. She doesn't waste time and goes back to the kitchen area and starts preparing dinner.
Zerra: Is it alright if I lend a hand? (looks at Neo)
Neo: Go right ahead.
Zerra leaves her seat and joins Nia.
Neo: Now, how about we have a little chat? (looks at Jun)
Jun: Huh? Sure but about what?
Neo: You did something reckless, didn't you?
Jun: Y-You can tell?
Neo: I can sense that you're almost depleted of mana. That's really dangerous Jun. What's more, you weren't even ready when you summoned that thing. You could have gotten yourself killed.
Jun: I...I know. It was stupid of me to think of something like that. My emotions got the better of me.
Neo: Well, as long as you understand and won't do something again.
Jun: R-Right...(murmurs)
Meanwhile, in an unknown location. Valerie's Servant throws Mandy in a room resembling a prison cell. She slowly get on her feet while the Servant and Valerie herself joins the little blonde girl in the room. She keeps her distance away from her kidnappers.
Mandy: What the hell do you want?!
Valerie: I told you that my objective was you. Now that you're here, I want you to join me.
Mandy: Tsk. You must be crazy, bitch.
In a blink of an eye, her Servant close the gap between him and Mandy within seconds. he delivers a powerful punch to the girl's stomach. She kneels down before coughing out blood.
White Haired Servant: You better watch your tongue before I rip it out, brat.
Valerie: I think there has been a misunderstanding, little Servant. I wasn't asking you, I was ordering you.
Mandy holds her stomach in pain but despite that, she cockily shows a grin.
Mandy: Y-You idiot. You won't get the chance to use me anyway. Without m-my Master, I'll disappear myself. With no one replenishing me with mana, I'll die....(coughs)
Valerie: True. But my Servant doesn't agree.
Mandy: W-What....?
Valerie: Victor, do it. (looks at Servant)
Her Servant grabs Mandy by her hair and pulls him up to his level.
Mandy: W-What the hell....are you doing...?! H-Hey..! Let me go...!!
She was struggling for a moment until she notice that the Servant's eyes were glowing red. When when he slightly open his mouth, it reveals that he had sharp fangs.
Mandy: V-Vampire....?
Valerie: That's right. Victor's identity is a Vampire. And I believe you know what happens to someone who gets bitten by one.
Mandy thinks for a moment and quickly comes to a conclusion.
Mandy: No...! That's impossible!
Valerie: It's one of his Noble Phantasm: Eternal Slave.
Mandy: T-That's cheating! A Servant can't have a Servant of it's own! It's against the rules!
Valerie: There's an exception for everything.
Mandy: NOOOOOO!!!!
Victor sinks his fangs into Mandy's neck. Mana particles discharges from Mandy as her body spasm uncontrollably. The emotionless Valerie watches as her Servant successfully turned Mandy into her ally.
Valerie: The Grail...is mine.
