"Who you texting now?" Mom comes into my room.
"Just Maya," I tell her.
"About?" Mom asks, raising her eyebrow.
"Crosby Scholars," I show her our conversation.
"Hm, when do--next weekend, right?" She asks.
"Yeah, we start next weekend," I nod.
"Wait, can't you start today?" She asks.
"Maya and I are gonna hang out today," I confess.
"For how long?" Mom asks.
"I'm not sure. Maybe..until 7 or 8?" I guess. "Why?"
"I know this is short notice, but your father and I have to go to Virginia for the weekend for Dylan's beyblade tournament thing," she rolls her eyes.
"Wait you guys are staying over night?" I ask her.
"Florida isn't right next door, dear," she jokes.
I nod.
"Enjoy your weekend with Maya," she shuts the door.
Maya: u still there?

Me: our girls' day has now turned into a girls' weekend!

"Sara, we're starting in a few minutes. Why don't you just ask Maya to pick you up right now?" I hear Mom yell.
Me: can u pick me up rn?

--DOORBELL RINGS--
"Sara--"
I run downstairs with my packed bag to greet my best friend.
"MAYA," I hug her.
"SARA," she says back, as she hugs me.
"Well honey, have a fun time with Maya," Mom says, shutting the door behind us.
I nod as Dad, her, and Dylan go off in the car.
"So what're we gonna do first?" I ask Maya.
"I know!" Maya giggles.
--At the mall--
"Maya, did you take me to the mall to try on stuff?" I groan.
"Oh, well let's go back then," Maya chuckles.
"Ooh, look at that. I've been wanting to buy new clothes for school," I say, picking up a striped shoulder top from the rack.
"That would look really cool on you, Sara," Maya compliments, smiling at the black hat she had on her head.
"And that hat looks so cute on you!" I smile at her.
"Aw, thanks!" I say, walking into the changing rooms to change into my outfit.
"Woah, my best friend looking fine!" Maya gasps.
"And so is my best friend!" I giggle.
"Let's go find some more things at--Forever 21!" Maya stutters, dragging me out of the Old Navy.
"Oh right we're in Concord Mills," I realize. "But Maya--"
"It's gonna close soon," she sounds a little intense. This is not Maya--or this doesn't sound like her. Why am I getting the vibe that she..oh no.
"Maya, can we stop at least for a second?" I ask her.
"Fine, I guess we can't always go to Forever 21," Maya playfully rolls her eyes.
"I know you think that we'll see Alex here--as much as I want--" I pause, looking in front of us.
OMG, it's Alex...
"And..?" Maya asks, looking at me, weirded out.
"Omg, fate.." I murmur.
"Aww, fate decided to do something after all," Maya coos, walking over there with me.
I nod with a smile.
"Are you gonna..?" Maya asks.
I nod. Ah, brings back that flashback from the Maryland show.
I run for a starting and jump on Alex's back. I cover his eyes with my hands. "Guess who, Martini?"
"I told you we'd see each other soon," he says.
"And fate clearly thinks of us as a favorite," I add.
He giggles, as I get off his back.
"Fate loves Salex," Alex rephrases, looking into my eyes.
I can already sense Maya's Salex Hart exploding.
"Wait..Henry?" Maya calls out, looking at..Henry next to Alex. Wow, I didn't notice him till..now.
"Yeah. Hey, Maya," he shrugs.
"So how's New York been?" Maya asks.
"Good, Charlotte?" He asks.
"Great. Except it's so cold outside now," Maya adds.
"Sab was right. I do have cold blood even in a sweater," I murmur.
"I gave you that leather jacket for a reason, Sari," Alex reminds me.
"Oh yeah, it's in my bag," I giggle.
"She carries it around everywhereee," Maya giggles.
I give Alex the "let's leave them alone" look and shrug. "Well we'll let you two catch up--you know since you guys haven't seen each other in a long time.."
"Sara, we can all just--" Maya tries to explain, but Alex cuts her off.
"No, Maya. We insist. Clearly you guys have some stuff to talk about," Alex adds.
"Well meet back here at 8?" Sara suggests.
"Sure," Maya nods.
"Ok, well see you at 8, Sissy," I wave to her with a smile. I mouth," You're welcome."
Hopefully that'll get Menry going...
*Henry's POV*
"So looks like you know this place way better than me. Where do you wanna go first?" I ask her. Hopefully, she won't say shopping.
"Um, well there is this cool simulator ride," she suggests.
"Ooh that sounds fun," I comment.
"Then let's go!" She grabs my wrist and drags me along with her.
*Alex's POV*
"Aww, Menry. But I still can't believe that Maya liked someone and never told me!" Sara bursts.
"Sari, did you tell Maya straight up about me?" I ask her.
"I guess you have a point," she agrees.
"So what does my Sari Bear wanna do first?" I ask her.
"I would go for a milkshake, but it's too soon for that," she giggles.
"And this is my favorite shirt," I look down at it.
She laughs. "You're so protective of your shirts."
"So you still haven't answered my question, Sar," I chuckle. "Where do you wanna go?"
"There is this big carousel in the back," Sara gives me the biggest smile.
"Let's go," I take her hand, walking over to the carousel.
