As they ran down the hall, a sudden thought collided into her head amidst the explosions that shook the building. How long has it been since Tsunade's inauguration?
She forgot about the Akatsuki.
"Oh. Oh god." Tamako grabbed her head, pacing behind Team 7, drawing their gazes.
Naruto tilted his head with confusion, a question on his lips. "What's wrong, dattebayo?"
"How long has it been since Tsunade-hime became the Hokage?"
Sakura grimaced, "Four months? Five when we get back. Why?"
"Oh. That's good." She still had time!
Tamako turned back to the mission, keeping in pace with the rest of the squad as they followed their protection detail.
Yukie was pretty fast for a civilian, it was a decent pace but Tamako had this unsettling feeling ever after she confirmed the date. There something wasn't right. It settled to the bottom of her stomach.
They entered a rather large room, and once they stepped onto the middle platform, the room lit up in compete brightness. In front of the team was the Daimyo, Dotou. He sat on a rather gaudy throne, but he was large and wore that distinctive Chakra Armor. He chuckled, standing up.
Kakashi's eyes morphed into slits, "Dotou..."
"Koyuki," He began, smirking, "Well done." The girl ran forward, a knife hidden in between her sleeves and Tamako flickered, tripping the woman before she could take another step forward and grabbing her waist at the last second, saving her from the floor.
"Calm down." She glanced up at the man. "That won't work." Murmuring quietly, "He's got chakra armor on. That silly little knife won't work."
She stepped in front of the crouched woman, taking a few step backs to get some distance between the two. Dotou ripped off his cloak, revealing his chakra armor in full detail. At his growl, the ice trio flickered into combat, Fubuki in particular sending out those ice birds she loved so much.
Well, since she liked spamming this jutsu in particular, she'll just copy it too!
"Shouton: Crystal Shield!" Crystal crossed her vision, blocking the birds before fluctuating her chakra. Urging it to mold, urging it to follow her command. The crystal of the shield chipped away into the air, swirling in the air before forming birds and zoomed at the woman.
"Another Copy-Cat? Can't think of any original ideas?" The woman taunted.
Tamako raised an eyebrow, "Well, it'll be fully original once I remove you from the picture." And then flickered, her fist in the air before ducking in a downward sweep.
She trusted Kakashi to deal the other stragglers, and Team 7 could handle themselves.
Fubuki wasn't so good with taijutsu, struggling to keep up even with her wings fully out. Tamako was fast, it was one of her selling points as a shinobi, and Tamako didn't let off for even a second, making sure the girl couldn't form any handsigns for any jutsu. That's what happens when you rely on external help like this, not even able to execute the simplest of jutsu's without handsigns.
She bent her body low and pounced, her fist raised into an uppercut that sent the woman into the air. Without a pause, Tamako flickered into the air stretched her leg's into a full rotation, kicking the woman twice with each foot before amping her chakra to complete another spin. No one ever expects more than two kicks per butterfly kick, but this was her specialty. With a complete four kicks, each rotation added more force to each kick, Fubuki flew into the air before crashing into the wall, completely out.
Well, that was one down.
She turned to the blasted roof, scaling the building and landed at the top of the building just in time to watch Sakura blast the larger enemy into the air with enough explosive seals that'll probably make Deidara happy, and Sasuke wrapping the man with enough ninja-wire that gave him a firm hold on the man. In classic Rock Lee style, the sent the man spiraling down, head first to the ground.
Well, that was two down.
She jumped down to regroup with the two, her head tilting when she realized the orange one wasn't there. "Where's Naruto?"
The two shrugged, but there was worry on their face. Tamako eyes widen, "Naruto still has that Chakra Receptor on! He won't make it by himself!" Then dashed towards the largest Chakra Signature.
The two were on her tail, exchanging worried glances and picked up speed. Right as they launched themselves off a cliff, they spotted Dotou throwing Naruto under the ice and she signaled Sasuke and Sakura. Her eyes narrowed at the older man, using her skill to get a better glimpse.

Diving behind an ice pillar, she signed before calling out, "Shouton: Crystal Shackles!" That bounty was going to be hers!
She knew chakra armor made ninjutsu ineffective, but if she could stop this man in motion, Sasuke or Sakura could get a clean hit that could either render the armor ineffective, or straight damage the man.
Either was fine, and she let chakra course through the ground and beneath the man. Chains wrapped around the mans leg, tugging him into the ground and forcing the older man to his knees. Familiar chirping and raiton filled the air, the air smelling burnt.
"Take this! Chidori!"
With nowhere to run, Dotou took the brunt of chidori and Sasuke did not hold back with both hands enveloped in raiton chakra. Dotou's armor created a forcefield of chakra to block the assassination type jutsu, it's core cracking. Dotou broke the chains on his arms and wacked Sasuke aside like an annoying pest, sending the boy flying through the air.
Sakura lunged into the air, catching Sasuke before he could make impact against a cliff and flickered to the ground.
"As if that level of Jutsu would be effective on me!" He groaned with power, shattering her crystal shackles and took a step forward.
"I opened a crack in that thing..." Sasuke grumbled out, clutching his chest where Sakura's hands glowed green. "Finish the rest..!"
Tamako was not built for one hit one kill, so when the ground beneath began to shake and the lake beneath the ice glowed red, she sighed in relief.
Right before she plopped in the ground to relax, a blue window popped in front of her eyes.
[Baddies should be punished]

She could never say no to EXP and took a page out of Gaara's jutsu, her hands weaving as her chakra swarmed out of her body and encircled Dotou. She fisted her hand, and a periwinkle hand, the size of Dotou erupted from the ground, cupping his entire body and squeezed. "Shouton: Ingulfing Fist."

He coughed out blood, spitting to his side and stained the white snow. With one last groan, he flexed his body and broke her grasp, the act so strong that wind blasted from his body, upturning the snow and blowing into the air as a natural smokescreen.
At that moment, hundreds of Naruto's erupted from the lake, all screaming the same words. "Payback time! With compound interest!"
Dotou formed signs to form his black snow twin dragon jutsu and Tamako could only raise an eyebrow at how ridiculous all of this was. Where the hell was Kakashi?
The twin dragons circled before shooting to the sky, creating a Tornado that nearly sucked the younger girl in if she hadn't glued her feet to the grind.
Dotou growled before lifting his arms up, breaking the crystal while making an invisible gust of wind, blowing snow everywhere around him.
"It's over when justice prevails and evil loses! Happy ending! Here we go!!!" Only someone like Naruto could shout those cringey lines while forming his Rasengan, but at that moment it felt so right.
"Naruto!" Yukie shouted, "I believe in you! You're the strongest shinobi that Fūn-hime acknowledges!"
Naruto dashes forward with Rasengan in hand, the sun peaking from the horizon and reflecting against the tall mirrors that surrounded the area. She sighed, plopping to the ground next to Sakura and Sasuke.
LV UP!
Naruto's form got brighter and brighter with each step, his Rasengan glowing at the reflection of the mirrors, turning nearly rainbow. It was just like that stupid movie they watched in the beginning, where Fūn-hime used rainbow chakra to defeat the bad guy.
Except this was real, and Naruto was the protagonist.
Always has been, her mind echoes back.
On contact, the Rasengan blasted Dotou, the ground nearly rupturing on impact and sending Dotou across the sky so hard, he shattered a nearby mirror on impact.
Instantly, the harsh snowy tundra transformed into a beautiful grassland with soft colored flowers and butterflies dancing lazily. The mirrors released a steady stream of chakra to create a projection of young Yukie, or Koyuki.
She was so young, just a little girl speaking of her dreams and aspirations to be a kind, strong princess for her people. Her father was warm to her with a kind smile.
A rainbow formed from the heat of the mirrors, melting away the snow and heating the atmosphere. The blue lake gently swayed at the breeze and she finally collapsed to the grassy plain, creating a new save. The mission was finally done, and the big bad boss was taken down.
"Guess we'll have to stay here in Yukigakure for a bit." She glanced down, "So you and Naruto can recover."
The boy stayed silent, closing his eyes at the sun and rested against Sakura's lap, not speaking a word and enjoyed the warm breeze.
Kakashi flickered over with Naruto hanging on his shoulder, still very conscious if the wiggling didn't already signal that. He had a strange glint in his eye that neither felt good nor bad. She felt his eyes trained on her body, and she slouched in respose. Trying to convey meekness. She knew he was the top-dog around here, and her chakra level's were pretty low. Then, he dropped Naruto unceremoniously and disappeared.
Before she could blink, before she could even protest with a squawk, he grabbed her face and slammed it into the ground, his knee pressing against her back and with a firm grasp on her arms, keeping the hands facing down.
"Suna no Tamako" He began, his face no longer smiling. "You are hereby arrested by the Joint-Committee of Konoha and Suna for conspiring with an S-Ranked Missing-nin Yuga no Hidan and Iwa no Deidara."
