Chapter 7
Alicia's POV
BRRING BRING!! screamed the alarm in my delicated ears.
I forcefully pulled my eye lids apart before shutting them again as the blinding sunshine reflected through the window. I knew I had to get up because i had to go school.
Great. Here starts hell.
Eurgh! School. Austin is going to be there. I don't want to face that lying idiot again. Seriously I have no idea why he's acting like he dosen't know me! I got up again to face the light, My eyes kept shutting as they could not take the bright light but i trudged along until i got to the bathroom.
I quickly had a shower which didn't take more than 10 minutes, I didnt want to be late on my first day at school. I got into a pair of black skinny jeans and a normal plain white shirt. when i was finished I rushed down the stairs and...
"Ouch! my nose!" he yelled
"Oh sorry didnt see you there" I smiled inocently. It was true, i didn't see him.
"urgh..hurry up I'm going to be taking you to school" Jake replied.
"Im not hungry, let's go" I said and turned towards the door
"Oh okay and erm..I go school with Austin, Is that okay with you?" He asked me with pleading eyes
"Er..Yeah It's fine" I lied. I didnt want to see him anywhere near me.
We walked out to of the house and saw Austin there standing beside Jake's car.
"Hey man" Austin said as they did that fist punch thing guys do. Austin looked at me and gave me a small smile but I just ignored it and got into the car.
Everyone was silent for the entire journey, which was kinda awkward. When we reached the school, I got out of the car and Jake offerred to take me to the principle to get my schedule.
"Hey man I'm just going to go to take Alicia to the principle to get her schedule, see you later bro" Jake remarked.
"Wait can I speak to Alicia for a second?" Austin asked as he raised his eyesbrows at Jake
"Oh yh sure'' He quickly replied
This made me think they were up to something, but i wasn't going to ask. Or at least no yet.
"About What?" I asked Austin, interested in what on earth he could possibly have to say to me.
"Well you'll find out when we're alone" He said turning to Jake
Jake put his hands up and said "ok i'll wait over there''
"What do you want Austin?" I asked getting irratated
"I'm Er... Look I...about the other day" He started
"I don't have all day, say what you want to say and let me go'' i interupted
Eurgh! This bastard. For a second I thought he was going to tell me he knew me, or that maybe he was sorry. I guess that's what i wanted him to say.
"Urm..you know what? forget it i'll tell you it some other time" he said
"hell no, i didn't wait here for you to tell me you'll tell me some other time' i remarked '' what the hell was it you wanted? or are you gonna back out like some pussy?'' i questioned
"no, im not backing out because im a pussy, i just..well it's not really important' he responded
"well then why the hell did you call me in the first place'' i shouted " you know, i don't even wanna know. Keep it to yourself and don't ever talk to me again'' i added and walked away.
"What did he want?" Jake questioned. "Oh nothing, all he said was hi and then he said he had to go.." I replied sighing.
"Really?" He exclaimed.
"Yeah...Did you expect him to tell me something?" I asked
"Oh no....I Er.. I just thought he would start a conversation... Or somthing like that.." He replied looking away. I knew he was lying beacuse he looked nervous, but I didn't say anything.
After I got my schedule I walked with Jake to our first lesson, Luckily I had the same lesson with him. As soon as I walked in all eyes were on me. I suddenly felt nervous. I looked around to see Austin already seated aswell. GREAT! (note the sarcasm)
"Hello, I see your a new student?" The teacher asked me who's name was Ms Stewert
"Yeah..My name is Alicia" I replied
"Lovely name, Would you like to introduce yourself?" She asked.
I really didn't want to, i mean, what was there to know about me anyway
"well.." i started as evering eyes were focused on me. "My name is Alicia, im 17, i currently moved here with my mum so this is the first school i've been to around here and..that's really it i suppose" i shrugged
"Ok thank you..would you like to go and take a seat next to Bella over there'' she asked pointing at a empty seat next to a girl with light brown hair and hazel eyes.
I sauntered over to the girl and gave her a small smile. She smiled back and introduced herself.
"Hey, my name is Bella" She said as I sat down.
"My name is Alicia, nice to meet you" I replied.
Being kind really sucked. I hated it. But i was always kind to those i didn't really know.
"You've got a beautiful name" She said to me.
"Thanks, so do you" I responded.
"Let me warn you..this lesson is quite boring.." She stated.
"Ha, math is always boring." I replied.
I guess she really was right, half the class weren't even paying attention.
As i looked back, my eyes caught Austin's. He gazed at me without even blinking. Somehow i knew the old Austin was still there, trapped inside him, and he was letting this jerk take over. What a fool.
Dragging my eyes away from his, i put my head on the desk infront of me and continued my conversation with Bella.

Austin's P.O.V
I could see Alicia was hardly paying attention in the class. She was sitting next to Bella that's why...Bella hardly listens in any classes.
"Oi man" I heard Jake whisper. I sit at the back with jake. We always talk but we hardly ever get caught.
"Yeah?" I asked him. "You didn't tell her?" He asked me.
"I can't man, It's just complicated!" I replied.
"How on earth is it complicated?" He questioned looking confused.
"It just is" I said angrily
"No! It's not..your being stupid, Why didnt you tell her in the morning when you spoke to her?" He asked.
"I just told you, It's bloody complicated" I replied getting angry
"You know what... your bloody pathetic!" He replied
"Why do you even need to get involved.. this is between both of us, not you!" I told him.
"She's my step-sister okay, so I have the right to get involved" He replied.
Yeah he was right, but i just wished i didn't lie to her in the first place
"Listen let's just forget it ok?.. I'm not botherd to talk now" I said
"No, were not going to forget it, your going to tell her later and i'm going to be there" He said frustrated.
"You would't tell her if you were in my position" I replied
"Yes i would!" He exclaimed
"Listen no you wouldn't, I'm not ready to tell her, When I am thats when I will" I responded
"You know you pathetic" He said..
"Jake and Austin, Both of you have a detention after school for talking through out the lesson..I'm sick and tired of it" barked Ms Stewert
I just rolled my eyes and began my work, never have I gotten into an argument with Jake. And never have I though i would have an argument with someone over a girl.
And in this case the girl was Alicia, my bestfriend...
