Madison P.O.V :

"Sasha...!!!! Wake up, it's already 8:00," I exclaimed, nudging her with a pillow. "We've got to leave in 30 minute's"

Groaning, Sasha rolled over, her eyes still half-closed. "Just five more minutes," she mumbled, burying her head deeper into the pillow. I sighed in frustration.

"Sasha, we don't have time for this. It's my first day at the office, and I can't afford to be late." With a final huff, Sasha reluctantly sat up, her hair tousled and her face creased with sleep.

"Alright, alright, I'm up. But I'm blaming you if I'm a zombie at work today," she grumbled, rubbing her eyes.

Ignoring her complaints, I quickly headed to the kitchen to make breakfast, my mind already racing with thoughts of the day ahead.

As Sasha stumbled into the kitchen, still bleary-eyed and yawning, I couldn't help but chuckle at her messy appearance.

"We've got 10 minutes, Sasha. If you're not ready by then, I swear I'll leave without you," I warned, my tone firm.

Sasha shot me a playful glare. "Geez, Maddy, you don't have to be so serious. Besides, you know you'd be lost without me," she teased, flashing me a mischievous grin.

Rolling my eyes, I focused on preparing a quick breakfast. After quickly having our breakfast, we grabbed our bags and rushed out of the apartment, eager to make it to the office on time.

"Don't stress, M. Everything will be fine. And if you need anything, just give me a call, and I'll be there in a flash," Sasha reassured me as we hurried down the stairs. With a grateful nod, I took a deep breath, steeling myself for the day ahead.

Arriving at the office building, my nerves kicked into overdrive as we stepped into the lobby. The sound of ringing phones and clicking heels filled the air, adding to the sense of anticipation coursing through me.

As we made our way to the elevator, I couldn't help but feel a sudden hit of excitement mingled with fear. Today marked the beginning of a new chapter in my life, and I was determined to make the most of it.

Stepping into the elevator, I found myself standing next to a handsome stranger, his sharp features softened by a warm smile. Before I could gather the courage to speak, the elevator abruptly lead to a sudden stop, causing the lights to flicker and the air to grow tense.

Ben Williams P.O.V:

"Oh my God!!!" the girl next to me exclaimed, her voice rising in panic. "What's happening? Why did the elevator stop?"

As she began to pound on the elevator door, I couldn't help but chuckle at her reaction, despite the seriousness of the situation.

"Relax, it's probably just a temporary glitch," I reassured her, trying to ease her anxiety.

"Easy for you to say," she snapped, shooting me a glare. "This is not funny at all.".

I look at her and I try so hard not to laugh but then I start laughing out loud.

"Seriously like seriously do you find it funny. You idiot why the hell would you even laugh. Have you lost your mind?," She starts blabbering something then my mind strikes at a point.

"Wait did you just call me idiot," I ask her with a very mad tone.

"Yes absolutely, wait are you even deaf now," She shouts folding her hands.

Before I could say anything, after what felt like an eternity, we finally reached our destination.

Madison P.O.V:

Taking a deep breath, I pushed aside my doubts and focused on the task at hand. Today was my first day at the office, and I was determined to make a good impression.

Entering the office, I was greeted by a whirlwind of activity as employees bustled about, their voices mingling in a symphony of chatter and laughter. Navigating my way through the maze of cubicles, I finally reached my destination – my new workspace.

As I settled into my chair, I couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement mixed with nerves. I was ready to embrace the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead. Just as I was getting settled, a voice broke through, pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Excuse me, are you Madison Keller?" an old man asked, her voice polite but firm. Startled, I turned to face her, my heart racing with anticipation.

"Yes, that's me," I replied, trying to keep my voice steady despite the butterflies in my stomach.

"Excellent, I'm Ruby, Mr. Williams' assistant. He's been expecting you. Follow me, please," she said, gesturing for me to follow her. With a quick nod, I gathered my belongings and followed Ruby, my mind buzzing with anticipation.

As we reached our destination, Ruby paused outside a door marked "Brook Williams - Chairman," her hand poised to knock.

Taking a deep breath, I steadied my nerves and prepared to face whatever challenges awaited me on the other side of that door.

"Here we are, Ms. Keller. Mr. Williams is expecting you," Ruby said, flashing me a reassuring smile before knocking on the door.

"Come in," a voice called from inside, sending a shiver down my spine. With a final glance at Ruby, I gathered my courage and stepped into the unknown.

"Are you Madison from Seattle?" He inquired.

"Yes, sir," I replied with a smile.

"Firstly, please don't call me sir. You are making me feel old. Call me Brook," he said, smiling warmly.

"Mr. Brook it is then," I said, shaking his hand. He was such a sweetheart. Despite being the chairman of THE WILLIAMSON'S company, he didn't need to greet and be this warm to everyone.

"So, Ms. Keller, I have seen your resume, and I am very much impressed with your skills. You will be working with my grandson Ben. Ruby, his assistant, will lead you to his cabin. Have a talk, and then after lunch, Ruby will show you around the quarter," he informed me.

"Thank you, Mr. Brook. I appreciate the opportunity. Have a nice day," I said, waving as he walked away.

"Ms. Keller, come with me. I will lead you the way to Mr. Williams' cabin," Ruby said, gesturing for me to follow her.

As soon as I entered his cabin, I saw him...

Oh my God! Seriously, like seriously, what the hell. My situation couldn't get any worse. The person whom I called an idiot and whatnot is the chairman's grandson, like seriously.

Ben Williams' P.O.V:

As I stood in my office, waiting for my new work partner to arrive, my mind raced with a mix of anticipation and frustration. Grandpa had called me earlier, singing praises about this new colleague and how talented she was. Little did I know that she would be the same girl who had the audacity to call me an idiot.

When she walked in, I couldn't help but feel a surge of anger rise within me. However, I quickly reminded myself to stay professional and not let personal grievances interfere with work.

"Hi!!! Ms. Keller, please have a seat," I greeted her, forcing a smile.

"Thank you, Mr. Williams. Nice to meet you," she replied, shaking my hand. Grandpa's words echoed in my mind as I tried to compose myself. "Mr. Williams, I will surely meet your expectations, and about what happened today..."

Before she could finish her sentence, we were interrupted by the arrival of my best buddy, Blake.

"Hey dude, what are..." Blake began.

Realizing that the conversation was over, I dismissed Madison, promising to speak with her later. As she left the room, I couldn't help but notice the way Blake's eyes followed her, his interest excited by her presence.

"Oh my God, she looks amazing!!! Who is she?" Blake interrogated me, his excitement was clearly visible.

"She is my partner at work from now on," I replied, unable to hide the annoyance in my voice as I recounted the incident from earlier in the elevator.

..... I told him the entire episode with her in the elevator.

"Oh my God!! Did someone just call The Ben Williams an idiot?" Blake burst into laughter, seemingly amused by the situation.

"Stop laughing... I will break your teeth," I warned him, trying to suppress my own amusement.

"She is so damn beautiful. I already like her," Blake commented, his eyes still fixed on Madison's retreating figure.

"Ben, why do I feel that she is your magic girl? The girl you've been waiting for all your life and..." Blake's words trailed off as I cut him off.

"What rubbish... Shut up," I snapped, feeling a mixture of frustration and embarrassment at his teasing.

Madison P.O.V:

"Ms. Keller, let's go. I'll be showing you around our office space," Ruby announced, leading me on a tour of the quarter.

As we traversed the various floors, Ruby pointed out key areas and facilities. "Now, ma'am, we're headed to the 11th floor," she informed me as we entered the elevator.

Upon reaching our destination, Ruby revealed a hidden gem. "This is where you can unwind and play any instrument you'd like during your relaxation time," she explained, gesturing towards a beautifully adorned room.

I was awestruck by the room's beauty, particularly the grand piano that graced its centre. "Oh my God! This room is stunning," I exclaimed, admiring the elegant décor.

Ruby proceeded to share the room's special features. "Whenever you feel like playing, simply hang this 'Do Not Disturb' tag on the door. It's a private space without any cameras, ensuring complete solitude for you and your music. Mr. Williams is particularly fond of music and personally designed this space," she elaborated.

"Wow, I'm absolutely in love with this place. It's truly the highlight of my day," I gushed, feeling a sense of gratitude for the thoughtful gesture.

Returning to my cabin, I began packing my belongings as it was time to leave.

I bumped into Sash near the car parking area.

"How was your day?" I inquired, eager to hear about her experiences.

"Good, but first tell me about your first day," she responded, her curiosity evident.

"It was a long day. I'll fill you in when we get home," I replied, feeling exhausted from the day's events.

Suddenly, Sash's eyes widened with excitement. "Oh my God! Look who's coming – Ben Williams," she exclaimed, her gaze fixed on someone approaching.

"Is he some celebrity or something? Why are you drooling over him?" I questioned, puzzled by her reaction.

"Can't you see? He's the most good-looking guy in this entire building, if not the world," she gushed.

"Alright, stop staring at him and get into the car. By the way, he's my new work partner starting today," I informed her.

"What? Oh my God, really?" she exclaimed, her mouth hanging open in disbelief.

"Let's go now. I'll tell you everything once we're home," I said, eager to change the subject.

"OMG, I can't wait!" she exclaimed, eagerly anticipating the ride home.

Despite her constant pestering during the car ride, I insisted she wait until we were home to hear all the details.

Finally, we arrived home.

"So, spill the beans. What happened?" she asked eagerly, a big smile on her face.

"So...," I began, ready to recount the events of the day.
