Jimin walked with light steps to the place, his boyfriend had told him to meet him at. Jimin had gotten a text from Jungkook his boyfriend, asking him to meet him at their spot. It was behind their High School under a little tree. It was where they met and had their first kiss, it was also the place they sneaked out to, whenever they were in school and needed a little alone time.
It was Sunday so no one was at school. Jimin had no idea why Jungkook would want to meet there as he wasn't the biggest fan of High School and they never used it unless they were in school. Though he obeyed the order, he had gotten from his boyfriend who he loved more than anything. He had never really met anyone like Jungkook and he was pretty sure he never would. He was just so special to him and it was hard to imagine a life without him. They always joked that they lived together, as they spend every day and night together in either of their houses.
When Jimin finally arrived, he saw Jungkook standing under the tree, probably freezing as it was pretty cold.
"Hey babe." Jimin said when he reached him. He perked his lips and Jungkook smiled and seemed a little nervous.
"Hey babe." Jungkook said.
"What was it you wanted?" Jimin asked and smiled.
"I wanted to ask you a question." Jungkook said and seemed nervous again.
"Alright, you can ask me anything." Jimin smiled and Jungkook took a deep breath.
"Jimin the first time I ever saw your face, I knew you were the most beautiful person on this earth. The first time we kissed, I felt the whole world stop for only the two of us. I love you more than anything and anyone. The years we have spend together is the happiest years of my life. You're my soulmate. You make me feel safe and happy. You make me believe I can do things, I would never dream about doing before I met you. You're without any doubt, the love of my life." Jungkook said it all in a gentle and soft voice, while Jimin felt warm inside. Then he slowly dropped to one knee and got out a little box with a ring. Jimin realized what he was doing, and felt his heart stop. "Jimin will you marry me?" Jimin was shocked and couldn't get his thoughts in line. He shook his head and made Jungkook stand up.
"Jungkook we're only kids! We can't get married." Jimin said feeling many mixed emotions.
"Jimin, how long have we been together?" Jungkook asked patiently.
"Four years." Jimin said in a slightly panicking voice, and looked at Jungkook remembering all their good times.
"And how long are we going to be together." Jungkook asked and Jimin slowly started to smile.
"Forever." Jimin said in a heartbeat and now calm voice, knowing it was true.
"I love you so much Jimin. I want to marry you, so why wait?" Jungkook said and looked into Jimin's eyes. "Unless you never thought about marrying me."
"Of course I have!" Jimin said slightly offended.
"Then say yes. Be my husband." Jungkook smiled and Jimin couldn't help but to copy his goofy smile.
"Ask me again. Get on one knee and ask me again." Jimin smiled and Jungkook did as he was told.
"Park Jimin. Will you do me the honor and marry me?" Jungkook asked and Jimin took a shaky breath as tears appeared in his eyes.
"Yes. There's nothing I rather would." Jimin said and Jungkook smiled brightly, even though Jimin could tell he was touched. He put the ring on Jimin's finger and made Jimin put a ring on his before standing up hugging him tightly. They stood like that clung together for a long time, not saying anything but just taking it all in. When they finally pulled away, Jimin couldn't be more sure about his decision. They kissed and hugged again quickly but firmly."I love you so much, you crazy wonderful boy." Jimin smiled to his fiancé.
"I love you too." Jungkook laughed slightly.
"Are we going to tell our parents now?" Jimin asked suddenly nervous. They would definitely not agree on this being a good idea.
"Yes I think we should and our friends, but lucky for you I thought you'd say yes, and as the amazing fiancé I am, I made sure they're all gathered in the same room. I invited everyone over to my parents's house and they should all be there by now." Jungkook smiled clearly proud of himself.
"Woaw I guess we know who's in charge of the wedding planning then." Jimin teased and Jungkook put his arm around his shoulder as they walked. It was slightly cold as it was in the middle of September.
"I want to make every decision together." Jungkook smiled, keeping Jimin warm.
"Yeah I don't what know kind of wedding, I'll end up with if I leave it all to you." Jimin laughed, and Jungkook smiled.
"Well obviously an awesome wedding." Jungkook said and Jimin just shook his head lightly with a smile.
"Jungkook how did you even afford these rings?" Jimin asked Jungkook as he looked at them.
"I've been saving up from my money from work for four months, plus I used my birthday money and some extra I've been saving up." Jungkook answered.
"Woaw Jungkook I-wait is this why you didn't want to buy that movie? You looked forward to it for months!" Jimin said as a lot of things fell into place.
"Well yeah. Is just-I looked at you one day as we sat in bed watching tv, and you were laughing about something. You looked so beautiful and I realized I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you. I mean I already knew that but I didn't want to wait. I wanted it to happen soon. So I decided to ask you to marry me because frankly, I have no happy future without you." Jungkook said and Jimin listened carefully while being touched to his very core.
"Jungkook I love you more than words can describe. I can't wait to get married and spend the rest of my life with you." Jimin said and hoped Jungkook understood, that he truly loved him.
"I'm happy to hear that." Jungkook said and kissed Jimin's forehead as they arrived at Jungkook's house. Jimin suddenly felt nervous and Jungkook seemed to notice. "Hey Jimin is okay, is going to be alright. I know they might not agree, but will it change how we feel for each other?"
"Of course not." Jimin answered.
"Good, then let them say what they want." Jungkook said and Jimin nodded. He perked Jungkook's lips and hand in hand they walked in.
Jimin saw everyone was gathered in the living room and his heartbeat picked up speed again. They took off their shoes and jacket and went inside, still hand in hand. Everybody quiet down as they walked in.
"Hello everyone. I've gathered you here because I have a big and important announcement to make. First I want to say that we would appreciate, if you would think a little over your first reaction, as you might not like it." Jungkook said and Jimin looked nervously at everyone, who was gathered near the couch. His parents and brother was there and so was Jungkook's. Their closets friends were there as well.
"Well tell us." Jungkook's brother said. Jungkook looked quickly at Jimin and a little comforting smile spread on his lips.
"I've asked Jimin to marry me and he said yes. I know we're young but we both want this more than anything." Jungkook announced and it seemed like everybody dropped their jaw.
"Jungkook, you can't get married at this age!" Jungkook's mom exclaimed clearly, not taking his words about their first reactions seriously.
"Neither can you Jimin." His mother chimed in.
"Why can't we?" Jungkook asked and pulled Jimin closer.
"You don't know what you want at this age. You don't know true love. You can't even afford rings." Jungkook's dad said.
"First off, here's our rings that I bought for us. I worked hard and payed for them myself." Jungkook said and they both showed their rings, which seemed to impress everyone. "Second, dad how did you know, you wanted to marry mom?" Jungkook asked and Jimin felt as he might pass out.
"I knew because we'd been together for many years and I loved and still love her more than anything. Because I could see a future with her but none without her." Jungkook's dad said and Jungkook nodded.
"I feel the exact same way. We've been together for four years. When I look at Jimin, you must me able to see all the love my heart contains for him. He's my world. My future." Jimin smiled at Jungkook's words and couldn't help but to lean up and perk his lips.
"I feel the same way about you." He said sweetly and Jungkook smiled. All the parents looked at each other and seemed to agree on something.
"We know the two of you love each other, but we want to know what your plan is. How will you ever pay for a wedding? Will you move together? How about college?" Jimin's dad asked.
"Jungkook already has a job and I could get one. All the salary from that could go to the wedding." Jimin said and looked at Jungkook who nodded.
"Yes and we more or less live together already, so I'm guessing we would just continue with that." Jungkook said.
"With college we'll figure it out. I think we're both aware that it will be hard but we can manage." Jimin said and once more Jungkook nodded. The parents were silent again and Jimin looked over at his friends, who seemed to be happy for them but found the situation awkward.
"Well I don't know about Jimin's parents but..I see that you love each other and I'm giving you our blessing. How it should be payed for, we can figure that out." Jungkook's mom said and Jimin felt relieved before looking at his own parents.
"Mom. Dad. I really love Jungkook, he's the love my life, I just know it." Jimin begged his parents. They looked at each other and his mom sighed.
"Alright, you have our blessing as well. We'll try to help with the money as much as we can." His mom said and never had Jimin felt so relieved.
"Thank you." Jimin smiled and Jungkook looked over at their friends.
"So what do you guys say?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Well I for one couldn't be any happier for you than I am." Jungkook's friend Yugyeom said. He went over and hugged them which set a chain reaction and all the others went over to congratulate them as well. Jimin hugged his parents tightly as well as Jungkook's.
Jungkook's parents found something to drink and eat for them all and it turned into a celebration party. At one point as everyone was having a good time, Jungkook pulled Jimin over to a corner.
"I told you it all would be alright." Jungkook said as Jimin stood in his arms.
"Right and I never doubted you." Jimin smiled and enjoyed the touch of his fiancé. Jungkook kissed his lips gently.
"I can't wait to marry you, and spend the rest of my life with you." Jungkook said softly while caressing Jimin's cheek with his thumb.
"Me neither. I know with you, my future is happy." Jimin said and once more they kissed. Then Jimin's best friend Taehyung yelled for them to stop kissing, and join the party again and they both laughed, while going back. At the end of the day, they were cuddled up in Jungkook's bed. Jungkook was exhausted and already sleeping, while Jimin replayed the moment he proposed over and over in his head. Right until he couldn't keep his eyes open anymore and he fell asleep smiling and ready to marry Jungkook, which he did six months later.
