This hurricane is coming down.
The trees bend and snap.
As buildings flood.
Like Noah we watch for a dove.
We hold our breath.
Waiting for it to pass.
Hear the screams.
As windows shatter.
My door the wind try to knock down.
The animals are restless.
The worst part is waiting.
The wind gives a cold howl.
No mercy for anyone now.
People try and run.
Knowing their homes are done.
The hurricane is here and we tremble in fear.
