"Yo family wassap." The Lakers forward Brandon Ingram said as he sat next to his fellow Duke mate Jayson Tatum. They were visiting campus before the season and decided to meet up at one of the quieter cafés.
"Aye. What's good B.I?" He responded back as they dapped each other up.
"Man sorry about you guys losing I.T. and shit. Like I knew you were looking forward to play with him."
"Man we lost him and Crowder but we got Kyrie. Both of them could score and don't really play defense so it's whatever." Jayson said making Brandon laugh.
"Never mind. I take back my sentiments. I ain't supposed to be worried about a Celtic anyways." Brandon said nudging him.
"I mean. I got worse news this week anyways so it doesn't matter."
"What could be possibly worse Tatum?"
"Finding out that your girl is actually somebody else's girl." Jayson said with a straight face. Brandon watched him in disbelief, confused by his statement.
"Your girl, Fine ass Y/N cheated on you?" He asked in shock.
"Fine ass Y/N cheating on me fam." Jayson said as he chuckled a bit. He couldn't believe it either but his sources were accurate and he needed to confront her now.
"As in. Fine ass Y/N who goes to Duke. Who is about to be a Junior, your girl. Fine ass Y/N. Waaaaaaw." Brandon exclaimed as he leaned back into his seat.
"My same reaction fam. I'm like. We were each other's ride or die and them boom she has a whole other man." Jayson said as he let out a sigh.
"A whole other man. She got two whole boyfriends. Two. What?" Brandon said more to himself as he nodded his head.
"Yup. I'm actually supposed to meet her here and talk about it with her." Jayson said with a shrug.
"Man. I hope she like tells the truth. Makes the whole break up process easier or something. But then you might be counting sand or swallowing tide pods because you really liked that girl."
"Can you not." Jayson said as he laughed at Brandon's statement.
"I'm just saying fam. These beautiful girls be having you suicidal and shit. Like I'll counting waves and be thinking about what I did wrong" Brandon said as he shook his head.
"Wait. But who is this whole other man?"
"Trevon Duval."
"The freshman. The recruit. Oh shit she was talking to you when you were recruited to. Oh my gosh. Oh my fucking gosh. If she keep this up she going be ridding man that born 2000. Oh my. Jayson." Brandon said as he paced around the practically empty café.
"Yes. I realized all of this man. So she just messaged me that she is on her way. You staying or not?" Jayson as he checked his phone.
"Hell yeah I'm staying. I need to see what Fine ass Y/N aka Miss I love Freshman got to say." Brandon said as he sat back down.
The door to the café opened and Y/N walked in with Trevon by her side. She spotted the guys and smiled and waved at them before walking towards the table.
"Oh hell naw." Both of them said at the same time. Y/N and Trevon took their seats, as an awkward silence filled the table.
"Hey Brandon. How is the Laker life going?" Y/N stated at she smiled at the Forward.
"It's going good. Nice to see you again Fine ass Y/N." Brandon said with a fake smile. Jayson and Trevon stared down each other, like they were ready to throw hands.
"Oh my where is my manners. Jayson this is my boyfriend Trevon. Trevon this is my boyfriend Jayson." Y/N said with a bright smile as she introduced the guys to each other. Trevon and Jayson both watched her like she lost her mind as Brandon sat there in shock.
"The devil is a liar." Brandon mumbled as he waited for the situation in front of him to explode.
"So you are not hiding the fact that you cheated on me with this guy and then had the nerve to introduce him to me as your boyfriend?" Jayson said with a monotone voice. He was so shocked by her move that he didn't know how to be angry at the entire situation.
"Yeah why would I lie to you. We've been through a lot of shit Jayson. This is me being transparent." Y/N said with simple shrug.
"Father lead me day by day." Brandon mumbled the famous children hymn and he rocked back and forth in his seat. He wanted to get up and slap her but this wasn't his mess, so he was staying in his corner.
"Transparent? This is what you call transparency?" Jayson yelled, finally letting his anger out.
"But you told me you were single when we started to talk. And I thought this special person was like a brother not another guy." Trevon added as he turned to her with a pained expression on his face.
"Both of you guys overacting. Obviously." Y/N said as she rolled her eyes.
"What?" Both of the guys exclaimed at the same time.
"The fact that you cheated on me, well cheating."
"And that you lied to me."
"And we overreacting." Jayson said as he nodded his head. He was trying extremely hard to control his anger. "Celtics rookie drags girl across School campus" was not a headline he wanted to see.
"Look. The purpose of this meeting was for you guys to get to meet each other and understand how this relationship is going to work." Y/N said as she grabbed Jayson's face to watch her.
"It's going to work by adding an entire nigga to the equation Y/N? Look I put too much into this relationship, prolly way more than I was supposed to, to just sit down and accept another guy to be apart of it." Jayson said as he removed her hands from his face.
"I put a lot into this relationship as well and trust me babe. It will make sense eventually." Y/N said as she gave him those same puppy eyes he fell in love with.
"You added a whole nigga to the relationship, that is what you did." Brandon said more to himself making Trevon chuckle a bit. He himself couldn't believe he ended up in a situation like this. All he wanted was a girl by his side, a support system to help him through college.
"Look. Y/N." Jayson started as he let out a loud sigh. He refused to leave her charming voice and charisma trap him again. "I love you. I really do but I can't do this shit. Like you could stay with the younging but. Me I can't do it."
"But Jayson-"
"Nah I can't do it. Sorry. I got basketball and my family to worry about. I don't need this stress in my life. I thought we were going last forever but you fucked that up."
"Look Y/N I gota agree with him. If you pulled this on Jayson, imagine what you could pull me on. I'm really only here to get my education and play ball." Trevon added with a shrug.
Y/N sucked her teeth as she got up from her seat. She shook her head in disappointment because she really thought this would've worked.
"It's okay boys. It's not like I don't have others waiting for me. Bye." She said before kissing them on the cheek.
As she walked out of the café the two guys let out a loud sigh and slid down in their seats.
"Umm excuse me miss." Brandon said getting the attention of one of the workers. "I need two cold bottles of bleach for these guys. Give me lemon for the freshman and lavender for the rookie. And give me a shot of the original. Just a shot. Because that girl Fine ass Y/N."?
