I got in the house and ran past sleeping Izzy and Asher. I got to my room and closed the door. I had mixed feelings. Another guy broke my heart.
I never liked him but it was something that drew me to him. The whole mating thing. He said we had to be together. Then I realized something, he never really cared. He needed me. Not love. He had to be with me.
He didnt care. The mating thing kept him drawn to me. I knew I wasn't pretty. I knew no one would care. I can't believe I felt something for him.
I only wish someone would care. As I was thinking I fell into deep sleep.

I woke up the next morning feeling somewhat happy. I don't why after everything that happened. I got out of bed and walked down stairs. Asher and Izzy were sitting on the couch watching tv.
I walked into the kitchen and got a bowl out to make cereal. I made my breakfast and sat on the couch next to Asher.
"Thanks cereal. " Asher took the bowl out my hand and took two big bites of my cereal.
"No, no, no" I said taking my cereal back. "Ew now you have your germs all over my spoon!"
Asher smirked. "Not like you haven't had my germs before" He winked at me but Izzy had a shocked face.
"YOU KISSED ASHER" we both looked at her and nodded.
"Why do you think we are so close. We're not dating but we are like best buddies. " she made an "o" face.
I got up and headed to the bathroom for a shower.
Asher P.O.V.
It was funny that Isabel didn't know that I kissed Anna. I mean who wouldn't. I'm glad Matt has backed off of her. I see him every now and then but he would stare at Anna and I got pissed off.
I told him to back off and he did. To Anna, she doesn't know that I love her more than a friend. I want her and only her. She hangs out with me 24/7 so I'm happy.
I feel like something is off tho. Like she likes someone else. At the party yesterday I came into the kitchen to find her and two guys. I knew Darren but I don't think he knows Anna. The only time he saw her or talked to her was at the beach party.
The other guy in the kitchen I didn't know but I think he was trying to hook up with Anna. I wonder if she knew him. What if she did and she liked him. I hope not, she's the only girl that I felt like this about.
The sound of water turning off broke me out of my thoughts. I looked at Isabel who was looking at me. I was confused.
"What" I asked a bit annoyed.
"How was it" A smirk appeared on her face. I rolled my eyes.
"Fine" I lied. It wasn't fine it was AMAZING. The best kiss I've ever had.
"Lier" Isabel mumbled under her breath. I ignored her and continued to watch tv.
Anna finally came down and when I say sexy I mean sexy. Anna had on short blue jean shorts, a black sleeveless shirt that said music, and her hair in a messy bun. It was the little things like that , that turned me on.
Anna's P.O.V.
I got dressed and walked down stairs. Ashers eyes went from my face, down my body, and back to my face. Boys.
"You guys hungry" I said and Izzy's eyes popped out of her head. I promise you thats the only thing she loves. I laughed.
"Sure" Asher and Izzy said at the same time. I raised an eyebrow and turned to walk in the kitchen but the door bell rang.
I went to the door and saw Sam. He hand his hands in his pockets and was looking down. I was about to say something when Izzy ran to the door.
"OH HELL NAW" she yelled at him but he didn't seem to care.
"Ah I see you still have that ass of a friend." He smirked but I rolled my eyes.
"What do you want Samuel" He chuckled at my comment.
"Whole name I see.." he paused and looked down. "U-u my um m-mom wants to s-see you." he stuttered. My eyes widened.
"Y-your m-mom" I questioned him. She hated me, so why now talk to me.
"Yeah she u-uh has been sick and wanted to say sorry." Tear welled up in his eyes. Izzy came closer.
"I'm sorry" Izzy said tapping him on the shoulder. I couldn't say anything. I was heart broken, she never like me but the thought of death or sickness made me sad.
I walked closer and did the unexpected. ..I hugged him. He hugged me tightly but soon pulled away.
"Be ready tomorrow at eight" he said and turned away. I closed the door slowly.
I felt sick, I felt the need to- . I ran to the bathroom over the toilet. Asher and Izzy ran behind me. I coughed up blood. It continued to come out.
"CALL 911" Asher yelled at Izzy, she ran out the bathroom. I heard a door be kicked open.
"OMG! HOW! ARE YOU OK!" Izzy cried. Who was she talking to?
"I'm perfect " someone said in a familiar voice. That familiar voice was Darren.
I heard him come in the bathroom but I couldn't look up I was still having trouble breathing from the blood.
"Move" Darren yelled at Asher angrily. I felt his hand touch my cold back. "It's ok..." He paused and looked at Asher. "get out for a second" Asher listened and walked out.
Darren shut the door and camd back to me. I noticed that his shirt had blood all over it. He took his nail and drew a line on his wrist cutting himself.
"Drink" Darren held ot his wrist with blood dripping down. I shook my head no.
"Drink or you will die" I looked at him and back to his wrist. He pushed his wrist to my mouth letting ths liquid in. It was terrible.
Finally he pulled it away. I swallowed it feeling better in the neck and soon everywhere.
"How" He lifted his shirt off and examined his deep cut.
"The bond. What ever emotion or physical pain I have you will have too." He wiped up the blood and his cut started to heal. He put his shirt back on.
I walked past him only to get pinned to the door.
"Why were you mad yesterday night" I looked at him and spit in his face.
He wiped the spit off. "Because I wasn't in a good mood" I hissed at him but it made him laugh.
"Ha ok," He had his face only inches from mine. I looked down trying to think of a way out. "Stop thinking of a way out" He rolled his eyes and moved away from me.
He gave me that look to move away from the door so I did. Darren opened the door and walked out leaving me alone.
"Darren wait" I walked into the living room with Him, Asher and Izzy. He turned around my eyes meeting his Chocolate brown eyes.
"Yeah" he said kinda annoyed. I rolled my eyes at his stubbornness.
"Can I talk to you-" I paused. "It will only be a minute ,I promise" I saw a smirk creep onto his face.
"Don't make promises you can't keep." He turned on his heal to walk away but I grabbed his arm.
"Please" I begged. Darren looked at me and sighed. "I'll be right back guys." Asher nodded and Izzy shrugged.
I pulled Darren outside. "Get to talking" he motioned me to talk. I sighed. "Ok 2 things" He sighed and motioned me again, I rolled my eyes.
"1. How do I-we break the bond." His eyes darkened.
"What the hell" he raised his voice. I took a step back.
"Your not happy, I'm not happy" I looked to the ground. I had feelings for him. Not a lot but it was something different about him that made me like him. He is a killer of the night but I don't know.
"What! Who said I wasn't happy?" Darren yelled. I held in the tears, I hated when people yelled at me.
"Face it I saw you at the party kissing some really pretty girl and I know you want way more then this. We are not that good of friends either so it could never work out." I bit my lip when I finished.
Darren laughed " That slut was my dinner" My eyes widened. Did he really kill her and then call her a slut! "She was all over me" He needs to stop reading my mind.
"Whatever but is there a way to break it?" I changed the topic.
"No and I wouldn't want to do that so why do you." his voice softened.
I ran my hand through my hair. "You kill-" I thought about what he told me. "sorry".
"No it's fine I understand" He stepped closer to me, pulling my waist. "Just so you know I love you and we will forever be mates" I hated that word. Stupid mates. Ugggghhh.
He kissed me passionately. I was surprised but I kissed back but soon pulled away. "W-why did y-you do that" I stuttered.
" If you think that was amazing wait till later." He winked and before I knew it he was gone.
