We've won the first set, now it's the second set and we already have 20 points while the other team has 7, Kageyama is about to toss the ball, so I jump
"Tobio-chan!" I yelled looking at him, he tosses the ball to me and I spike was able to spike it making a loud THUD! it feels good that only I can spike his fast tosses I smile to myself
"Nice toss! Tobio-chan" I say ruffling his hair
"mm" he hums. now we have 21 points
Their captain is about to spike once again, but we are able to block it scoring us one more point. kageyama tosses the ball to kindaichi but he almost misses it
"close call" he says in relief
"Faster!" Kageyama yells
"nice" kunimi says to Kindaichi
"Tch, reckless tosses today, as usual." -kindaichi
"I know, the opponent can't even block; what's the point? what's he so serious about" -kunimi
oh shit I think to myself... again
"when will you guess get serious then?" kageyama yells
"OI!" I yell at the three, putting my hands in front of Kageyama "you're opponents are on the opposite side of this net, not this side" I say pointing to the other team "we are team! and if you don't start acting like it i'll have all three of you on the benches!" I yell while glaring daggers into their souls
"Hai" the three say
"scary~ Kita-Ichi's captain may be small, but he sure is even scarier than their setter" one of the point keepers (don't know what to call them) say.
the score is now 23 - 7 and it's kunimi's turn to serve
"service ace again" kunimi says while running back into the line
"not yet" Kageyama yells, the both of us were in the front line staring at the orange haired boy
"he won't get that" Kunimi replies
the captain is running after the ball and dives for it but he doesn't make it. he roles like three times then slams himself into the wall
"wow, looks painful" -kindaichi
"he's trying hard" -kunimi
"Whao~ he's really awesome!" I say with stars in my eyes as kindaichi, kunimi, and Kageyama stare at me in confusion. (KKK holy shit!)
"Kunimi-chan one more nice serve!" I say
I can hear some of what the orange says to his teammate
"I don't know what you mean but... we haven't lost yet" he say with a his eyes filled with determination as a shadow covers his eyes, this caused that teammate of his, Kageyama and I to flinch
"s-scary" I mumbled grabbing the hems of my shirt.
kunimi serves the ball and the captain is able to receive it, player 5 slides and kicks the ball up in the air and their captain spikes it but kindaichi and kageyama were there, and kindaichi one touched it
"one touch" kindaichi yells
"you touched it! cover it!" Kageyama yells
kunimi begins to lazily run after the ball, but I quickly ran past him and dive for the ball, but I wasn't able to get it in time so I ended up slamming into the wall.
"score!" their captain yells
"shit!" I mutter while standing up
"don't give up on the ball!" kageyama stares angrily at kunimi
"m-my bad" kunimi looks away
"we haven't won yet! you can't let your guard down!" kageyama yells
"GOMEN!" I yelled bowing in front of the two "I wasn't fast enough, but next time i'll get it!"
"no, it's fine, but... just look at the points, unless a miracle happens..." -kunimi
"that last point was no miracle, he scored a genuine point" kageyama points at the orange haired boy "that guy. He scored a genuine point"
"now now Tobio-chan, calm down" I say putting a hand on his shoulder "we're at match point, we can win in one go!" I slapped the both of them on the back harder than I should have causing them to groan in pain, standing in between the two I point at their captain and look him in the eye "we won't let you score anymore!"
player number six served and it hit the net, but kindaichi was able to save it but it went of the over, kageyama, kindaichi, and I were in the front ready to block, but the setter tosses it in the wrong way
"toss miss?" I mumbled to myself, the next thing I new a flash of green and orange went right by use so fast he was already in the air ready to spike, kageyama and I ran to the other side, and stretched our hands to at least get a one touch Shit! why is he already there?! but it was too late, he spiked the ball causing him to tumble and crash into the blue thingys, kunimi dived for the ball but he wasn't able to get it.... Shit! did he score again!?
"psssrwwww" (yes, this is a whistle blowing)
"o-out?" I mumbled "we... we won?"
'this guy, he really is interesting, he barely has his fundamentals down, but this speed and his jumps.... he really is awesome' I thought while looking over at his team, Tobio-chan was also starting at them, guess he's also thinking about that last jump. I take a look at Tobio-chan's face and he was kind of pouting, 'cute' I thought while giggling a little bit.
"Oi kageyama! [M/N}!" Kindaichi called us out "what are you guys doing! get in line!"
"eh?" I turned around to see the rest of the team lined up "oh... h-hai! let's go, Tobio" (go go let's go let's go dateko.... i'm sorry I couldn't resist)
no reply... is he purposely ignoring me...... this b!tch... I thought, I tick mark appearing on my forehead. He walks towards the net and grabs it
"what were you doing for the last three year?" he says to their captain
"what did you day" player 5 yells
"stay out of it" player 6 says holding him back
"Oi! Kageyama! that's to far! you don't know what he may have gone through in the past!" I go forward and bowed to them "sorry about him, he didn't meant it" I looked up and see the captain has his head down and is shaking a little, he's mad, sad, devastated... "a-ano..." I look away "I hope we can play each other again" I grabbed Kageyama by his jersey and pulled him in line, I smacked the back of his head
"you went to far back there" I say to him frowning a bit
"tch"
*sigh* "what an I gonna do with you" I mumble
As we're walking out the rest of the team is ahead of us suddenly, I hear someone's foot steps running towards us.
"you..." Kageyama and I turned around to see none other than the orange haired boy from earlier. "if you're the king that rules the court," tears begin to fall from his cheeks catching me a little of guard "i'll have to defeat you and i'll be the last one standing!"
i'm here too you know
"the last ones standing are the victors. Only the strongest, if you want to be the last one standing, become strong." kageyama say and once again for the 3rd time today they were having a glaring contest.
kageyama turns around and starts to leave,
"Oi" I call to him "what's your name?" I asked
"e-eh, H-Hinata shoyo"
"Hinata-chan, you have amazing speed and you jump super high, higher than me even, like GWAHH! you really are awesome!"
"ARIGATO!" he yells
"but... I will become stronger as well so don't disappoint" I smiled to him causing him to blush
"H-HAI!"
"I look forward to playing with you again!" I bow and take off to catch up with kageyama
'I'll jump higher, and go faster, so that only I can keep up with kageyama's fast tosses' I blush at the thought of kageyama working together,
"AHHHH what am I thinking!" I grabbed my face while running to catch up with Kageyama
"Oi! buruberi-chan! wait up!" I drape my arm over his shoulder
"I told you don't call me that! B-BAKA!" he blushes
I giggled at the sight of him being embarrassed haha cute
