This is part 2 to Yoonjin/2seok :)
"Here I hope you guys sinking this low was worth it. Now don't ever talk to me again." Yoongi stormed out the apartment leaving both Hoseok and Jin stunned.
"What have I done." Hoseok said after a minute and sat down on the couch with his head resting in his hands. Tears fell from his eyes and landed on the floor. He could hardly believe himself. He felt Jin sit down next to him putting an arm around him. Hoseok wanted to lean into his touch but something stopped him.
"It's going to be okay." Jin said making Hoseok look at him.
"Okay? Can't you see what we have done. I never wanted to lose him as a friend." Hoseok said getting a sour taste in his mouth.
"I know." Jin said and patted Hoseok's back. Hoseok took a minute to gather himself but the weight of what he had done was too much. Hoseok had no idea how long they sat like that. Hoseok crying, Jin in his own world, two people who had given up an amazing person to be together. As the night grew darker so did Hoseok's mind.
"You can stay here if you like." Hoseok said to Jin.
"Thank you." Jin said and kissed his cheek. "I think we should go to bed. We can't change what happend." Jin said and his tone of voice made Hoseok wonder if he even felt guilty about it.
"You go the bed. I'll clean up and come join you after." Hoseok said sadly. Jin hesitated but ended up nodding. He turned Hoseok's head and kissed his lips. Hoseok didn't put much emotion in it. After Jin had left the living room, Hoseok got up. He took the wine glasses and poured what it contained into the sink. He tried not to think of what he had done. He blew all the candles out, then his eyes fell on the pictures. He kneeled down and picked them up. Some were burned, some were ripped. He put together a picture of him and Yoongi smiling and felt a wave of guilt crash into him. Tears started to stream down his cheeks more viontly this time. He sobbed and fell to his knees. He tried hard to stop but it only made it worse. Yoongi had been his best friend for so long. He had been there for Hoseok no matter what. He was the only person Hoseok really trusted and could tell everything. He hated himself for what he had done to him. He sat like that crying for what seemed like hours. When he had no more tears left to shed, he got up and threw the pictures out. He brushed his teeth and changed before getting into bed next to Jin who was already sleeping. Hoseok on the other hand didn't seem to be able to fall asleep that easily. His mind was spinning as he thought back to everything he had done.
Yoongi and Jin had met each other in town on a cafe where they apparently bumped into each other making Yoongi spill his drink which luckly was an ice tea. Jin had felt so bad so he offered to buy Yoongi a new one and they had gotton an ice tea and a coffee together. Hoseok had always thought Jin was handsome when Yoongi started to date him. He was so gentle and sweet. He had a bad sense of humour with all his bad jokes but the way he seemed so proud about them, made them seem sort of funny. Seeing Jin and Yoongi together Hoseok always wondered how they fell for each other. They were completely diffrent and normally Hoseok would never have gussed them as a couple based on their personalities. But they seemed to have a special liking to each other and Yoongi was happy. It was all Hoseok wanted Yoongi to be after his last boyfriend cheated on him. Hoseok had been the one to comfort Yoongi and he had seen him cry harder than ever before. So he welcomed Jin happily and felt good seeing them together.
Their relationship seemed to be doing good and they had been together for about three years when something changed. Yoongi had problems at work and it effected him, as he had to work late. Jin and Hoseok had become good friends, good enough to hang out together without Yoongi. They had gone to a bar together. A cozy one with low lights and plenty of beer. Jin was slightly drunk when he told Hoseok, he always thought Hoseok was attractive. He told him he and Yoongi weren't doing too good but he still loved him and cared for him but the work thing filled a lot. They barely touched and having sex seemed almost like a fantasy. While saying all of this he had moved closer and Hoseok let him. Jin told Hoseok that before it had gotton serious with Yoongi he had almost wished he had gotton to meet Hoseok first in that cafe. That he could easily have fallen for him. But he met Yoongi first and he ended up falling for him instead and quickly dismissed the thought of Hoseok like that. Hoseok admitted he had thought the same thing at first. He was happy for Yoongi and stopped every thought going that way but he could easily have fallen for Jin too. Hoseok knew it was wrong when they started to talk like that but his feelings were a mess. Jin leaned in and Hoseok followed his lead. Their lips met in a kiss that send sparks flying in the air aorund them. The rest of the night they sat close kissing. The next day Hoseok had felt horrible with his actions but there was no denying the feelings that had started to bloom inside him. Jin had called later that day and asked if he could come over. Hoseok agreed and the minute he layed eyes on Jin, he wanted to be with him. Nothing else mattered. Their lips attached in a kiss and slowy they started to meet up on dates. They had sex and it felt amazing, better than anyone Hoseok had done it with before. Hoseok knew in his heart it was wrong. They had discussed telling Yoongi but the work thing was still going on and Hoseok knew it would break him. They kept trying to make it seem okay but they both knew it wasn't. But none were ready to hurt Yoongi and none of them wanted to lose him. Plus Hoseok was blinded by the feelings he had for Jin.
So now here they were. He had lost Yoongi as a friend. He had hurt him in the worst way. He felt guilty and mad at himself but he also thought about Jin. He liked Jin a lot but now as a light has been casted on the things he had done to be with him, he wondered if it was worth it. Jin meant so much to him, and Hoseok had thought about a future with him. Though it was always a future with Yoongi in it. Now all he could see was darkness. A pitch black that devoured you, if you should come too close.
Hoseok sighed and turned around on his side. He closed his eyes hoping to fall alseep and get a break from the constant feeling of his heart aching. Slowly sleep found him and swollowed him up.
The next morning Hoseok woke up to a smell of food. He walked to the kitchen and saw a plate for him and a note saying Jin had gone to work. Hoseok ate the food but it didn't seem to taste of anything. He still felt bad and all he wanted was to call Yoongi and make him forgive him but he had no right. He went to work a little later even though he knew it wouldn't be a very productive day. His mind kept drifting off to diffrent places. Could Yoongi ever forgive him? Was it worth it? How much did he like Jin? At the end of the day, Hoseok had accomplished close to nothing both with his work and his questions. He went back to his apartment and saw Jin sitting in the couch. It was a weird feeling that filled him up when he saw him, he felt with an intense need to be touched by Jin and kissed by him. He wanted to feel his naked skin against his own. He walked to the couch and Jin looked up.
"Hey Hoseok." Jin said giving something like a shadow of a smile.
"I need you." Hoseok said and placed himself on Jin's lap a leg on either side of his. Hoseok caught Jin's lips with his own and clamied them now as his own. It was hungry and needing. Jin reacting fast and pressed his palms against Hoseok's lower back. He needed this too. Hoseok had his arms around Jin's neck as their lips parted and their tounges met. Jin's hands went under Hoseok's shirt and his skin burned under Jin's touch. Hoseok removed Jin's shirt and his hands went all over his skin as their lips connected again. When they needed air Jin took Hoseok's shirt off. Their skin was pressed together and their lips attached. They were two people messed up with feelings, who tried to find comfort in each other. When Jin's hands landed on Hoseok's crotch, Hoseok suddenly didn't want it anymore. "Wait. Stop." Hoseok said and Jin pulled back.
"What is it love?" Jin asked.
"I just can't do it. Not yet." Hoseok said and knew Jin knew what he meant.
"It's okay." Jin said and his hands fell to Hoseok's thighs.
"Can you just hold me?" Hoseok asked and Jin nodded. He pulled Hoseok in and they sat close holding each other. Hoseok closed his eyes and took Jin's scent in. He really liked Jin, he was everything he wanted. He made him feel so good in so many ways. "Can I ask you a question?"
"Sure anything." Jin said as he caressed Hoseok's naked back.
"Do you love me?" Hoseok asked and Jin's hand stopped for a moment before it continued.
"Why do you suddenly ask that?" Jin asked something in his voice was well hidden and Hoseok couldn't figure out what it was.
"I'm just wondering. It's okay if you don't want to answer." Hoseok said and Jin took a minute before answering.
"I do love you. You're an amazing person." Jin said and Hoseok felt like he should be happy to hear that but he wasn't.
"I love you too." Hoseok said and Jin kissed his shoulder. They went quiet again and sat like that for the longest time.
Days went by and Hoseok thought he was slowly feeling better. A few times the guilt would take over his mind and body but most of the time he was fine. Jin and him hardly talked about what happend but it was there, hanging in the air ready to be grabbed and talked about. They had sex and it felt good, it always did with Jin. They told each other they loved each other but Hoseok lacked the feeling of butterflies. He knew Jin meant it and Hoseok meant it too. He loved Jin so much.
Two weeks after it happend Hoseok couldn't take it anymore. Hoseok hadn't seen much of a reaction from Jin and wondered if he felt the same pain as Hoseok sometimes would feel. If he felt like something was off between them. If he even cared at all about what they had done. He wanted a reaction and he wanted to know if he was alone with the feelings. Even though he prayed and hoped Yoongi hadn't suffered too much from the pain they had caused him, the pure thought that he had caused him any pain was enough to break Hoseok.
The two of them were sitting on the couch when Hoseok carefully asked Jin a question he hoped would open a door to the conversation.
"How do you feel these days?" Hoseok asked and Jin seemed to detect there was more to it than just a question.
"I'm feeling good." Jin said and surely tried to figure out why Hoseok asked such a question.
"Good?" Hoseok asked not beliveing he could feel good after such thing, afterall Jin had been Yoongi's boyfriend.
"Yes. Good. Why?" Jin asked and Hoseok wasn't sure what to say.
"You don't feel bad at all?" Hoseok asked, his tone slightly sharp.
"Why would I feel bad?" Jin asked and Hoseok really couldn't believe it.
"Do you not care at all about what we did? That we went behind Yoongi's back? That you cheated on him, your boyfriend, my bestfriend. You don't care about that at all? Because the guilt of it has been eating me alive." Hoseok said, with a little bit of a nasty tone. Jin dropped his face for a second, then a flash of anger went over his face.
"Of course I care!" Jin said and the act of sitting down seemed to bother him so he stood up, with Hoseok following his lead.
"Then why haven't you showed it? To me it seems like you don't care." Hoseok said.
"I do care! You think it's been easy on me? I was with Yoongi for three years! I thought I was going to marry him but I ended up falling for you. I loved him but I liked you. I've tried to justify what we did since that day but it was wrong. He didn't deserve it. I know that. I have cried nearly everyday since he found out." Jin said starting to yell at Hoseok and getting tears in his eyes. "I loved him with all my heart and I was so confused. I've known you too for three years so why did I suddenly want to kiss you and be held by you? Because he was busy with work? I feel like an aweful human being. I hate myself for what I did to him. I knew we should have told him after the first night but I couldn't because I was so use to being with him and I did really love him and I never wanted to hurt him. I knew that I started to fall for you and I knew at the end of the day I wanted to be with you and not him. But how can you kick someone who's already lying down? He already had a hard time and I wasn't ready to face what I was doing. Hoseok I just can't deal with these feelings. I wanted you so badly as my boyfriend but I wasn't ready to give you all of me and I ended up hurting Yoongi and now you're feeling bad too. I feel so sorry to him and you." Jin's tears started to stream down his face together with Hoseok's. Hoseok walked to Jin and held him closely while Jin was crying into his shoulder.
"I'm so sorry Jin. I didn't want to make you feel bad." Hoseok said trying his best to comfort him. "You don't have to be sorry to me, I was in it too. It's not your fault. You're not an aweful human, you're just a human with human emotions, that's all." Hoseok said while Jin continuted to cry.
"I don't think I can do this anymore." Jin sobbed into Hoseok's shoulder and Hoseok knew what he meant.
"I know. Me niether." Hoseok said and Jin pulled away from his embrace. They dried each others tears away as they knew what had to be done. As long as they saw each others face everyday, they couldn't escape what they had done. They couldn't escape the darkness and the guilt.
"I love you Hoseok so much but this is too hard." Jin said and Hoseok nodded sadly.
"I love you too, I wish we could have met diffrently than this." Hoseok said and Jin stepped back.
"Maybe one day we will meet again and can be together but right now is not that day. Breaking up seems like our only option if we want to feel happy again." Jin said and Hoseok nodded.
"I know." Hoseok said, not sure what else to do. Jin walked to the bedroom and got his stuff still packed in his suitcase, another sign they knew they were cursed since that day. He hadn't bothered to unpack. Jin stood by the front door looking at Hoseok who looked back.
"I love you." Jin said and Hoseok let his eyes drop to the floor to gather himself.
"I love you too." Hoseok said. Carefully he walked closer and kissed Jin's cheek. Jin gave a soft smile before he opened the door and left Hoseok. Hoseok wanted to cry but didn't have the strength to do it. He lay in his bed thinking about Jin and Yoongi until he fell asleep.
Six months went by and Hoseok was doing much better. He hadn't talked to Yoongi but he was still on his mind from time to time. Jin and him had talked a few times and Jin seemed to be doing better too. They had both been dating other people but ended up breaking it up. Hoseok knew that in someway they waited for a sign from the universe, that it was okay to be together again. That what they did hadn't damaged Yoongi.
One day Hoseok was sitting at a cafe, reading a book by himself and enjoying some coffee outside as the weather was good. He glanced out onto the street where his eyes tracked down a figure with the same build as Yoongi. The figure was holding someone's hand, a boy either the same height or a little shorter than the figure. When they turned around Hoseok saw that it was Yoongi. He was smiling widely to the boy, who's hand he was holding. The boy was very handsome. He had plump lips and his eyes was smiling with his mouth. They walked on but Yoongi stopped and pulled the guy close, clearly not caring who saw them. He caressed the boy's cheek and pulled him in. Gently they kissed and Yoongi held the boy's body close to his own, like he never wanted to lose him. When they pulled away Yoongi said something to the boy and the boy said something back that made Yoongi smile. Their hands interwhined again and they kept walking, Yoongi looking happier than ever. Hoseok smiled a little to himself. He missed Yoongi endlessly as a friend but he knew it was his own fault. He was just happy to see Yoongi fianlly had found someone who made him smile like that. He hoped their relationship would go well and Yoongi wouldn't get hurt again. A thought hit Hoseok as Yoongi and the boy turned a corner and he picked up his phone and called the person he missed just as much as he missed Yoongi.
"Hey Jin. Want to meet up?" Hoseok asked into the phone, feeling as the darnkess that surrounded his future was lit up.
"Sure. Where are you?" Jin asked into the phone.
"I'm at the cafe." Hoseok said knowing Jin would know which one.
"Alright I'll be right there." Jin said and Hoseok waited patiently. He stood up wanting to get more to drink and decided to get an ice tea to cool down. He payed for the drink but when he turned around he bumped into someone and ended up spilling it. He looked at the person he had bumped into it and saw it was Jin.
"Hoseok. I'm so sorry, here let me buy you a new one." Jin said and helped Hoseok clean it up.
"Hey. It's okay." Hoseok said but Jin already ordered an ice tea and a coffee. Jin payed for them both and they went outside to talk.
"So what did you want to talk about?" Jin asked taking a sip of his coffee.
"I want to get back together." Hoseok said not hesitating one bit to tell him. Jin looked into Hoseok's eyes and then let them drop.
"You saw Yoongi with that boy didn't you? I saw them on my way here. He seemes happy." Jin said and seemed geniue happy for Yoongi.
"Yeah I did." Hoseok said and Jin looked up at him again.
"I want to get back together too." Jin said, giving a smile. "I think today is that one day we meet again and can be together." Jin said referring to the conversation they had six months ago and making Hoseok smile too.
"Yes. Today is defently that day." Hoseok said moving so he could kiss Jin. They stayed on the cafe talking for a while before going out to eat dinner. Hoseok knew that this time it was right. They had given each other space and even though Hoseok would forever feel guilty because of what he did, he loved Jin and that what was taking over his mind and body. The future with Jin looked bright even though Yoongi wasn't in it, he knew Jin always would be.
