Ugh, I'm so sad... TT
Why do I get distracted so easily?! I want to write for you guys and upload a bunch of chapters, but my concentration is almost non-existent... Like, I start writing a chapter, and after two minutes I'm philosophing about unicorn rabbits or lettuce with the same effects as weed... What's wrong with me TT.
Anyways, this is the 2nd chapter of the week before my leave to France. From now on, there'll be 2 new chapters every week, which will be indicated at the top of each chapter (something like: Chapter 1/2 of the week) If I don't manage the quota, the necessary chapters will be added in the queue. I was also thinking about setting up a Patreon so that you can sponsor extra chapters or something (sorry, I also like money), but I'm one lazy shit, so it might take a while. Let me know what you think of the whole Patreon idea in the comments (^y^)

The first person I saw was a young, blonde girl who ran at top-speed towards us. Right behind her were a slightly older black-haired girl and a grey-haired demi-human girl who were seemingly trying to stop the blonde girl from running too fast.
All of them were followed by a small crowd of guards running to stop the other girls from sprinting. It was a truly a funny scene to behold.
When she saw me turn around, she started screaming my name at the top of her lungs:
"Sir Toru! Sir Toru!"
"Kita, don't shout at our benefactor!"
"Kita, stop shouting! You're disgracing the benefactor!"
The little blonde girl called Kita finally went quiet when she heard the furious roars of the girls behind her, though she kept running at a speed which outpaced even the beastmen. According to [Divine Eye], she was using a movement skill called [Gale Feet].
Finally, the whole crowd arrived in front of us. The three girls, though they ran at the fastest pace possible awkwardly stood in front of me while the guards who had caught up with them didn't know whether or not they should apprehend the small girls.
I smiled at their indecisive looks and decided to save them:
"So, what did you call me for?"
I directed my gaze at the youngest girl who flustered when she noticed everyone was looking at her.
"Euhm... W-we wanted to r-repay our be-benefactor..."
The girl's voice faltered a few times because of the unforeseen attention. Seeing the girl like that, the grey-haired demi-human girl tried to help:
"We wanted to meet the benefactor to offer our service as a way to pay back our debt".
"... I see"
I had already suspected as much as I vaguely recognized them.
"Then", I asked," what can you do?"
Though I'll also check using [Divine Eye], I'll see whether or not they speak the truth as some sort of small test.
Right when the grey-haired girl wanted to speak, I interrupted them:
"Before that, what're your names?"
The grey-haired girl who was the eldest stepped forward and bowed a full 90 degrees.
"My name is Siracte. It's an honour to meet the benefactor"
She then straightened herself up again, and nudged the second oldest girl to speak up as she was slightly hesitant.
Upon the encouragement of Siracte, she stepped forward as well and slightly bowed her head.
"... Myhn..." (AN: pronunciation is something like "mean", just so you know)
The black-haired girl only said her name, so Siracte spoke up again:
"Apologies, benefactor, but Myhn can't talk all too well..."
"It's alright, I don't mind"
Siracte breathed out in relief when she heard I wasn't offended. She then turned herself to the youngest member of their group, but she had already stepped forward and started her introduction:
"Hello benefactor, my name is Kita, I'm 13 years old this year and I like pink and cookies and nice people, but I don't like creepy things and monsters and dark pl-"
Unlike her previous self who was rather flustered when she spoke, she was now like a high-speed train as her words came rolling down like a sudden downpour.
Fortunately, Siracte interrupted the young girl by taking the word once again.
"I'm sorry for Kita's behaviour, benefactor"
"You shouldn't be so worried, I thought it was both funny and interesting. Kita's a nice girl"
"Thank you, benefactor"
Seems like Siracte had the leading role in the group. It was understandable though, since she was the eldest and the other two girls weren't really heroes when it came to social skills. (AN: When I'm comfortable, I'm Kita, when I'm not, I'm Myhn)
"Well then, once again, what can you do?"
Siracte was still the very first to answer:
"I have cleaning skills, and I also can hunt some small animals"

She was, unexpectedly, a martial artist. [Claws of the Wild] seemed to be what her martial arts skill was called, but it didn't sound familiar. The rest of her skills were pretty basic. Being able to track seemed to be a racial skill, while her ability to wield a spear was most likely because of her being a warrior of her tribe.
The only thing that came as a surprise were her stats. She was actually at the level of class B or A, which is really good, certainly at that age.
"What about Myhn?", I asked the black-haired girl.
"... Cook... Clean..."
Once again, she didn't use a lot of words, so I just checked her Status as well.

"I can talk a lot, and, you know, be like super cute and be friendly and-"
The rest of her words didn't enter my ears anymore as I was astounded to see her words were actually correct.

Dangerous. This girl is dangerous. She just said whatever she wanted, but just by looking at her skills and titles, she was definitely not an innocent 13-year-old girl.
I needed to think for a while. These three girls all seemed quite ordinary, but one was a strong demi-human warrior, the other was an assassin with experience and the last one acted like a cute, young girl while she was actually extremely cunning and deceiving.
Why were these three extraordinary girls together?
