|| Marabelle ||

"My head hurts," I groaned to Mallory the next morning as I pulled myself onto the kitchen island and then lay down on it.

"Then you shouldn't have drunk so much," She laughed as she made me some coffee. The only reason she's not hungover is because she spent the night making out with Scott and not drinking.

"Shut upppp," I whined.

"Freddie and Scott are gonna be over in a bit with a nice greasy breakfast just fo' you," She told me, kissing my head and pinching my cheeks.

"Thank god," I sighed.

"So Freddie brought you home last night?" She asked me as she propped herself up on the island as well.

"Hmm," I hummed.

"Please tell me you weren't drunk enough to undress in front of him. You have a habit of doing that," She laughed.

I groaned as I remembered how I didn't give a damn as I paraded around my room in my cute pink undies while Freddie was there. Okay well not parading but walking all the way to my dresser.

"Omg you did!" She squealed.

"Shut up!" I hissed. "My head is sore!"

"Oops, sorry," She giggled.

Twenty minutes later Scott and Freddie had arrived.

"Marabelle, why are you lying on the counter?" Scott asked me with a laugh.

"Its an island," I corrected. "And I feel like my head's about to explode."

"Well don't worry about it. We've got your back," Freddie said. "Pancakes, waffles and bacon and coke as well."

"Y'all gonna be blessed," I mumbled as I struggled to sit up.

After making our way to the living room, Mallory dished up for all of us while I downed a bottle of coke.

"Hey, Mara?" Scott said to me while we were eating breakfast.

"Hmm?" I mumbled through a mouth full of waffle.

"The three of us wanna head down to the beach. You keen to come with?" He asked.

"No," I groaned. "I'm gonna sleep."

"Aw, come on, nugget. You've even got that cute new bikini you've been wanting to wear for ages now," Mallory said to me.

"That bikini is cute..." I mumbled.

"And its gonna bring alllll the boys to the yard," She persuaded.

"Ugh, fine," I agreed.

After we had finished off breakfast I was forced to take the worlds shortest shower by Mallory and then I changed into the cute baby blue strappy bikini and a pair of shorts and tank top before packing all the essentials into my beach bag.

"Marabelle! Let's go!" Mal screeched from the living room.

"She needs to calm down," I mumbled as I quickly threw my portable charger, sunglasses and sunscreen into my bag and then slipped on my shoes and grabbed my phone before going back to the living room.

"You take for-ever!" Mal sighed as the four of us exited the apartment.

"I'm tired and about to die. Shut up," I groaned.

The drive to the beach in Scott's SUV was spent with me and Mal jamming out to our car ride playlist.

"Last night took an L, but tonight I bounce back
Wake up every morning, by the night I count stacks
Knew that ass was real when I hit it, it bounce back
You aint getting checks
Last night took an L, but tonight I bounce back
Boy, I been broke as hell, cashed a check and bounced back
D town LAX, every week I bounce back
If you a real one, then you know how to bounce back."

Big Sean is totally bae and so is this song.

The guys in the front seat were looking back at us with amused grins but Mal and I didn't really care. We were having way too much fun.

"Ooooh! Damn girl!" Mal hit her dabs hard and cheered me on as I flawlessly rapped the whole verse while she snapchatted it. I should seriously consider a change in career.

When we had gotten to the beach, we managed to find a nice grass patch up on the boardwalk to set up our towels on. After striping out of my shorts and tank, I lay down on the towel and let the sun beat down on my skin.

"Mara, Freddie, y'all not coming in with us?" I heard Mal ask Freddie and I.

"Not me, fam," I shook my head.

"Nah, I'm good for now," Freddie said.

After Mal and Scott had headed into the water, I turned to Freddie who I found was already looking at me.

"You feeling okay?" He asked.

"Yeah, I'm good. Just a little headache," I replied.

"You didn't even drink that much. You have dangerously low tolerance levels," He said with a teasing smile.

"That, unfortunately, is true," I sighed with a laugh. "My daddy would kill me if he found out I drank that much though."

"Southern parents strictness?" He asked knowingly.

"You have no idea," I said. "As far as they're concerned, I'm their little good girl who goes to school and the dance studio and doesn't do anything wrong. If they knew all the shit I did here, they'd prolly drag me right back to Charlotte and make sure I never leave the house."

"My parents are city folk so they know all the shit I do. Doesn't phase them though. As long as I stay in school and don't do drugs, I'm good," He laughed.

"Well as soon as I graduate then I'll finalllly be independent enough to do my own stuff," I giggled.

"But I think its cool that your parents care so much that they wanna keep you on a tight leash," He said.

"Y'all still make you live at home, yeah?"

"Yep," He nodded. "My mom won't let me leave until I've graduated."

"Mommas boy," I teased.

"Proudly so," He grinned.

A little while later Freddie and I decided to head into the water.

"Ugh, its so warrrm," I sighed with a smile as I splashed him with some water.

"Hey, don't splash me!" He laughed as he splashed me back.

"Hypocrite," I giggled as I splashed him back.

Our splashing war continued for a little while until he suddenly grabbed my wrists and pulled me closer to him.

"I must tell you, Freddie. I don't appreciate being manhandled," I said to him with a playful smirk.

"And I don't appreciate being splashed but hey, here we are," He smirked back.

For a second our gazes locked and I found myself being drawn to him. I watched his gaze flicker down to my lips and then back up to my eyes and for a second I really, really wanted to kiss him.

"Freddie...we need to stop staring at each other like this," I murmured.

"Why?" He mumbled.

"Because inevitably the sexual tension will become unbearable and then we'll end up kissing and then things might be a little awkward afterwards," I said honestly.

"Would us kissing be such a bad thing?" He asked.

"Um...no. Well I mean, I wouldn't mind..." I mumbled.

"Well since you brought it up, we probably should. You know, just to break the ice. Because I don't know about you, Belle, but I feel like if we don't we'll both just end up thinking about it the whole time and then things are really gonna be awkward between us," He said straightforwardly.

"Woah, zero to one hundred real quick," I giggled. "But yeah, I get what you're saying. Okay."

Freddie wasted no time pulling me closer and then pressing his lips against mine. Our lips moved rhythmically against each other while his hands explored my body before settling them on my hips.

I felt myself melting inside as our tongues molded perfectly together. A small moan left my mouth as I felt him gently squeeze my butt before we pulled away.

"Sorry. I just couldn't resist," He said with a small grin as he moved his hands back to my hips.

"S'okay," I laughed. "So...we got that out of the way. Feel awkward?"

"Nope, not at all. You?"

"No, fam," I shook my head.

"Cool," He nodded.

"So um, I'm keen for ice-cream. Let's go?" I suggested.

"Yeah, okay," He said before we made our way out of the water.

Although that kiss was just meant to clear the sexual tension that would have mounted up between us, my lips still felt tingly and my insides were doing flips because holy hell, I really liked Kissing Freddie Rivers.
