it's easy to love a happy person,
but true beauty begins
when you reach out to the person
with a storm cloud hovering
above their head
and decide share your sun with them.
of course,
loving someone
who's naturally optimistic
will be utterly bright and pretty,
but a relationship based
off of that other-wordly trust
and determination;
loving someone despite
their reluctance to life
and doing the same;
showing them that it's okay -
that light still exists -
is stronger than anything.
it's breathtaking in all its...
wonder.
and as you grow together,
you'll reach that indescribable
happiness together.
as they say,
"happiness is a journey"
and someone is waiting
and willing
to take you on it.
