Chapter Thirty Two
*Recap*
Maize's POV
The ground starts to shake.
I slip on the icy floor falling over landing on my back holding Charlie in the air so she won't get hurt.
I sit up holding Charlotte close.
"Alec what's happening?" I ask in fear.
Isabella starts to cry louder her eyes still yellow.
"I don't know but come here babe" he says.
I stand up and carefully start to walk over to him, the ground still shaking violently.
Suddenly the ground splits in half. Alec and I are both on different sides.
"Maize get back, don't go near the crack" Alec yells. I start crying.
"I'm scared" I cry.
Theirs a bright flash and the house starts to fall.
Charlie starts to cry.
I hold her closely crying and trying not to get hit with falling bricks.
I hear screaming and I scream for Alec.
"I will find you Maize I promise, keep Charlotte safe" Alec yells.
"Don't go!" I scream not knowing what's happening?
"I love you-" Alec yelled before something hit my head.
I fell on my back hitting my head off the icy floor.
I still managed to hold Charlie tightly.
The last thing I heard was Charlie's cries before everything went black.

Maize's POV
"Maize wake up" I hear a girl say.
I slowly open my eyes blinking a couple times as they adjust to the light.
"What happened? Who are yo- WAIT Katie?" I say after I realize it's my twin.
She nods and I quickly hug her.
"Where are we?" I ask.
"Back on Earth in a secret location" she says.
"What happen? Where's Alec? Oh my god! Where's Charlie and Isabella?" I say screaming at the end.
"You and Alec got attacked and someone tried to take you but Taylor and I grabbed you first. Alec is in another country with Taylor also in hiding" she begins.
"Charlie is sleeping and Alec has Bella" she finishes.
"I want to see Charlie" I say.
She looks nervously at me.
She got up and walked towards a room, I followed her and she opened the door leaving it open for me to follow.
I walk in and their was a little crib in the corner beside a bed.
I walked over and looked I'm the crib.
I gasp, Charlie looked like she was at least 4 months old already!
She started to grow hair and it was pretty long for her age.
Almost down to her shoulders.
Her hair is growing really fast. I notice on the right side she has a single mint green highlight.
It stands out in her light brown hair.
It looks really pretty though.
"How long have I been out?" I ask.
"2 weeks, oh yeah you missed are birthday! We're 15 yeah" she says trying to brighten my mood but it doesn't work.
I missed my birthday and my baby has aged 4 months in 2 weeks.
"Why is she ageing so fast?" I ask.
"Ma-ma" Says a cute little voice.
I look back at Charlie and she was wide wake staring at me with her beautiful mint green eyes, kicking her legs and smiling.
"Ma-ma" she repeated giggling. My eyes widen, my baby is talking!
"She hasn't spoken before!" Katie quickly says.
I smile and pick Charlie up kissing her chubby cheeks.
"Her hair is long for her age" I say, Katie nods.
"Do you have any food I'm starving" I say. She laughs but shakes her head.
"I'll order pizza. Oh and this is your room btw" she say.
I laugh but nod and she leaves the room.
I stay behind and walk over to the bed laying Charlie down on the bed.
I sit beside her and play with her, she is so adorable and smart.
Alec's POV
I lay in bed holding Isabella in my arms as she sleeps.
She's grown a lot in the past 2 weeks.
She's at least 4 months now.
She has blonde hair that goes to her shoulders, on the left side she has one ocean blue highlight.
It looks good.
But her hairs grown faster then normal babies, and she's grown faster too.
I found out for sure that her eyes change colour depending on her mood.
Her normal eye colour is an ocean blue.
When she's scared her eyes are yellow, when she's mad their red, when she's happy their bright pink, when she's sad their grey, when she's grumpy their dark blue, when she's tired their a light pink.
Theirs probably gonna be more as she ages but for now that's all I know.
"We need to go" Taylor says loudly walking into my room.
Isabella whines before she starts to cry.
I shoot Taylor a dirty look before picking Bella up rocking her in my arms.
"Shhhh it's ok" I coo.
She opens her little eyes at the sound of my voice.
Her eyes are yellow in fear but are slowly turning a mix between ocean blue and dark blue.
She slowly stops crying and I give her, her bottle of formula she happily starts to drink it, her eyes turning a light pink showing she's tired.
Her eyes start to flutter closed as she drinks her bottle.
"We don't have all day know! They're searching the rooms" Taylor says.
I get up still holding Bella.
I grab her diaper bag and pick her blanket off the bed putting it in the bag.
I grab a couple of her little toys and out them in the bag.
I grab the jar of formula and put it in the bag with a bottle of water before zipping the bag up and following Taylor out of the room.
"Where are we going now?" I ask.
We've been changing hotels all day!
I'm tired and just want to sleep, some where safe.
Where I know my baby girl is safe.
I hope Katie is keeping Maize and Charlotte safe. I wish I could be with her but it's to dangerous.
Someone is out to kill me and the "Rare" merperson.
They think it's Isabella cause she's with me, but their wrong! Charlotte is the "Rare" merperson.
I just hope Maize won't go back to her old ways, I get chills just thinking about it.
The last time I left she lost it! She went back to her past, she almost died.
God I'm so fucking stupid! How could I leave her, again?
She going to go back and this time she's won't come back.
Nyla's POV
I wake up to the sound of my mom calling me.
Yes my mom, I moved back in once Collin disappeared, I wasn't allowed be left alone knowing my old drug problem plus I'm pregnant so they didn't want me to go into labour when I'm home alone.
I slowly sit up wiping the sleep form my eyes.
She tells me someone's at the door for me.
I tiredly groan but get up to see who it is.
When I get their Artemis is standing their, in the rain. I let her in and close the door.
"Hey what's wrong?" I ask once I realize she's crying.
"Alec, Maize, and the twins are gone" she cries.
"What do you mean their gone?" I ask confused.
"I mean their Gone! Dead! NEVER Coming Back!" She cries.
I freeze. What?
I quickly run back to my room and grab my cell, clicking on Maize's contact.
It rings and goes straight to voice mail. I call Alec and his also goes straight to voice mail.
I run down stairs and push Artemis out of the way and open the door running into the freezing rain in my bare feet and oversized T-shirt.
I start crying as I run towards Alec and Maize's house.
I can hear sirens (Yes their is emergency services in Olympus, in this book) as I get closer, I freeze.
"Nooooo" I scream pulling at my hair and crying loudly.
Their house is completely knocked over.
Paramedics are pushing 2 gurneys with a body bag on each one.
Each the size of Maize or Alec.
I break down crying and fall to the cold, hard, wet, and muddy pavement.
Their gone.
Alec, Maize, Isabella, and Charlotte are all gone!
Their all gone, their gone and never coming back!
I get up and start to run, I can't do this anymore!
Maize and Alec were the only reason I was living.
They actually cared about me unlike anyone in my past.
I kept running until I saw the forest, I ran in it until I found my old tree house.
I ran up the steps and opened the door.
It was still perfectly clean and everything.
I ran over to the corner where a baby doll crib with a couple dolls was.
I grabbed the doll with light pink hair and ripped off its head, I turned the headless doll upside down and shake it.

6 little white pills fall out, I smile as I bring them to my mouth. These 6 pills will take me to a better place!
Alec's POV
"Let's go, why'd you even bring that thing? You could've just left it and not worried about it" Taylor says.
I gasp, how could he be so mean!
Who in their right mind would just leave a helpless baby on their own!
Who would even think of doing that???
"Go" I say and point to the door. He laughs.
"Get out now" I say again.
"I'm not going anywhere, anytime soon" he smirks evilly. I gasp, oh my fucking god!
"Y...your?" I stutter, holding Isabella tighter, slowly backing away until my back hits the wall.
"Surprise" he smirks.

Oh my god, plot twist! Lol, so how was this chapter? I hope it not to short?

What do you think is going to happen?
Do you think Maize is going to be ok or will she start to miss Alec to much?
What happened in Maize's past? Will she go back? Will she keep Charlotte safe?
So everyone in Olympus thinks Maize, Alec and the twins are dead! Nyla saw 2 body bags being taken away, who's in them?
