Okay" she said as she swallowed still in the serious mood
"The guy who took your sister and you, is still out there" I told her as fear grew on her face
"What are we going to do?" She asked her voice getting shaky. I paused not knowing what to say or due. I took a deep breath and then jumping to fill the silence.
"I'm not sure, but you are safe" I told her knowing it wasn't enough
"Derek that's not enough" she told me as tears filled her eyes
"You have Alex and me. I'll have Mark be close" I told her as I rubbed my thumb over her hand
"Okay" she whispered as tears spilled down her cheeks. I pulled her into a tight hug, holding her tight.
Alex's point of view:
I sat in my room thinking of how messed up things are. Meredith and Lexie are falling apart. Derek is worried about Meredith, and of course the man who kidnapped Lexie and Meredith is still out there. I feel awful about scaring Derek so much. My eyes start to fall as I began to think about my best friend, sleep slowly overcomes me.
Meredith's point of view:
The smell of alcohol fills my nostrils. He steps closer to my little sister. I need to speak, I'm too weak to. Darkness overcomes me as I hear light whimpers.
No no no! This can't be happening stop! Please don't do this to my sister! Oh Meredith pleading in your head won't work!
The blackness starts to go away. Lexie is terrified at of the event that had happened.
"Lex, we'll be okay" I told her as she started to sob hysterically. "Shhh, he's going to come back" I whispered trying to move closer to her. I couldn't, there was chains pulling me to the cold cement wall.
She soon started to tug at the chains making the sound echo off of the walls.
The door knob started to turn, and the lock clicked. Fear grew in my stomach as I seen his foot enter the room. He turned to face me, his face grim and dark.
"So" he said as he clasped his hands together. "Who's next?" He asked grinning
"Screw you!" I yelled with all of the power I could. But it only came out as a screech. My voice was scratchy and weak.He started to walk toward me smiling and shaking his slightly to the left. "Please let us go" I pleaded slightly crying
"I'm not done with you guys yet" he said as he came closer and closer.
"Meredith! Meredith! You're okay" I heard his voice again. But it was Derek. I woke up feeling being overwhelmed in sweat and tears streaming down my face. My heavy breathing started to fade away. I felt safe, but scared at the same time. As I sat up I pulled Derek towards me, wrapping my arms around his body.
"He rapped Lexie" I sobbed into his shoulder, holding him tight. I felt the warm embrace of him holding me, laying his head on my shoulder
"In your dream?" He asked
"And me! It was so awful! It felt so real!" I cried into his shoulder
"Meredith, I'm so, so sorry" he told me rubbing my back
"Don't be s-sorry" I told him
"Why? Meredith whatever you're going through I'm going through it also" He said as we pulled apart.
"Derek?" I asked finally calm
"Yes?" He said confused
"I love you" I told him smiling
"Meredith, I love you too and I always will" he told me as he kissed me passionately
