Ok so here's an update, I promised I'd update again after I got 4 comments and I have like 6 so here it is!
ALSO there's only 10 more chapters left of this book, that includes this chapter. (So there technically 9 chapters left)
I still don't know if I want to make a sequel? But anyways I hope you like this chapter and sorry if it's short but the next chapter will be longer I promise!

Chapter Thirty One (Part 2- Intruder)
*Recap*
Maize's POV
The guards run over to me and grab Isabella.
"What are you doing? Give me my baby" I say scared and confused.
"Theirs an intruder and we were told to take the children and protect them" a guard says.
I nod still upset and confused.
Why can't I just hold my baby and they stand informs of me?
Suddenly I hear a familiar scream.
"Nyla" I yell.
I run past the guards and into the hallway.
She screams again and I follow it to a closed door.
I hear whispering and listen for a moment as it goes silent.
"Ace don't" Nyla cries. I quickly open the door.
"Noooo" I scream as Ace......

Maize's POV
"Noooo" I screamed as Ace slapped Nyla across the face so hard she fell.
He was about to hit her again when I screamed and ran in front of her putting my hand out in front of me making Ace freeze.
"Stop it" I yelled.
"Maize move" Ace roared. What's wrong with him?
"No" I say.
"Move now" he screams.
"No" I say again.
"Maize fucking move right now or I swear to god-"Ace was yelling but I cut him off.
"Fucking move or I swear to god" I mimic him.
"Move out of my way!" He screams.
"Move out of my way" I mimic.
Ace raises his hand to hit me and I wait for the impact but a flash of lighting strikes him and he falls to the floor.
I turn around confused.
"I'm sorry I didn't want to hurt him but he was gonna hurt you! I didn't mean to I'm sorry" Nyla cried.
I hug her and guards run in.
Why do they always show up after something bad has happened.
Alec runs in holding Isabella. Wait who's watching Charlie.
"Where's Charlie?" I ask. He smirks.
"Right here" he says. She grew legs!
"She has legs now?" I ask.
"Yeah, the guards made me get I out of the water with her and she air dried and grew legs" he replied.
I quickly but carefully grab Charlie from him hugging her tightly and kissing her forehead.
"Where's Bella?" I ask.
Zeus walks in holding her, Awwww she's with her grandp- Oh snap she just spite up all over him.
"What a lovely present" Zeus jokes.
He holds Bella out in front of him for someone to take her.
Alec carefully grabs her holding her close.
We walk out of the room, the guards taking Ace's body, and another takes Nyla's down to Artemis to get checked out incase anything else happened.
Alec and I start to walk back to are house.
"So I heard your birthdays is next week" Alec smiles.
"Yeah" I say.
"What do you want to do that day?" He asks. I shrug?
"Surprise me?" I questions. He chuckle but nods.
We get to are house and go inside, it's completely trashed.
Their were words written everywhere saying they'll find me and kill me.
Bella started to cry. I look down in Alec's arms, Bella's eyes wide in fear.
Wait a minute her eyes are yellow?
"Alec" I say.
"Yeah?" He replies.
"Isabella's eyes are yellow" I say. He looks down at her, he thinks for a moment.
"Maybe her eyes show her mood? Blue could be her normal colour?" He says.
I shrug, we'll find out soon. I hear the sound of water and look down.
The house is starting to fill with water?
What the hell is going on?
I look over to Alec scared and he's awkwardly standing in a dry area holding Isabella close and trying not to get wet.
I look down in my arms at Charlie still holding her tightly. She is watching the water her eyes not leaving it.
She waves her hands around smiling. The water freezes!
"How'd she do that?" I ask.
"Do what?" Alec asks.
"Charlotte, she froze the water" I say. He smiles.
"She's discovered one of her abilities(powers)" Alec says.
I'm about to answer but the ground starts to shake.
I slip on the icy floor falling over landing on my back holding Charlie in the air so she won't get hurt.
I sit up holding Charlotte close.
"Alec what's happening?" I ask in fear.
Isabella starts to cry louder her eyes still yellow.
"I don't know but come here babe" he says.
I stand up and carefully start to walk over to him, the ground still shaking violently.
Suddenly the ground splits in half. Alec and I are both on different sides.
"Maize get back, don't go near the crack" Alec yells. I start crying.
"I'm scared" I cry.
Theirs a bright flash and the house starts to fall.
Charlie starts to cry.
I hold her closely crying and trying not to get hit with falling bricks.
I hear screaming and I scream for Alec.
"I will find you Maize I promise, keep Charlotte safe" Alec yells.
"Don't go!" I scream not knowing what's happening?
"I love you-" Alec yelled before something hit my head.
I fell on my back hitting my head off the icy floor.
I still managed to hold Charlie tightly.
The last thing I heard was Charlie's cries before everything went black.

Wow what just happened?
Did Alec and Maize just get split up? Did Alec leave? Does he have Isabella and is she safe?
What will happen to Maize? Is Charlotte ok?
Do you think Nyla is ok?
Is Ace dead? Did Nyla kill him when she struck him with lighting?
