Sinundan ko na si Mico. Baka kasi mamaya pa niyan pag-ibig na maging bato pa.
"Micooooo!"
Ginawa ko lahat ng makakaya ko para lang abutan siya.
I spread my arms at tangkang hinarangan siya but he refused. Ahhh nagtatampo nga ang my labs ko. I therefore conclude.
Hindi ko alam pero there's a part of me na imbis gustong magsorry ay lalo pa siyang inisin. Pero wag nalang baka kasi mas lalo pa akong mahirapang suyuin ang labs ko.
Finally huminto siya at tiningnan ako ng seryoso
"Mico" I said seriously.
"I'm sorry if I did not believe you easily. Maybe I still don't have that much of trust to myself and to.... you. Don't get me wrong hah I'm just being honest. Alam mo na dapat mag-isip muna tayo pag may time bago magkaroon ng commitment. Hehe. Pero kung di mo na talaga mapigilan ang bugso ng damdamin mo para sa akin which is hindi maiiwasan kasi nga maganda naman talaga ako at dapat di na pakawalan at masabing the one that got away, kasi diba imagine Kane na yun oh tapos papakawalan mo pa? Kaya di rin kita masisisi kasi I'm really a good catch talaga. Hehe you know, just sayin'."
This time hindi ko na mabasa kung anong nasa isip niya. Masinsinan ko siyang tinitigan for a matter of seconds tapos kumunot ang noo niya.
Ano kayang nasa isip ng lalakeng ito?
Oh my baka narealize niyang hindi niya pala talaga ako mahal. No!! Hindi pwede.
"I really WAS angry. But not until now."
I can feel my heart gone dug.dug.dug. Kilig much. Ewan wala namang nakakakikilig dun but still kinilig ako. I guess that's the Power of Love version 1.0.
Pero I can't help myself from asking question.
"Bakit hindi na?"
"Because I realized that I can't afford to be mad at the person I love."
He smiled and continued walking. From that I was left dumbfounded.
Nung nakabalik na ako sa sarili ko I followed him.
"So.... you... really... love... me?"
"If I say yes, would you now believe me miss conceited rule breaker?"
"Those words are so painful but why when it comes from your mouth it is like music to my ears?"
"I guess that's I love you too. So let's go?"
He started walking again. Sana manlang hinawakan niya yung kamay ko or inakbayan manlang. Mas effort sana kung may action hindi yung panay yaya at salita lang siya. He has sweet and cheezy words but has tasteless actions as well.
Kumbaga yung salita niya mouthwatering desserts pero yung actions niya mga ulam na hindi nalagyan ng pampalasa, patay, tasteless. Grrr.
Anyhow I still love him.
"Teka naman oh! Dahan dahan lang sa paglalakad."
He did not answere me even a single freaking word!! But again that's how he is and maybe I love it him being that even if I it is not lovable at all.
After being sweet nagpapakasungit at pa mysterious effect nanaman siya. And that made him even cooler... plus he's hot specially habang cool na cool siyang naglalakad while his hands are on his pockets. How I liked it more if it is holding my hands.
I giggled at that thought.
"What are you thinking?"
"Oh that? I'm just thinking na what if your hands are holding mine, that would be sweeter than that of just letting me follow you, you know. You should do sweet things kasi lalo na at you confessed your love for me just a matter of minutes ago. Suggestion lang naman."
"You're unbelievable." he chuckled then held my hand. "Happy?"
"Very much."
I smiled, a wide one.
"Teka saan tayo pupunta?"
"Room."
"Agad adad? Bakit?"
"We have class."
"Pero may fifteen minutes pa."
"We don't wanna be late. Do we?"
"I don't mind being late at all you know. Can we ditch insetead?"
Tinaas baba ko ang kilay ko habang sinusuggest ang maganda kong ideya.
"No."
"Why not?'
"Because I said so."
"You're not the boss of me."
"But please do not forget that you are asking the president of this school to ditch class with you. Plus it is a major offense to ditch classes----"
I cut him off. Oo nga pala. Siya nga pala ang presidente dito. He is the role model. He is mister perfect. Bakit ba siya pa ang niyaya ko. Ayan tuloy naglitanya pa siya. Pinangaralan pa ako. Pusang gala maling tao ang nayaya ko.
"Okay okay papasok na mister man of responsibilities."
"Good job."
Tahimik kaming naglalakad and suddenly napangiti siya. That's unusual. Ano kayang iniisip niya?
"Bakit ka ngumingiti?"
"It's ironic. Very funny." he said half smiling.
"Ano nga yun?" iritable kong tanong. Hindi nalang kasi sumagot ng diretso. Baka mamaya ibang babae ang dahilan ng ngiti na yan. Naku tatapyasan ko talaga ang perpektong mapupulang labi na yan.
"Imagine, I'm the rule and you're the rule breaker and we're loving each other. I guess opposite really attracts."
He sure is witty for being able to think of that. A smart logic indeed.
Hindi ko maitatangging napangiti din ako sa ideya niya yun.
The ruler + the rule breaker = L-O-V-E
Funny but sweet. Weird logic but witty enough. Man of responsibilities and the ruler but fell in love with the conceited happy go lucky rule breaker like me.
Isn't it sweet?
