"Hi, please take one.", I said to the lady before she walked into the grocery store, but she held her hand up and shook it. I frowned, another one. Damn.
"Don't worry Lexi, there going to be some people that care.", Angelo said.
"These people want a stupid shopping complex.", I said, dropping my hands to the side in deft. "We've been here an hour and only gave out eight."
"It's only our first day, you knew it wasn't going to be that easy. But echoun pisti.", he said, telling me to have faith.
"I want to, but ugh! I really want to win this Angelo. Levi and his family run out there and it isn't right—"
"Run?", Angelo questioned. "What do you mean run our there? Isn't there wolves in some part of your woods?"
Realizing what I was saying, I covered my tracks, "I just meant, Levi's family is a very active family and they like to run on the outskirts of the woods. Even, the wolves stay to themselves.", I said, turning away cause I couldn't look at him since I was lying. It's hard to lie in front of Angelo.
"You know Lexi, it is kind weird how much you and Levi spend time together. I mean, you say you can't stand him or you hate him but you still spend lots of—"
"Flyer?", I questioned, cutting Angelo off and walked towards the lady and she took it and gave me a smile before going into the store. When I saw Angelo mouth opened, I lifted up my hand, "Do you think I should get my nails done? I never had fake nails and I was thinking about getting them—",
"You are changing the subject," he said.
My mouth dropped and I gave him a shock look, "I am not! I was really thinking about it—",
"Your lying, I know you are. Because for one, you don't gave a load of crap about your nails cause you chew on them like they are gum and second, you have this nervous look in your eyes.", he said. "Lexi, I'm your best friend. You should be able to talk to me about this.",
My head snapped to him, "What are you? My Yiayia in disguise? Because she said the same thing to me last night."
He put his arm around my shoulder, "Come on, lets take a walk. Not much people are here anyways. Lets take a nice long walk and talk."
"What are you? My dad now?", I questioned, but followed beside him.
"Okay, so tell me how you feel when you hear Levi name being brought up?", he questioned.
"Annoyance. Stress. Childish. A head ache. Wanna punch him in the face.", I said and Angelo gave me a stern look. "But, excitement. Happiness. I feel like a match was lit off. I feel like I want to smile and think about him even when I don't want. How his blonde hair when it was long a perfect messy style but how much of a man he looks now that it's cut How handsome and sexy he is in his police uniform. Those gorgeous sea blue eyes that have that perfect hint of purple in them make me want to melt. He makes me feel a perfect height when his arms are around me even though I'm short. How his bottom lip is fuller than his top and—", I stopped babbling when I realized I was outweighing the good and I had this huge Waking-Up-On-Christmas morning looks. "I-I-I mean, but he's mostly annoying.", I said, bring my hand up to my mouth and chewing down on them.
"So I repeat from yesterday, your in love with him.", he said and I opened my mouth to argue but he held up his finger, "Ah, no. Don't argue, just agree. Look at what you just said, you just admitted what you love about him.",
I snorted, "Worry about your own love life.", I said, then regretted it. "Sorry, Angelo.", I said, giving him a apologetic look. It's hard to find a gay guy in Greece since it'll mean dishonor and humiliation in the family. I mean, Angelo got kicked out of his house because of it.
He sighed heavily, "It's okay, Lexi. But I'll admit, that's the other reason why I'm here in a America.",
I crossed my arms over my chest and grinned, "Ahh, so you didn't come for me. You just needed a place to stay.",
"Is it wrong to say that's true?", he asked and I hit his arm. He chuckled and shook his head, "No, no, I'm just playing. I really am here because I did miss you, but it would have been nice to hang out with a guy while I was here. But instead, I got stuck with a girlfriend.", he said tiredly. "And damn, is she stressful.",
I hit his arm again, "Hey, I've been told I'm totally fun to have around.",
"By whom I may ask?", he asked, raising a eyebrow.
My cheeks heated up, "My Yiayia.", I said and he gave me a look to push rather. I sighed and groaned, "Fine and Levi!",

I was playfully playing around with Angelo at the park on the swing set. It's where he sat down and I sat on his lap, but we had to work together to turn the swing until we couldn't no more and we lifted up our feet and the swing spun us around quickly.
We squealed in respond, but I cut myself off when I saw a bike appear at the curb and I turned my head around each time our backs fast it and furrowed when my front did. Levi.
The swing set stopped when Levi took off his helmet He got up from the bike and I couldn't help but stare as he walked towards up, looking like the God of war himself.
He stopped in front of us and I lifted my head up to his face since I was staring at his smooth chest, "Thought you were handing out flyer's.", he said, sounding really annoyed.
"We were." I said casually. 'Is there a problem?", I asked innocently, adjusting myself on Angelo lap. I love seeing the jealous look in Levi eyes. Call me evil but I like it. He grabbed me by my upper arm and pulled me up, "Hey, watch it!", I said, taking his hand off me.
"It's Saturday.", he said.
I looked at him confused, "Yeah, so?",
His face dropped, "So? We hang out at my place.",
"No, you blackmail me to go to your place about lying to my parent about going to school when I really went to that concert in Albuquerque.", I said.
He pressed his lips together tightly, wrapping his arm around mine, "Come on, we're going.",
"No!", I said, falling down on my butt like a stubborn child. He groaned and looked down at me in disbelief. "I...I...I," I had to think of something fast. "Sammi having this pool party, I want to go. It's only five, it should be starting by now.",
"A pool party?", he questioned and I nodded. He shook his head, "No, out of the question."
I glared up at him, "I want to go!", I yelled. "I'll go if I want to, I don't need your permission to go. You're not my dad."
"No, but I'm your Bou—", he cut himself off, remembering Levi was here. He cursed under his breath and sighed, "Parties lead to drinking and you are underage, Andria.",
"So your saying I'm to young for you?", I asked teasingly, turning my head to the side and wince, looking at him questionably. His mouth dropped and he stared at me in shock. I got up and wiped my pants off, "Well, nice of you to finally admit it and—",
He yelled behind his closed lips and groaned, "You are sooooo stubborn!", he said. He ran his hands down his face.
"Well I can only go because Sammi want you to go!", I snapped out of no where. I guess I just got angry at him for calling me stubborn and getting angry for nothing. Even, he was the only way I could be allowed to step in her backyard.
"What?", he questioned, looking at me confused. "Why is that girl so obsessed with me?"
I shrugged, "Don't know, don't care.", I said, lying. "But I want to go, but sadly for me to get in her yard you have to go to.",
After arguing about this with him for a few more minutes, he groaned and agreed to go. I told Levi Angelo and I would meet him at Sammi hour in thirty minute and he didn't look happy, but agreed also.
After going home and changing into my black swim suit. It was a bikini, but my button were like shorts and my top wasn't as reveling like most of the girls will be. I threw on a t-shirt and a pair of shorts. I wrapped my hair up in a ponytail and threw on my sandal.
I walked out of my room, almost bumping into Angelo. "Ready?", I asked, grabbing us to towels from the white basket from the bathroom.
"Lexi, don't you think you were a little hard on Levi?", he asked and I gave him a confused look. "I mean, it's like you just like arguing with him.",
I chuckled, "Well, it's the only thing I can do to get what I want. Believe me, Angelo, that was nothing. And well, we kind of do like arguing together, I guess that's what gave us something to do together other than ki...", I trailed off, looking away from him as my cheeks heated up.
"Ahh, I get it.", he said.
"Don't know what you mean.", I said, handing Angelo his towel. We walked out of the bathroom and went downstairs. I hugged my parents and Yiayia, telling them I'm going to a friends house but Yiayia gave me that knowing look, which I ignored since I did meantion Levi would be there.
My parents look surprised, "What?", they both questioned.
My mom put her hand on her hip, "What are you up to, Alexandria?", she questioned.
"Nothing.", I said. I raised the towel, "See, I am. I got invited, I don't want to be bored so we're going.",
"Mh-hmmm.", my dad said. He raised his parent index finger and waved it at me, "You better not be going to Levi house.",
I gave my dad a bored look, "I wouldn't take Angelo to his house after what he did.". Now taking my friend hand, "Now, we're going. We wont be out late, night.", I said, turning us around and lift.
Sammi house is only a few blocks away and it's an easy walk.
When we got there, I was surprise to see Levi's bike here already, but I didn't see him. I looked at Angelo and saw him look around uncomfortably, "You alright?", I asked.
He hesitated, but nodded, "Yeah, just so many people. What if no one likes me here?"
I grinned, "Believe me, a handsome guy like you will be will like and you have that sexy Greek accent. Oh yeah, everyone going to love you. You'll be the light of the party. Hey, the soccer team star player. Well lets say, he likes his boys tan.", I giggled, bopping my hip into his.
He smacked his teeth and playfully pushed me, making me chuckle now. I wrapped my arm around his and walked into Sammi house since the door was open. Some girls looked at me weirdly, wondering why I was here since I was an outcast. But when they saw Angelo, they're eyes lit up giving him flirty smiles.
I leaned up to his ear, "Told ya.", I mocked in his ear.
He rolled his eyes and we walked into the kitchen but I stopped did in my tracks and jealous quickly spilled over me when I saw Levi and Sammi leaned on the isle table.
