Tiffany stared at the creature in the darkness.
"Who...who are you?" She asked puzzled.
A small creature flew from the darkness.
The creature was small digimon. It looked almost like a puppy. It had brown fur, and bright hazel eyes. Around his front paws were gold rings. The puppy digimon flew on a large fluffy cloud.
"My name is Fogmon." He whispered.
"Fogmon?" She asked.
The digimon nodded. "I am an in training level digimon." He announced.
Tiffany smiled softly at the in training level digimon.
"Fogmon...do you know where I am?" She asked.
Fogmon narrowed his eyes. "Right where you filthy humans belong." He snarled.
Tiffany was taken back by Fogmon's crude statement. "Why do you say that?" She asked in shock.
The puppy digimon stared bitterly at her. "I know who you truly are...you are a terrible human being."
Tiffany shook her head. "No...I've changed. I have tons of friends now. Who care about me."
Fogmon chuckles to himself. "I don't see any of them around."
Tiffany bit her lip.
"That's what I thought."
Hypnos Building
Riley was typing away on her computer. "It's a wild one, but I've never seen anythinglike it."
Yamaki clicks his lighter."It's trying to bioemerge. I don't know what
it's bringing along, but it's bigger than a bread box."
Riley gasps. "Unbelievable." Bright light flashed from the computer screen. "Oh! Sir, it succeeded.""
[In the city.]
Rika was walking past people with her hands in her pockets. She had headphones over her ears. And rock music filled the air.
Digivolving. I don't understand it.
(Flashback.)
"Guilmon!" Takato shouted.
Takato's D-power and Guilmon started to glow.
"Guilmon, digivolve to..."
"Growlmon!"
(End Flashback.)
Rika scoffs. "I've seen hamsters with more battle experience than Guilmon, but still, he could digivolve. And so
could that weenie little rabbit." She shook her head.
(Flashback)
"No!" He cried out. Bright lights from Henry's pockets. He pulled his D-power to see it was glowing along with Terriermon.
"Terriermon, digivolve to..."
"Gargomon!"
(End flashback)
Rika looked up into the bright blue sky.
"And when it happened to Renamon..."
(Flashback)
"Please, no. Renamon!" Rika screamed.
Rika's D-power started to glow along with Renamon.
The fox digimon open her eyes in shock.
"Renamon, digivolve to..."
"Kyubimon!"
(End flashback)
"It's what I've wanted for the longest time. I should be satisfied. Still... (she recalls Growlmon being out in the rain the other day. Paint being washed off by the rain) I feel like there's something I'm missing. (Darkness started to appear underneath Rika's feet, a hand from a portal of ice appeared behind her. Rika gasped and looked behind her to see nothing out of the ordinary.) What was that?!" That's weird, I could of sworn I felt something." She thought to herself. She turned back around and gasped.
Calumon appears in front of Rika.
"Hi!" Calumon waves at Rika with a bright smile.
(From a terrace, Impmon watches Henry and Terriermon reading a book on the couch.)
"Ha! They are so stupid, it hurts. They
hang out with humans so much they start acting likethem. It makes my fur stand. Have they no pride?"
(Back in the cage)
Tiffany sits down on the icy floor.
"My friends will come for me." She whispered.
Fogmon smirked. "Why would they come for you Human? You a terrible person. All I need to do is look through your soul. And I can tell it's covered by darkness."
Tiffany snapped. She stood up angrily.
"Can you quit that!" She yelled.
Fogmon floated backwards. He wasn't expecting the blonde to yell at him.
Tears shook in Tiffany's. "My name isn't human. It's Tiffany! Tiffany Jane!"
Fogmon blinkes. "Fine...Tiffany"
"And your wrong!" She spat.
Fogmon looked back up at her.
"I may have done some bad things in the past, but I have learned from my mistakes. My mistakes made me who I am.
"Your a liar" Fogmon growled.
Tiffany was the one to be surprised this time.
"You..." He snarls. "The digimon who works for my master was injured because of you" He shook his head. "Because you couldn't pay for your sins."
The blonde put a hand over her heart as tears appeared in her eyes. "Was it your master, that kidnap me?" She asked.
Fogmon nodded. "Yes, he wants to finish you, himself"
Tiffany felt puzzled as she stares at the in training digimon. "Excuse me for asking. But what are you being locked up?"
Fogmon barred his teeth. "Because I am also paying for my crimes. When my master calls upon-"
A low laugh could be heard from the cell doors.
Fogmon and Tiffany turned to the sound of the laughter.
"It looks like my prisoner has finally awoken." The voice snickered.
Tiffany gasped as she saw the digimon stepped foward. She recognized the digimon from watching digimon adventure. It was Devimon...be he looked diffrent from the one in the show. He had a white body and wings.
The Devimon snickers.
"Of course, I am not like an average Devimon you foolish girl. My name is IceDevimon."
Tiffany raised an eyebrow. IceDevimon...wait...how could he hear my thoughts?
Tiffany stood her ground. "What do you want from me!?" She asked angrily.
"From you child." He laughs hysterically. "I want nothing from you. You may have some potential of becoming a tamer. But you are not the person I am after. You are merely a tool. When I capture the person I seek. I will prove to her, how worthy I am, by killing you and Fogmon." He smiled showing his fangs.
Tiffany gasped as she stared back at the in training level digimon. How could he kill one of the people that works for him? Why would he do that?
IceDevimon smirks. "Because Fogmon has failed me for the last time child."
Fogmon looks down at the ground.
"You see, you have met Fogmon before...but in his rookie stage."
Tiffany gasped as she looked back at the puppy digimon floating in the cloud.
"Tapirmon..." She whispered in surprised.
Fogmon stared coldly at the blonde haired girl. "You did this to me." He snarls.
[Back on the city street.]
Rika is trying to walk away from Calumon. But the small digimon continues to follow her with a huge grin on her face.
Rika looks back at Calumon. "I don't have any food. So why are you following me?"
Calumon walks up to her with a huge grin still on her face. "Want to play!" She asks with a hopeful look. "Huh?" Calumon races forward and jumps into Rika's arms. "Here I go!" She shouts.
"What are you doing?" Rika asked annoyed.
"Eskimo kisses!" Calumon laughs.
(From down the street, Reika's mom approaches.)
"Rika!" Her mom calls out to her.
A few people gasped when they saw Rika's mother.
A few whispered. "It's her"
"I can't believe it"
"Hi, mom. What are you doing here?Rika asked.
"What a day! Ugh! We had a photo shoot,but before we could start, these people showed up wanting my autograph, asking me the secrets to my youthful good looks. They just wouldn't leave me alone. We couldn't get anything done all day. Being
famous and popular can be a pain in the neck. You are so lucky you don't know how that feels." Her mother mummbles as she crosses her arms over her chest.
Rika starts backing away from her mother. "Yeah. Lucky me." Rika sweat drops. "Well, gotta go."
"Wait. (She points to Calumon) Rika! I think your toy is just adorable!" She said sweetly.
Rika looks down at Calumon. "You had to be cute, didn't you?"
Calumon blinks up at her with a smile.
(Cage)
After IceDevimon left them alone. Tiffany and Fogmon sat away from one another.
I can’t believe that Fogmon is truly Tapirmon....
(Flashback)
"Why are you doing this?" She asked between tears.
The small digimon narrowed his eyes. "Because I know who you truly are Tiffany. You are a cruel person. I have looked throughout your entire life, and you have been nothing but evil to anyone you have ever meet."
Tiffany shook with every word he spoke. "That isn't true."
"It is, you allowed greed to enter your heart. Your heart was once pure, but all the money and fortune went to your head. You stepped over your only true friend."
An image of the young Skylar flashed before Tiffany's eyes.
"It wasn't my fault." She sobbed. She shook her head. "I tried to warn her."
"And yet you still sided with the people who did that to her. You never went to her aide and helped her. You left her out in the cold."
(End flashback )
Tiffany slowly looks up at the in training digimon. "I'm sorry..."
Fogmon stares over at her. "What?"
"I'm sorry." She whispered. Tears shook in her eyes. "It's all my fault." She sobbed. "You are right....I am a terrible person. I have controlled people all my life. I always got my way, and if anyone didn't listen to me. I made sure that got what I thought they deserved. If...if I did go after Skylar that one day...we wouldn't be here." She shook as tears continue to race down her face.
Fogmon floated towards Tiffany. The puppy digimon stared up at Tiffany with a look of puzzlement. Until he surprised her by wrapping his tiny arms around her for a hug.
Tiffany gasped, and she held Fogmon close as she continue to sob.
[Later in the day, Impmon is in some trees and fights
some crows.]
"Bada boom! (The crows flew away from his attack) Ah, fight back, you cowards! I guess my firepower's just too much for you, huh (he puts his hands behind his neck) I'll have to wreak havoc elsewhere.
[Outside Rika's house, Calumon is standing in front of Rika.)
Rika says in annoyance. "Listen, you little squirt, I'm immune to your
ootsy cutesy act, so scram!"
"Oh." Calumon backs away from her. She sounded hurt.
Calumon runs away from her crying.
"Keep going, shorty." Rika called after her.
(Calumon leaves, hands slowly come from a portal. And they slowly reached towards Rika)
"Renamon?"
Rika turns around quickly. But once again she saw nothing strange.
Renamon appeared out of thin air. "You called?" She asked.
"Where have you been?" She asked angrily.
Renamon points towards a tree. "Watching you from over there."
"Oh."
"You don't look well, Reika. Is there
something troubling you?" Renamon asks.
Rika starts walking away. "Nothing. I'm fine."
(Cell)
Tiffany and Fogmon sat next to one another now.
"So how did you become acquaintances with IceDevimon?" She asked.
Fogmon sighs. "It wasn't my choice. You see in the digital world. I work for the digital world's council. I had just started working there too. My assignment was to go to the human world with IceDevimon and find you Tiffany. And to bring you to justice. But IceDevimon had other plans. He wanted to go against council. He wanted to find a tamer. So one day he could go back to the digital world and destroy the council's leader. SlashAngemon." He informed her.
Tiffany felt confused. "But why would he want to do that?"
"He wants to take over the council. IceDevimon isn't the digimon. My fellow digimon and I thought he was. He is a dark digimon that inpretruded are council. He had nothing to do with bringing humans or digimon to Justice. All he wanted to do was take over and cause as much destruction as possible." He mumors.
Tiffany stares in shock. "That is terrible...."
Fogmon nods. "It doesn't matter if IceDevimon kills me here. Because now if I return to the digital world's council I will be considered a traitor and be executed for my crimes."
"But you did nothing wrong." Tiffany said angrily. "All you were trying to do was bring me to Justice but IceDevimon got in your way. You had no idea that IceDevimon was trying to destroy the digital world's council. Why should you should take the blame?" She asked.
Fogmon looks down at the icy floor. "Because SlashAngemon won't see it that way...all he would see is that I didn't report this news right away. He will only find me more of a traitor when he realizes that you are still alive."
Tiffany bit her lip. This isn't right. If only if their was something I could do to help him.
(Blaine and Julia's house)
Blaine sat at the table playing chess with his uncle.
His uncle looked like he was panicking. He only had a few more of his peices left.
Blaine moved a piece and smiled up at his uncle. "You better move your queen piece. I will be taking her next turn." He warned him.
His uncle's eyes grew wide. He quickly moved his piece and let go.
Blaine smirked. "Right into my trap" Blaine moved a piece and moved it to the queen. "Checkmate" He announced proudly.
"Wait! You tricked me. You made me move my queen piece, so you would be able to get it"
Blaine smiled. "That is why you always have to check. Do not trust your opponent, or fall for their traps." He informed.
His uncle sighed defeafted.
Julia walked in. "Hey Blaine."
Blaine looked over at his sister. "Yes, Julia?" He asked.
"Have you heard from Tiffany?" She asked. She held her cell phone up. "I've been texting her all day, and she won't reply."
"Maybe she is busy"
Julia frowned. "I guess...but don't you think she would tell me she is busy?" She asked.
Blaine frowned. She is right. It is suspicious. Where are you Blondie?
"Renamon turns around when Impmon
approaches.)
"Oh?" Renamon looks over to see Impmon walking towards her.
Impmon smirks at her. "Hey, fine and foxy. so we meet again."
Renamon rolls her eyes. "Oh, it's just you." She starts walking away from him.
Impmon growls. "What do you mean 'just me'? Come back here!"(to himself) Oh, check out miss high and mighty. Maybe
a good fight will knock her off her perch. (to Renamon) Hey, I heard Terriermon call you a fat tailed
bully! If I were you, I'd teach that egg shaped loudmouth a lesson! (Impmon smirks.
"Ha" Renamon shakes her head.
"Huh? What? You're going to let him
get away with that?" He asked hysterically.
"Terriermon won't fight."
Impmon sounds puzzled."why not?"
"His tamer has forbidden it." She informed him. She walks away from him again.
"Huh? Ugh. What kind of digimon doesn't fight? Those rotten humans. They've made him a pet. A DigiPoodle. (Starts thinking with a smile) But if Terriermon can't fight back, I can whup his doughy patootie or steal his lunch and get way without a scratch. Think of the possibilities.
(At Rika's house, her mom is trying to get her to try on some dresses.]
Rika's mom holds up a pink dress. "Well, what about this dress with the lace and poofy sleeves? Or this one? Try it. It'll make you look more like a girl."
Rika sweat drops. "Am I being punished for something? I told you
before, I can't stand cute things like this." She mummbles
Rika’s mom smiles. "Uh, well, what about that stuffed toy I saw you holding?"
Rika shook her head. "That was for a science project. We had to measure the effects of gravity on small objects, so I threw it off a bridge." She informed her angrily.
"Oh."
"I'm outta here."
(Rika leaves the room, while here mom holds the dress up to herself and looks in the mirror. Rika's grandmother sips her coffee. As she continue to sit at the table.)
Rika's mom pouts. "Well, I guess she's still into tomboy chic.Huh?"
Rika's Grandma smiles. "Rika just has her own style, that's all. Honestly, dear, there are more important
things in life than looking pretty."
Rika's mom looks over at her mother. "Really? Like what?" She asked confused.
(In Rika's room, Rika senses something outside.)
Rika's breath showed in front of her because how cold it became.
A figure started to fly towards her from behind.
Rika quickly ran to her room and closed the door behind her. She was painting.
"Renamon?"
Renamon appears from the shadows. "Yes, Rika?" She asks.
"Go and see what's out there, okay?" Rika asked.
Renamon nods. "As you wish." Renamon walks to the door and opens it. The fox digimon sticks her head out of the room.
"Well, who was it?"
Renamon shook her head. "No one."
Rika turned to her angrily. "Don't lie to me. I know something's out there. (Renamon stares with a look of concern) What's that look for?"
"Don't worry. I'll do everything I can to protect you."
Rika quickly got to her feet. "You don't need to protect me. I don't know why
you even say stuff like that."
"Because, Rika, I'm your partner."
"Let's get his straight. I don't buy all this stuff about partners and feelings. Uhh..." Renamon stared at Rika in shock. Rika didn't know what to say. She looks down at the ground. "I don't need you. I don't need anybody" Rika walks out of her room leaving Renamon alone.
(In the park, Takato is practicing his
card swiping techniques while Guilmon, Henry, Blaine, Julia and their digimin watch.)
"Okay, here we go. Digimodify! Activate! (Takato looks at the others.) So,how'd I do?
Henry tilts his head. "Not bad."
"Not bad?"
Julia nods. "Yeah...I give it a seven." She said cheerfully
Blaine crosses his arms. "Shouldn't be working on strategies?" He asked.
Henry nods. "Your right let's just work on strategies, okay? Have you
heard of combos?"
Takato nods. "Sure. Uh, I think I have. That's when you use two or more cards at a time, right?" He asked.
Henry nods. "Right. and if you use them in succession, you can get some pretty potent results. It's a good thing to keep in mind."
Takato chuckles. "Yeah. That and the other million things you've
told me."
Julia smiles and picks up Pansamon.
"Hey have you guys seen Tiffany today?" She asked.
Henry and Takato looked over at the purple hair girl.
"Why do you ask?"
Julia holds up her cell phone. "She always texted me for the past three days...and when I tried texting her this morning...no response...and doesn't it seem unlike her for not showing up?" She asked.
Takato nods. "Now that you mention it. Tiffany does come early so she could talk with Guilmon."
"Maybe she is busy" Henry suggested.
Gatomon jumps onto Blaine's shoulder. "Julia is just worried for her friend. Don't worry. We will find that Blondie somewhere. Who knows she might still be taking a cat nap."
(Impmon appears in a tree above them.)
"Well, if it isn't the dum-dum club."
"Hmm?" Everyone turns to toward Impmon.
"Did you miss me, kiddies?" He asked.
"Do I know him?" Julia asked confused.
"Just ignore him." Henry informed Julia.
Terriermon sweatdrops. "Easy for you to say. You can't smell him."
Gatomon lick her paw. "That imp must have fallen into the trash again."
"Be quiet you flee ball."
Gatomon looks up with narrowed eyes. "Make me" She challenged.
Impmon grimaces from the glare he received from the feline digimon.
"Don't antagonize him Gatomon." Blaine sighed.
"He started it." Gatomon mumbles.
"Let's go. Guilmon, come on." Takato called out to the reptile.
"I just want to have a friendly fight. Give you all a nice, friendly butt-kicking."
The group starts to walk away from them.
Pansamon looks up at Julia. "Doesn't he know that we all can digivolve to champion."
Julia sweatdrops. "I think he is just full of himself."
Renamon was right. He won't fight.
Well, here's my chance to blast some sense into him. Impmon smirks as he eyes Terriermon.
"Hmmm..." Terriermon hums to himself.
Henry looks down at him. "Terriermon, don't touch him!" He instructed.
"I know."
Impmon snaps his finger as a fire appeared "Bada boom!"
"Terrier Tornado!"
"Ahh!" Impmon was thrown out of the tree screaming.
"And the smelly flee bag is out of here." Gatomon purred in Blaine's arms.
"Terriermon, what did I just tell you?" Henry asked.
"I didn't actually touch him, now." Terriermon grins.
"You are incorrigible." Henry mummbles.
(Cell)
Tiffany got up when she saw IceDevimon walk in front of the cage door.
"Please! Let Fogmon go!" She shouted angrily.
Fogmon looked at Tiffany in surprise.
IceDevimon smirks. "And why would I do that?" He asked. "I want to prove to the human, that I can be a worthy digimon to her."
Tiffany bawled her fists. "Because he has nothing to do with this. (Tiffany put a hand to her chest.) Just please take me. Let Fogmon go. Please just don't hurt him." She begged.
IceDevimon thought this over and open the cage. "Well looks like your in luck Fogmon."
Fogmon shook his head. "I can't go"
Tiffany narrowed her eyes. "Get out of here now!" She screamed at him
The blonde's fists were bawled. "Digimon like yourself, are pointless. Just get out of my sight. You should have killed me when you had the change." She smirked.
Fogmon frowns. And be leviates out of the cell.
IceDevimon chuckled. "Now get out of here Fogmon. And never return. I do not want to see you ever again. You hear me?" He asked.
Fogmon nods slowly. He leviates out of view.
Tiffany puts her hand over her heart. She had to say those cold things for Fogmon to leave. If one of them could survive this. She would want it to be Fogmon. Maybe he would have a better chance if he stayed on Earth.
IceDevimon looks back at the blonde. "It's almost time Blondie" He laughs hysterically as he walks away from the cell.
(The sun has began to set. Renamon is sitting on the roof of someone's house.)
Terriermon and his tamer. Their relationship is so different from mine and Reika's. I wonder, if I
acted more human, would she accept me? Would she finally let me get close to her?
[In the city, Rika's seeing unusual shapes that only she can see.] Rika was shivering from head to toe.
Rika turn on her heels. "What do you want?" She asked.
A man stared at her puzzled. "Wa... Uh, nothing. Huh? Huh?"
Rika gasps as she sees what she believes to be a digimon flying up the staircase. "Get out of the way. (She races past the man) "Hey, I saw you, you creep. Now come out! Huh?"
(Reika's was grabbed by hands and pulled into a digital field. She opens her eyes to find herself in a white digimon's arms.)
"It's so cold" Rika whispered as she shivered.
"Welcome to my humble abode." IceDevimon whispered to her.
"Are you a digimon?" Rika asked.
"Yes."
"So this is a digital field?"
IceDevimon nods. "Exactly. Beautiful, isn't it? It suits you perfectly
"It suits me?"
"The way you treat people. How you think.You're cold as ice. You have no time for warm weak relationships."
"Yes." Rika nods to agree with him
"You always expect perfection from yourself and others. You demand it. I am the only one who understands you, Reika. That is why we're destined to become partners."
"Partners? Us?" She asked puzzled.
"Yes."
Rika shook her head. "No. I can't. I already have a partner. Renamon..."
Renamon was still sitting on the rooftop.
"Rika, where are you?"
[Flashback.]
"I don't need you. I don't need anybody."
[End flashback.
Renamon looks down sadly. "Rika."
(Digital feild)
"What have I done?" Rika asked aloud. Rika reaches towards her D-power on her hip.
"I want to show you something."
"What is it?"
"To prove I'm worthy to be your partner. I've set up a little show and tell so you can see my power for yourself."
Rika gasped as Tiffany appears in front of them. The blonde girl was chained to the ground by ice chains.
"Tiffany?" Rika asked.
"Yes"
Tiffany struggled with the chains.
"The one who doesn't understand your greatness Rika, the one who always tries to oppose you. I can kill her for you. So she will no longer be a problem for us."
Rika shook her head. "No..."
(Outside.)
Calumon was flying through the air. Until she saw a building covered in ice.
"Whoa."
Takato, Blaine, Julia, Henry, and their partners ran towards the building"
"Do you think this has something to deal with Tiffany?" Julia asked.
"I have no clue, but we have to get there fast. It doesn't look good." Henry exclaimed.
Calumon turns her head to see the group of tamers. "Hey, guys. what are you doing?" The group of tamers ran past her. "Wait for me!" She cried out after them.
(Back in the digital field.)
IceDevimon smirks. "For years, I have been searching for a human with a dark heart. And my searching has finally ceased. I found you Rika. You are the human I have been looking for."
"Uhh."
IceDevimon holds up a hand and a blast of ice struck Tiffany.
The blonde screams as she was thrown backwards. Her face and arms shown signs of cuts and brushes from the ice that had cut across her skin.
"No!" Rika shouted.
"But as you once said, they are merely
stepping stones." IceDevimon chuckles.
Rika shook her head. "I never said that."
IceDevimon laughs. "Ah, but you did. I fight to digivolve. You make your digimon do the exact same thing."
"No. I couldn't see it before, but there's more to digimon than fighting. I would eat dirt before I'd ever let Renamon become what you are. A monster." She spat.
"Better a powerful monster, than a weak nobody. Is that what you really want? To be a nobody?" He asked.
He sends another blast of ice at Tiffany.
Tiffany screams as the blast of ice hits her again. She was thrown once more. But the ice chains kept her put. Tears was now streaming down the blonde's face.
"Why?" She sobbed.
Rika eyes shook. "Stop...I'll tell you what I don't want to be. The partner of some freak show digimon. (She breaks out of his hold) You think you know everything about who I am? Well, you don't! So just spit it out, hornhead. What do you want?"
"Come on Rika, listen to me. We can be a great team you and I. No one will be able to stand in our way. Do you really want to be like her"
Rika looks towards Tiffany. Rika felt bad for the blonde hair girl. "In your dreams, pal." Rika shook her head. "I would never want to partner with someone heartless like you!"
IceDevimon grabs Rika's arm. "Don't play hard to get. You want to be the
strongest digimon tamer. I want to be the strongest digimon. We're perfect for each other."
"Never."
IceDevimon smirks. "Hmm. Are you thinking of that pitiful excuse for a digimon of yours? Renamon, is it? You've never settled for second best before. Why start now? Why
waste your time with beauty when you can tame the beast? But go ahead. Summon her. Perhaps you prefer a
live demonstration of who the superior digimon is."
Rika shook her head. "No way."
IceDevimon smiles. "Very well." IceDevimon holds his hand towards Tiffany. "Looks like I just have to kill her."
"Don't!" Rika shouted.
"Then summon her, or I will" IceDevimon put a finger to his forehead. As a beam of blue light flashed in the air.
Takato and the others had ran up to the flight of stairs all the way to the balcony. The group stood outside the door.
"This is it. Does anyone have any bright ideas?" Takato asked.
"Just one. Let's try not to get ourselves creamed." Henry suggested.
"Let's just watch each other's backs." Blaine added.
Julia frowns as she stared at the door. Don't worry Tiffany.
The group puts on their eye wear. And Takato opens the door. They all raced inside.
"Who left the freezer on?" Takato asked.
Henry points. "Look, it's Reika. Hmm. IceDevimon. Whoa, a

"And Tiffany!" Julia shouted.
Everyone could see Tiffany crying in pain on the icy floor.
Blaine barred his teeth. "What did he do?" He asked angrily.
IceDevimon chuckles. "And I thought you both didn't have any friends."
"Let her go, now!" Takato yelled.
"My new tamer and I were just getting acquainted."
"She's not your tamer. Rika has Renamon." Henry called out.
"I think it's time for a little upgrade, don't you?" Takato asked the others.
The other tamers nodded.
"Let me go, you frozen freak" Rika yelled at him.
IceDevimon raised his hand towards Tiffany. "Oh well, before anything. Let's get the non tamer out of everyone's way."
A blast of ice blasted out of his hand and started to fire towards Tiffany.
Everyone gasped.
"Tiffany!" Takato and Henry shouted.
"Someone do something" Blaine called out.
"It would be too late." Gatomon shouts.
"Tiffany no!" Julia cried.
Fogmon flies in front of Tiffany and narrows his eyes.
"Fogmon digivolve too...."
Fogmon was surrounded in bright white light as his body started to change.
"Tapirmon"
Tapirmon leviated in front of Tiffany and held out his arms to protect her.
"Tapirmon!" Tiffany shouted.
The blast of ice struck the rookie digimon in his chest.
The rookie tumbled backwards and slammed into Tiffany.
This caused the ice chains holding Tiffany to shatter. Sending the two spiraling backwards.
When the two of them started to roll around. Tiffany raced to Tapirmon's side. "No...why did you that?" She asked between tears. "Why did you save me"
"Because I can see the light that has started to form in your heart."
Tiffany eyes started to shake. She hugs Tapirmon.
Everyone gasps as a orange light started to form next to the two of them. A orange D-power with a yellow strap. Started to take shape to the right of them.
Tiffany turned her head to see what was the commotion was about. And a look of shock appeared on her face as the D-power floated towards her. She held out her hands as it gently flew into them.
"No way...that would make Tapirmon...my partner."
Tapirmon smiles up at Tiffany and the rookie digimon faints.
"Tapirmon!" Tiffany cries as she gently picks him up and holds him close. "Please wake up."
Takato stared in shock at what just happen. Tiffany had just became a tamer. He turn his head back to IceDevimon. "What do we do?"
"This is not going to be easy. He's much stronger than any digimon we've ever defeated before. What we
really need is an effective strategy to deal with him." Henry suggested.
Julia nodded. "But like what?" She asked worriedly.
"Like a kick in the pants." Takato suggested.
"I wish it were that easy. Hmm." Blaine mummbles.
"Ready, Guilmon?" Takato asks.
"Mm-hmm." The reptile nods.
"Go get him. Ready, set, and go!"
"Here's your chance, Terriermon!" Henry yelled.
"It's about time. Goody, goody." Terriermon ran foward.
"Go for it Gatomon"
Gatomon pounces foward. "You don't have to tell me twice"
"Be careful Pansamon!" Julia yelled as the Panther joined the others racing towards IceDevimon.
"Time to fight." Takato yells
[IceDevimon let's go of Rika an attack, freezing Guilmon, Gatomon, Pansamon and Terriermon where they stand. Takato jumps on top of
the ice, trying to break it.]
They tamers gasped.
"No way" Julia gasped. "Pansamon!"
"Guilmon, no!" Takato yelled still trying to break the ice.
"Terriermon!" Henry shouted.
"Gatomon!"
"Got to... get them... out of there.
ICEDEVIMON: I hear one becomes quite warm just before freezing." IceDevimon chuckles.
"You're so twisted, it's scary." Henry growls.
"How are we going to win now?" Julia asked concern.
"Don't worry Julia, everything is going to be okay." Blaine comforted her.
"DigiModify! Key, activate! (Nothing happens) Uhh. I don't get it."
"Where's Renamon?" Henry calls out towards Rika.
"Renamon's gone." Rika called back sadly.
[Flashback.]
"I don't need you. I don't need anybody."
[End flashback.]
"Even if I called..."
" Come on, Reika. Fess up. Did you two have a fight? It just proves she's too weak to handle a special tamer like you. You need a partner who
understands you. Who appreciates you, and who craves your cold strength. Embrace the future I offer you." He instructs her.
"Don't do it Rika!" Tiffany yells. The blonde was still cradling Tapirmon in one arm. And she held onto her D-power tightly in the other.
Renamon appears and strikes IceDevimon in his jaw.
Rika shook her head. "I don't believe it."
Tiffany ran next to Rika's side. The two girls stood side by side.
"Ahh. The infamous Renamon. I'd love to sit and chat, but I have to destroy you." He laughs hysterically.
"no." Rika yells.
"Diamond Sto..."
"Frozen Claw!"
The claw strikes Renamon in her chest.
"Ahh! Uhh. Diamond Storm!"
IceDevimon dodges the attack.
"Frozen Claw!"
"Uhh."
"Rika, she has to digivolve now!" Henry yells at her.
Rika looked worried. "I can't let her digivolve. She might end up
like IceDevimon."
Tiffany turned her head to Rika. "Rika you have to, Renamon needs your help. You can let her be deleted."
"Uhh." Renamon was struck once again.
"Renamon has always been there for you, you have to be there for her before it's too late." Tiffany barred her teeth. "I know it might seem like Tapirmon is down and out. But I will help you in anyway I can"
Rika stared at Tiffany in shock.
Rika gasps as she saw Renamon limp in IceDevimon's grasp.
"Why do you look at her like that? A digimon is only useful if it can fight. Tell me. Why do you care for this pathetic creature?"
"She's my friend. I care because Renamon's my friend!"
"Your wrong! Our Digimon aren't pathetic. You will never understand the true power between a tamer and a digimon!" Tiffany shouted.
Calumon flew into the ice digital feild and gasped as the red triangle on her forehead started to glow brightly. "Oh"
Rika's and Tiffany's D-power started to glow along with their digimon partners.
"Digivolution." The D-powers announced in unison.
"Renamon, digivolve to..."
"Kyubimon!" She calls out.
Orange data started to fly out of Tiffany's D-power. The data started to surround the mammal like digimon.
Tapirmon extends his arms out. "Tapirmon digivolve too..."
Tapirmon's data was being deleted and being replaced with new data.
A serpent like creature appeared in the egg. It had a blue Scaly body. Covering his face now was a skull mask. Feathers stuck out from the side of the mask. His arms were now gone. Wings sprouted from his back, and a gold tail ring appeared at the end of his tail.
"Airdramon!" He growls as he appears from the digital egg.
"Why did you digivolve?" Rika asked.
Kyubimon pounced foward. "Fox Tail Inferno!"
Airdramon begins to flap his wings creating a vacuum. "Spinning needle!" He roars.
Tiffany puts a hand over her heart. "I made Tapirmon...digivovle..."
IceDevimon yelled in terror as the two attacks flew at him. He tries to fly away from the two.
Kyubimon and Airdramon went after him.
"Where are you going, frosty?" Kyubimon asked.
"We were just beginning to have fun." Airdramon taunted.
"Dragon Wheel!"
"Spinning needle!"
IceDevimon holds out his hand. "Tundra Freeze. ( the attack negate one another) Avalanche Claw!"
Above them ice started to fall from above. Airdramon and Kyubimon were both avoiding the raining ice as best as they could.
"Whoa." Calumon whispered.
Aidramon and Kyubimon were both struck in the back by ice.
"Kyubimon!"
"Aidramon!"
Henry gritted his teeth. "We have to do something. (He dives into his card pack and pulled out a card.) Got it."
"Huh?" Takato sounded puzzled.
"Care to explain?" Blaine asked.
"I have an idea. Just trust me. Digimodify! Expansion, activate!"
[Terriermon expands, shattering the ice around both
him and the other digimon.]
"Their free" Julia cheered.
"All right, you guys? Now it's our turn." Takato yelled towards the four digimon in front of them.
"I don't think so, boy." IceDevimon growls.
"Fox Tail Inferno!"
"Spinning needle!"
"Are you ready, Guilmon?" Takato asked.
Guilmon nods. "Hmm?"
"Let's get him!"
"Okey-dokey."
"Digimodify! Speed, activate!"
Guilmon sprints towards IceDevimon.
"Ha! Back for more already?" IceDevimon snickered.
"Pyrosphere!"
"Frozen Claw!"
The frozen claw negated Guilmon's attack.
"digimodify! Hyper wing, activate!"
"That's it." Henry nodded.
Wings appeared on Guilmon’s back.
"Wow Guilmon looks like an angel now." Julia said brightly.
"Let's go!" Takato shouted.
Guilmon flies towards IceDevimon.
"Pyrosphere!"
IceDevimon started to panic. "No! No!"
[Guilmon destroys IceDevimon and absorbs his data. The
digital field disappears, leaving them on top of a
roof.]
Airdramon flies towards Tiffany. Tiffany smiles brightly and hugs the sky serpent. "I'm so glad your okay"
Airdramon smiles down at the blonde.
Kyubimon walks towards Rika. "Rika, are you okay?" She asked.
"I hate 'em." Rika growled.
"Well, he's gone now." Kyubimon informed her.
"Not him?" She shook her head.
"What do you mean?" Julia asked.
"I hate digimon. All of them."
"Huh?" Everyone gasps.
Takato eyes grew wide. "Oh, Rika, you don't mean that. (Kyubimon turns away from Rika and begins to walk away) Kyubimon, wait a minute! Where are you going? (Rika also leaves, she was heading for the stairs) Hey, what's wrong with you? Aren't you guys supposed to be friends?" Takato yells after them both.

And yes Fogmon is an oc I made. I didn't want Tapirmon in training form to be like a Tokomon or something. I wanted it to be original for him.
