Lea's POV
I rolled my eyes as Aga celebrated after I agreed na mag-motor kami. He smiled and looked at me and started putting the helmet on my head. I can't help but to look at him while he's doing that. He's just that so close to me as of this moment. I jumped in shock and glared at him when he snapped his finger on front of me. He chuckled and smiled.
"Tara na! Masyado mo naman akong tinititigan."Aga
I just avoided his gaze and stepped nearer the motorcycle.
"Ang daya sila lang!"Loraine
"Don't worry, we're next."Kevin
"Iiihhh! Shige be."Loraine
All of us laughed when she said that. I looked again at Aga who already wore his helmet.
"Let's go?"Aga
I smiled and nodded. Nauna siyang sumakay at sumunod ako na umupo sa likuran niya. I composed myself on my seat and hugged him from his back to make sure na hindi ako mamamatay ngayon.
"Tsansing ka."Aga
I raised my brows in disbelief.
"Wow. Saan mo ako gustong yumakap, sa tambucho?"ako
He immediately laughed when I said that.
"Ano ba naman ‘yan naghaharutan pa! Gora na!"Wil
Aga and I laughed. Napahinto naman ako nang bigla niyang hinawakan ang kamay ko na nakayakap sa kanya.
"Kumapit ka po nang maigi."Aga
I nodded because that's what I really do. Mahal ko buhay ko, ‘no.
"Opo—puta, Aga!"ako
I exclaimed as he immediately started the motorcycle. He just laughed at me kaya hinampas ko siya sa tiyan.
"Bagalan mo lang naman!"ako
I shouted at him so he'd hear me vividly because the wind is so strong. I touched my helmet to check it dahil parang nawala ata sa ulo ko dahil sa bilis ng pagpapatakbo nito.
"Okay. For you."Aga
I breathe out in relief but I screamed again nang mas lalo niyang binilisan ang takbo ng motor.
"Aaaah!!! Aga!!! Papatayin kita!!!"ako
I screamed and started tearing up but he just laughed at me. Swear, this is the last time that I'd ride a motorcycle. Swear!
Fast-forward...
"Yehey! Kami naman!"Loraine
Aga got down first then guided me afterwards. Siya rin ang nagtanggal ng helmet ko.
"Thank you."ako
We both smiled to each other. I actually enjoyed it. There was fear at first lalo na't pang-asar ‘yung nagmamaneho, it went well and I enjoyed it. The air and place are so good, hindi rin naman pala ganoong nakakatakot mag-motor. I think there's next time.
"Oh, kayo naman."Aga
He gave to Kevin and Loraine the helmet na kaagad namang tinanggap ng dalawa.
"Mag-iingat kayo ah."ako
"Yes po, Ma'am. Ako po ang bahala kay Loraine."Kevin
I giggled because it seems like he's telling me that he'd take care of my daughter.
"Siguraduhin mong kikiligin din ako katulad ni Ma'am kanina ah."Loraine
Tumawa naman silang lahat kaya bigla akong sumeryeso.
"Mabangga sana kayo."ako
"Nako! Nako!"Wil
I just rolled my eyes since inaasar na naman nila ako. Hindi ba kumpleto ang araw nila nang hindi kami inaasar ni Aga? Or should I say ako kay Aga?
"Ma'am oh, tubig."Ellaine
I looked her and smiled.
"Thanks, Ellaine."ako
I get the bottled water na inaalok niya sa akin. Kaagad akong uminom dahil natuyo ata ang lalamunan ko sa lakas ng hangin kanina. After I drank ay napansin kong nakatingin sa akin si Aga kaya itinaas ko ang kilay ko.
"Gusto mo?"ako
Tanong ko sabay pakita ng bote ng tubig ko sa kanya. Napataas naman lalo ang kilay ko nang kumunot ang noo niya.
"I—I mean kung... kung gusto mo. Ipakukuha kita kay Ellaine."ako
"Nope. I think okay na ‘yan."Aga
Then he get the bottled water in my hand and drank it immediately that made my jaw drop. I can't believe this. I can't believe him.
Fast-forward...
"Yey! Excited for tomorrow!"
Sigaw nilang lahat dahil tapos na sila sa mga trabaho nila ngayong araw. That made me smile because I know how exhausted they are.
"Want pizza? My treat."Aga
I looked at him and raised my brows. Nag-ingay naman ang lahat dahil may libre na naman. In fairness, ang hilig niyang manlibre these past few days. I mean, that's pizza. Who doesn't like pizza?
"Ano’ng order niyo?"Aga
"Ako maglilista!"Wil
He volunteered and stood up to get a pen and sticky note.
"Sa akin meat and mushroom!"Nikky
"Kahit ano basta thin crust sa akin!"Ellaine
"Ako pineapple and cheese ah!"Jane
"Meat and bellpepper sa akin!"Carol
"Oy ako pepperoni! Magkamatayan na pepperoni sa akin!"Loraine
"Same here."Kevin
"Ako cheese lang. Please. Overload ah."ako
"Same din."Aga
Napatingin naman ako sa kanya kaagad. Well, we both love cheese.
"Got it! Ito na ang listahan, Sir! Basta ang couples parehas."Wil
Napairap na lang ulit ako at buntong hininga nang magtawanan sila. After fifteen minutes ay dumating na ang pinakahihintay ng lahat na pizza. Kinuha naman ‘yun ng dalawang lalaki habang hinahanda ng iba ang lalaruin naming Scrabble.
"Here."Aga
I grinned and get the box of my pizza from him.
"Thank you!"
I creased my forehead when I saw na may bawas na ang pizza ko.
"Bakit kulang ‘to?!"ako
Aga bite from the pizza that he's holding then smiled at me.
"Kinuha ko. Hehe"Aga
I darted him a glare because how dare he do that. That's very disrespectful to my perfect circle cheese pizza.
"Gusto mo?"Aga
Inilapit niya sa bibig ko ang kinagatan niyang pizza, pizza ko.
"Sa‘yo na!"ako
Sigaw ko sa kanya at padabog na pumunta sa sala, at as usual tinawanan niya lang ako. Umupo na kaming lahat sa carpet and we sat in circle kasi nga maglalaro kami. Kumuha ako ng stand ko kung saan ko ilalagay ‘yung mga letters from Scrabble.
"Oh kuha na kayo."Jane
Kumuha na kami ng tag-iisang tile sa tile bag so we would know kung sino ang mags-start ng laro and it was Wil. After that ay kumuha na kami ng seven tiles namin.
"This iz meh."Wil
He said as he put his tiles in the middle of the game board that made a word 'girl'.
"Kapal ah? Tingin nga?"Carol
"Pakapalan talaga ‘yan, ‘te."Wil
We all laughed.
"Okay! My turn!"Loraine
Kumagat muna siya sa pizza niya bago bumuo ng word na 'legal' na idinugtong niya sa letter 'l' from the 'girl' word that Wil has made.
"May meaning ba ‘yan?"Ellaine
"Ahh. Hihi! Medyo. Pero matagal pa eh. Hihihi"Loraine
I just shook my head while giggling. Edi sila na ang may love life.
"Choosy ka pa ihampas ko sayo ‘tong board eh. Hahahaha!"Wil
"Go lang! Durog naman sa mukha mo ‘yan after."Loraine
I laughed so hard, as in so hard, kaya nagtinginan silang lahat sa akin. I immediately shut my mouth especially when I saw that Aga's looking at me. I just get my two tiles of letters at nilagay ko sa ibabaw ng 'legal' ang 'i' at 'l' so I made.
"Illegal?"Ellaine
I nodded and winked at her. That's still an 8 points tho! It's just start of the game.
"Ano ‘yun?"Pauline
"Anong ano ‘yun?"ako
Kunot noo kong tanong. Ilegal ba ang word na illegal sa Scrabble?
"Ahh. Baka kasi ngayon hindi pa kayo legal, ‘no?"Ellaine
I creased my forehead even more because I didn't get what she said.
"Ano, Sir?"Ellaine
Kaagad naman akong sumeryeso nang ma-realize ko ang gustong ipabatid sa akin ni Ellaine.
"Ellaine, ang dami dami mo nang nalalalaman, ‘no?"ako
I asked rhetorically as I sarcastically smiled at her.
"Syempre, Ma'am! Hehe"Ellaine
I showed her my poker face.
"Oo, huling project mo na ‘to."ako
"Ay, parang mukhang may guilty?"Ellaine
Then she looked at everyone kaya nakaramdam na naman ako na pinagtutulungan nila ako.
"Ayiiiieh! Sir, kayo na!"Jane
I just frowned after. All of us looked at Aga who's intently looking at his tiles of letters. Akala mo naman nasa competition siya oh. Sobrang seryoso.
"Here."Aga
Then he made a word 'lea' na ikinataas ng kilay ko.
"Luh. Adik ka po, Sir? May word bang Lea?"Wil
"Mayroon!"Aga
"Woo! Pati ba naman sa laro si Ma'am pa rin iniisip niyo? Yiiieh!"Wil
I glared at Ellaine when he poke me on my side using her index finger.
"Look at your dictionary. Basta we should stick on the rules. Kapag tama ako you'll lose point. Okay?"Aga
Wil pouted because of that.
"Actually, Wil, mayroon nga."ako
Tumingin naman silang lahat sa akin kaya kulang na lang ay mapahawak ako sa dibdib ko. Para bang may napatay ako as of this moment?
"Ipagtanggol?"Loraine
"Mayroon nga. Go check it in your dictionaries. It is usually ley but you can also call it lea."ako
"Oo na sige na payag na akong mawalan ng points. Minsan lang kayo magkampihan eh, sulitin na natin."Wil
After 3 days...
We are all excited and nervous at the same time as we looked on the screen of the television and as the lights in the living room deemed. Ngayon na kasi panonoorin ang final output for the advertisement and everyone is excited for it. Finally, after everything, we all made it in the end.
"Ang ganda!!!"Loraine
Everyone exclaimed as they clap their hands. I giggled and also clapped since this is an achievement for us and something to celebrate of although we're not really done yet. I couldn't believe that we did together with his employees.
"I can't believe this! We're really done!"Nikky
"Oo nga! Naiiyak ako!"Carol
Nagtawanan naman silang lahat. It's such a relief for everyone, and looking at them made me say that this is indeed a great achievement again.
"Pero two days na lang tayo rito then back to normal na! Huhu"Loraine
"Uy, mayroon pa tayong shoot ah."Carol
"Kailan? Next month pa? Tagal!"Loraine
I sighed because I know that I'll also miss this. I'll probably miss this.
Fast-forward...
It's already 10 in the evening and I decided to go to the kitchen dahil bigla akong nauhaw. Buti na lang talaga nasa baba ang kwarto ko. I closed the door of my room and I was shocked when I saw Aga sitting alone on the couch while doing something on his laptop.
"Oh, bakit ikaw lang ang nandito?"ako
I walked towards him with my creased forehead.
"Lumabas sila, magma-mall lang daw. Eh hindi mo naman hilig ang mag-mall... kaya ayun."Aga
I just nodded.
"Eh ikaw, bakit hindi ka sumama?"ako
"Wala kang kasama rito eh."Aga
Tumango na lang ako at umupo sa single couch malapit sa kanya at binuksan ang TV. Kumunot naman ang noo ko nang maalala kong lumabas nga pala ako para uminom ng tubig. I looked back but I stopped when I didn't see Aga. Nasaan na ‘yun?
Aga's POV
I groaned as I entered the kitchen. I opened the refrigerator and poured a water in the glass at kaagad na ininom ang analgesic ko. My back pain gets worse every day, it's probably because I haven't been having my sessions for two weeks now.
"May sakit ka?"Lea
Halos tumalon naman ang puso ko sa kaba nang marinig ko ang boses ni Lea sa likuran ko. I closed my eyes for a second dahil medyo kumikirot pa rin ang likuran ko bago ako humarap sa kanya.
"H-huh? Wala ah."ako
Inilapag ko ang basong ininuman ko sa kitchen counter at sinubukang tumayo nang maayos.
"Eh... bakit uminom ka ng gamot?"Lea
Taas kilay na tanong niya at parang inuusisa pa ang galaw ko kaya mas lalo akong kinabahan.
"Ahm..."ako
I blinked when she walked towards me at hinipo ang leeg at noo ko.
"Hindi ka naman mainit."Lea
I blinked and avoided her gaze.
"Ahh ano... feeling ko kasi sisipunin ako eh."ako
Pagsisinungaling ko.
"Aga, may sakit ka ba?"Lea
I looked at her in her eyes.
"Huh? Wala. Wala ah."ako
Sana nga ay wala.
"I mean... yung talagang sakit. ‘Yung—"Lea
I cut her off.
"Lea, wala nga. Stop asking, please."ako
Sagot ko at lumabas ng kusina dahil hindi ko na kakayanin ang sakit ng likuran ko and I don't want her to see it. I'm sorry but I don't want her to know about it, to know about my condition.
Lea's POV
I exhaled and looked back to Aga na nakalabas na ng kusina. My eyes landed at the glass on the kitchen counter where he drank his water kaya naalala ko kung bakit nga pala ako nandito. Uminom ako ng tubig at pagkatapos kong hugasan ang mga pinag-inuman namin ay lumabas na ako ng kusina. I saw him and he's still sitting where he was sitting earlier. I was about to hold the knob of my room nang maramdaman kong hinawakan niya ang braso ko kaya napaharap ako sa kanya.
"Lea, I'm... I'm so sorry."Aga
I raised my brows.
"What? Ano ba, wala ‘yun... ‘di ba?"ako
Tumitig ako sa mga mata niya at nagtitigan lang kami. I momentarily closed my eyes as I felt his hand on my cheek kasabay ng unti-unting paglakas ng tibok ng puso ko.
"Ahm. Aga—hmm."ako
Naipikit ko ang mga mata ko nang maramdaman ko ang mga labi niya sa labi ko. My heart started beating so loud. I tried my best not to give in but I just found myself kissing him back while clinging my arms on his neck.
"Hmm."ako
I moaned and made myself even closer to his torso. He held me on my waist at isinandal ako sa pinto. I don't know but I suddenly broke the kiss and looked down.
"I'm... I'm sorry, Aga. I don't— this isn't right."ako
I looked at him in the eyes so he would know and see how sorry I am.
"Le—"Aga
"Sorry, Aga. Ay—"ako
I closed my eyes when he cupped my face. I started tearing up because I know how hard I'm refraining my emotion right now.
"Just listen, Lea. I... I just want you to know that I still love you, hindi nawala ‘yun, at hinding hindi mawawala ‘yun. I'm sorry, but I didn't regret what happened. Just... let me prove myself to you again."Aga
A tear dropped on my cheek as I looked at him. He was waiting for my answer and my answer was a shook of my head and entered my room. I know, I know I missed him and those kisses but not yet. I'm still not yet ready.
Ellaine's POV
This is already our last day here in Barcelona. Actually, last minute here in Spain kasi on the way na kami sa airport at nakasakay kami ngayon sa van. I looked at Loraine when I heard that she sighed.
"Mamimiss ko ‘to, panigurado."Loraine
I faked a smile, kasi alam ko na mami-miss ko rin talaga ang mga ginawa namin dito sa Barcelona. Our vecay, ‘yung shoot, at lahat ng oras na nakasama ko sila. I enjoyed being with the team, but being with Sir Aga's team, it makes it even happier and more enjoyable.
Lumabas na kaming lahat ng sasakyan. Napansin naman naming magkasama si Ma'am Lea at Sir Aga na nagtatawanan habang papasok sa loob ng airport while pushing their luggage cart.
"Okay na kaya sila?"Jane
I looked at her who's beside me.
"I hope. I think so? But far from what they were before. Mahirap namang ibalik ‘yun kaagad ‘di ba?"ako
She nodded.
"Kaya nga thankful talaga ako sa project natin na ‘to."Loraine
Napatingin naman ako sa kanya na bigla nalang sumulpot sa tabi ko at nagpu-push din ng luggage cart niya.
"Bakit?"Carol
Nagulat naman ako nang mapansin kong hile-hilera na pala kami dito. Mga bakla ng taon sinakop ang airport ng Espanya!
"Syempre! Look!"Loraine
Tumingin naman kami kina Ma'am Lea at Sir Aga sa unahan na itinuro niya.
"Look what happened! At alam kong pansin niyo rin huwag kayong magsinungaling, mahal pa talaga nila ang isa't isa, ‘yun nga lang hindi pa lang talaga sila handa para maging sila ulit. I mean... that'll take a process. It's a long process to heal what was broken before."Loraine
"Wow. Dami mong alam ah. Epekto ng may love life ‘yarn?"Wil
"Hoy totoo ‘yung sinasabi ko! Pustahan pa tayo bente magiging sila ulit?"Loraine
I chuckled and shook my head. Ginawa pang pustahan ang love life ng amo niya.
"Ewan ko sa‘yo. Pero alam niyo ba talaga kung bakit sila naghiwalay dati?"Pauline
"Dahil sa babae."ako
Kampante at kaagad kong sagot although ayun lang ang alam ko dahil ‘yun lang naman ang nasabi sa akin ni Miss Lea. Iniiwasan niya rin namang pag-usapan ‘yun at hindi ino-open sa akin. But knowing Sir Aga and knowing na hindi na ulit siya nag-girlfriend o asawa after their annulment, makes me doubt that third party thingy. There might be another reason, deep reason.
"Hindi naman totoo ‘yun."Jane
I looked at her sa kaliwa ko na para bang nagpo-protesta na sa haba ng nguso.
"Hindi nambabae si Sir. Well, you might see it that way dahil may babaeng involve but believe me, I know how Sir Aga loves Miss Lea that much. I see it everyday. It's a misunderstanding, a big conflict between their relationship and marriage. Hindi lang talaga binigyan ni Miss Lea pagkakataong magpaliwanag. But... somehow understandable."Jane
I creased my forehead.
"Why?"ako
"Nagsabay kasi ang ng pagkawala ng anak nila noon."Jane
"What?! May anak sila?!"
Tanong ng team namin sa team nila Jane. What the heck did I just hear?!
"Hindi niyo alam?"
They asked so we shook our heads in synchronize.
"Hindi sinasabi ni Ma'am Lea?"Carol
We shook our heads again.
"Mga bakla naloka ako! Bakit hindi natin napag-kwentuhan ‘yan?! Nakakainis kayo! Puro kasi kayo kain at Netflix!"Loraine
"Wow! Coming from you?! Pero hindi, hindi ako makakapayag."Wil
All of us looked at him with our raised brows, waiting for what he's going to say.
"Mag-dinner tayo bukas. We'll talk about this. Café Ameliá, 6 PM sharp. Ang ma-late mabubulok ang fallopian tube."Wil
