When we got back to the mansion it looked a mess thing were broken people were hurt I held Jailen close to me I followed Jace to the doctor he insisted the baby and I get check out when we were finish we got to go home in the car something was bugging me Jace seem pissed and fired up ready to hit someone
"Jace is something wrong?"
"Someone wanted to attack my mate and my baby shit just got real and someone is going to pay and I know who will" his eyes were black and his knuckles were white he was gripping the wheel tight I could tell this wasn't him right now it was his wolf
"Jace what happen?"
"While you were being checked out by the doctor I talked to a prisoner he told me some interested things" Jace was speeding at this point
"Jace maybe you should slow down we have Jailen in the car with us" he looked at the speed monitor and started to slow down a bit
When we got home he came out of the car and into house Damon and summer were sitting in the couch. Jace went right up to Damon and hit him in the face and threw him across the room
"So you little traitor you thought you would get away with that huh well guess again "he hit him again I didn't what to do I was frozen there with Jailen in my arms I've never seen Jace like this and Damon wasn't even fighting back. Jace grabbed Damon by his color and started hitting him I finally spoke up.
"Jace stop" the sound of my voice caused him to pause I think he had snapped out it and realized what he had been doing he took a deep breath and stepped back I looked over at summer who had been crying. Derrek, Jackson and a few other pack members had been there to help Damon up
Derrek looked at Jace
"I told you not to do anything crazy"
I had to speak up everyone was leaving me in the dark "what's going on here and no one tell me nothing"
Derrek looked at me "there are people after Jailen right now"
Jace looked at me this time and started to talk to me "and Damon was helping them
"I was helping please just let me explain"
"You've had enough time to explain yourself" derrek said to him
Jace looked at the other pack members "Kill him"
I started to panic I didn't know what to do until I noticed that one was moving
"Alpha Jace we can't move"
I realized what was going on it was this me or Jailen?
"Its Jailen the bound between mother and daughter is strong you can feel when she uses her power" a voice in my head said
"Guys hear him out first"
Jace looked at me like I was crazy "Makenzie this guy can't be trusted he almost had you and Jailen killed I'm taking any chances I'm not going to lose you not again"
"Please Jace" something told me this as right and call me crazy but I know Jailen thought so too
He took a long time to think but he finally sighed "fine but he stays away from you and Jailen"
"No deal I want to hear what he has to say the twins will watch Jailen"
"No I'm not risking it"
"Then I won't stay away then"
"Makenzie I don't need you to be stubborn right now" I had a determined look on my face
Derrek leaned in and said to Jace "good luck she's not backing down I know that look anywhere"
"Fine Makenzie but you stay behind me at all times any sign of a threat your leaving and we kill him"
"Deal"
I gave Jailen to the twins and I followed Jace to the basement
"Makenzie this could get ugly"
"I've seen worse" he nodded and grabbed my hand and took me to Damon Jace stood in front of him
"Tell us what you know"
"I will just don't hurt summer or Titan please" Damon begged
"Did she know?" Jace watched him to see if he would lie
"No not until you told her today" Damon looked sincere
"Fine they won't be hurt now tell us" Jace agreed but he wasn't play games he meant business
"What will happen to me?" Damon looked worried
"Depends on what you tell us now stop staling" Jace demanded
"His name is vermelho (rouge in Portuguese)" he finally started telling us information
"What does he want?" Jace asked still studying him
"Your baby power Makenzie knows what I'm talking about I know you felt it by now she more than a wolf she's a goddess it is written that a baby will be born from a women and man touch by Selene at birth and will make the strongest baby this world has ever seen" Damon had told Jace the truth so far
"Wait are you saying that Selene the moon goddess blessed us and they blessed our daughter?" Jace had wanted to know everything
"She did more than that she gave you daughter half of her powers" Damon replied
"Why does this guy want our baby anyway" I had to ask I've been too quiet
"Because you baby was made to destroy him he isn't just you normal wolf he is one of the 5 original wolves the one who killed the other 4" I grew shivers
"Why did he send you and why did you agree" Jace had asked
"Because they have my little sister" he sounded as if he didn't have a choice
"Why didn't you tell us this before we could have helped you" I said I sounded hurt as well ok so I was I trusted Damon and now he's a traitor
"You wouldn't have trusted me" he said
"Well we don't trust you now" Jace had jumped in
"Why should we trust you now" I said
"because I don't want to lie and hind anymore I want my sister back and if you choose to kill me I'll be ok just please get her back accept her and tell summer I love her and when Titan is old enough tell him I'm sorry I couldn't watch him grow up" he sound like he was ready to die
"We'll get your sister back but don't think I won't kill you yet we need you help you know this guy better than us"
"I'll help in any way I can" Damon said
Jace took me out of the room but them Kept Damon down there
"Jace was he lying about any of that" I asked
"Makenzie I wish he was" hearing that scared me more than anything I've have ever heard
