Makenzie's pov

I sat there thinking about what summer said did she really want me to stay away from my own brother he pretty much raised me yeah he was a jerk at times but still I can't just walk away from him like that I just got him back in my life.

I finally decide that she is not going to control my life she's not going to scare me away from the only family I have left I'm going to do what I want if that means talking to MY brother then so be it but she will not mess up my life not again she ruled me before but this time will be different

Derrek came back and looked at me

"Hey sister so I can take you and your friend back to your house or apartment and get your stuff"

"Um derrek he's my boyfriend"

"Oh hmm well me and him could have a talk later but for now we need to get your stuff so can you get him and we can go"

"K just gives me a minute"

I got up and started to walk upstairs but when I got upstairs I see Damon and Summer looking at each other in a lost gaze almost as if they were in their own word

"um Damon" he didn't even know I was standing there he snapped out of it

"Um yeah sorry Ma Makenzie"

"Well it was nice to meet you Summer"

"Yeah same to you" she left so quick I could barely see her

"Umm my brother said he was going to take us back to the house and get our stuff so come on"

Have you ever had this feel where you walk into the room and it's just so awkward well that's how the car ride was back to the house I just had so many questions and my mind was trying wrapping itself around all the stuff that's been going on?

When we got to the house Derrek said he was going to wait in the car and me and Damon went to the house we got to the bedroom and started packing the silence was killing me I just had to know what was going on with him
