A/N: Italics are flashback.

These days it wasn't as easy to get around, you waddled along your swollen feet everywhere you went. Plus, everywhere you went, your darling husband, Gaston accompanied you. Which you didn't mind most of the time, he was good to have around, but it was when he didn't leave you alone for a moment. It got extremely old rather quickly. Luckily, Lefou could manage to get him out of your house for a couple of hours daily, so you could have some time alone to yourself and attempt to get some rest.

Any day now, your doctor predicted, but he also added you that when the baby was ready to come out, it would make its appearance. But as the day was approaching, your doctor wanted you on strict bed rest, which meant Gaston had to remain at your side, tending to your every living need.

You knew he would take good care of you, but all the same Gaston wouldn't leave you alone for a second. You loved your husband dearly, but he refused to wrap his mind around the whole idea of personal space. This news made you want to give birth the baby even more. Gaston didn't mind; He seemed to enjoy this idea.

You on the other hand, weren't too excited. The last time you were put on strict bed rest was in the beginning of your pregnancy, which was nothing compared to now, nearly nine months later. Nine months ago, things were so much different. You remember the day you found out very distinctly, as it will remain a part of you for the rest of your days.

"Something is not right, Gaston. I think it might be best if you fetch a doctor.' You grunted, with his help guiding you back to your shared bed. "Anything for you, Y/N, but I am going to station Lefou in my place until I return with a doctor." Gaston got you settled and kissed the center of your forehead. Lefou has stayed with you the night before, after dinner.

"LEFOU! There has been an emergency!" Gaston busted into his room, and threw his clothes on his bed. Lefou jumped awake, just like the days in the war, but then he soon remembered the war was over. "What's the hurry, Gaston?" Lefou knitted his eyebrows together. "It's Y/N, she has fallen terribly ill and has requested a doctor. I need someone to watch over her. That would be you, my trusted companion." Gaston clapped his bare shoulder, and ordered one of the servants to grab his jacket and prepare his stallion.

Gaston rode into the village at a high-rated speed, calling for a doctor. "It's my wife, she's ill!" Gaston did this for a good while and just as he began to lose good faith, a man stepped up to the plate. "What are her symptoms good sir?" Gaston turned his horse around to the sound of the voice. "I believe she is running a small fever and became sick." Gaston told him. "Allow me to find my medical instruments and I will follow you back on my horse." The kind man winked at him.

"I will wait for you." Gaston nodded his head. And not a moment too soon. The sweet man hopped on his horse and the two of them gun hoed for your cabin just outside the main village. Gaston jumped off of his horse, giving it a chance to sip some water before the stable boys would take back. Gaston told the doctor to follow him right this way. He lead him into your bedroom where you remained this entire ordeal.

Lefou took a few steps back in the direction of the doorway where Gaston was. "How is she?" Gaston swallowed, readying himself for anything he might have to hear. "She was fine while you were way but I wonder it could be to come over so fast." Lefou said, expressing his most profound concern. "All in good time, Lefou. All in good time." Gaston licked his lips, and excused himself.

He made his way into your bedroom and returned to your bedside, just like he said he would. "Hello, my darling. How is she looking?" Gaston interlinked his hand with yours and lowered down and kissed, before addressing the doctor. "Well, your lady Y/N she has appeared to have suffered from morning sickness which is a key symptom of pregnancy." The doctor confirmed. "So you're saying that we, I am pregnant?" You smiled widely, and cut your eyes over to Gaston. "I am going to be a father!?" He breathed out, sounding very excited.

"It appears that way. Congratulations!" The doctor smiled back at you and clapped Gaston's shoulder. He also added he wanted a follow up with you, but everything was looking great. "Look at that! I am so happy for the both of you right now!" Lefou exclaimed once he put two and two together. "Thank you, Lefou." You said, not having let go of Gaston's hand.

"I leave you to be." Lefou shut the door halfway, while Gaston very gently joined you in the bed again. "A baby Gaston! We're going to have a baby!" You moved your hands down and rubbed your stomach. "I know, my love. I know." Gaston enjoyed this moment of peace you were having. It was just the two of you. "I wonder if it will be a bustling a boy like myself or caring woman like you." Gaston pressed his head into your forehead.

"Well, whatever it is. I will love it the same." You held your head up by balancing your hand on your pillow, laying on your side facing your loving husband. "I couldn't feel the same way, my Y/N." He said bopping your nose, causing you to giggle.

Oh have the tables turned.

Fast forward to six months later, you were more than ready to welcome your child to the world. You didn't expect it to be much sooner than you imagined. You were laid up in bed, enjoying your current reads that Gaston retrieved for you in the village. You were on your third day of bed rest and it was not as bad as you pictured it.

The first morning, when you were officially on bed rest, you woke up lying flat on your back, to a soft voice. The voice belonged to your husband, he was carrying on a conversation with the baby. You still pretended to be asleep, so you didn't break this intimate moment between the two of them. "Every day I anticipate your coming, my love. Whatever you are. You are my child. And I will love your forever and always." Gaston laid a hand on your stomach and felt the baby kick.

Your eyes cracked open at the baby's movement. "Good morning, darling. Sleep well?" Gaston greeted you, acting as if he just opened his eyes for the first time. "I slept the same as I always do." You shrugged nonchalantly. "Is that good or bad?" Gaston wondered, worry thick in his tone. "It is fine, Gaston! You don't need to worry about me!" You exclaimed, trying to suppress his concerns, like you've had to do throughout your entire pregnancy.

Gaston shook his head at you, and pressed a firm, but soft kiss on your lips. "Oh have I missed having you...." Gaston grunted against your neck and kissed it, not even capable of finishing his sentence. "My, my Gaston what a dirty mouth you have." You smirked, now feeling wide awake. "My my Y/N, what beautiful lips you have!" He said ignoring what you had to say and diving in for another kiss.

"You have such a way with words." You rolled your eyes, sitting up better in the bed. "I will take that as a compliment, so thank you very much!" Gaston winked at you. You shook your head after him, as he got up and told you he was going to get you something to eat for breakfast, in bed of course. You attempted to tell him that wouldn't be necessary, but his deathly glare made you stop talking.

"Good girl." He flashed a smile and rang the bell. You and Gaston enjoyed a lovely breakfast in bed, but it couldn't last. Gaston had to go out and run errands in the village, and on his way out, while you were cross stitching in your bed, following doctor's orders. He asked you if you would like anything. "Could you get me a few books from the library, it slipped my mind and I fear I will become rather board laying on my arse all day long." You slumped your shoulders, making a face at your stitch.

"You're funny, Y/N, but I will get whatever your heart desires." Gaston chuckled, coming over to you to kiss you goodbye. "My heart desires you, my darling and the delivery of this baby." You smiled up at him, meaning every word. "I know, I know." He blew you one more kiss on his way out and you acted like you caught it and held it close to your heart. "I'll be back soon! Love you!"

"I love you, Gaston!" You called after him, cupping one of you hands over your mouth.

The evening of full your second day on bed rest, you moved yourself to the living area, of your home, and actually bothered to get dressed today. You sat near the fire, curled up with your latest read. Gaston watched out the window, deep in thought, but lost once he laid his eyes upon you. He admired your beauty, engrossed by the characters and the story plot.

"Now what do you have there?" Gaston interrupted your reading session. "A Midsummer's Night Dream by William Shakespeare. It is quite fascinating." You said, not even taking your eyes off of your book. "I am glad you enjoy reading so much. Wiould you care reading it to me." Gaston laid his head on your shoulder.

"Sure!." You said setting your book down. "I guess you're right." Gaston shut his eyes nuzzling his head into your shoulder. "Do you want to go bed, my love?" You asked seeing his shut eyes. "No, I'm good I just wanna lay here and listen to you read to me." He answered in a tired voice. It couldn't have been but a few minutes and snores filled the room. You shut your book, knowing you would pick it up again tomorrow, and relaxed your shoulders and fell asleep with your head laying on Gaston's.

There you slept for quite awhile actually. Funny thing was, Gaston and You had a hand on your tummy. When you awoke again, the fire had died out and Gaston remained in the same position. You were having a pain in your lower abdomen. You sat up a little, causing Gaston to wake up as well.

"Oh." You groaned, holding your stomach. "Whatever is the matter?" Gaston asked you trying to rub the sleep from his dark green eyes. "It's the baby. I think the baby is coming." You announced, breathing heavily. "Good God. What do you need?" Gaston gulped. "I need the doctor Gaston! Go get the doctor!" You realized, as you tried to stand. "Before I do that let me get you to the bed, and get Lefou to stay with you in my absence." Gaston said, talking it through trying not to show his worry.

"Lefou! Lefou!" Gaston yelled down the hallway. He had to be here. Gaston thought to himself. Even though he was asleep he heard one of the servants let someone in. It was usually no other than Lefou. "Yes, Gaston?" Lefou answers sleepily. "For God's sake man! Y/N is in labor!" Gaston yells frustrated. "Oh my! Oh my! What do you need me to do?" Lefou eyes glisten in the candle lit room. "I need you to sit with Y/N so I can go and collect the doctor." Gaston replied dryly, slipping his coat over his shoulder.

"I am on it!" Lefou hurried past Gaston, rushing to your side. Gaston hopped onto his horse and rode off into the night, in hopes of making contact with the doctor. He reached the village and leaped off of his horse and ran into the first house with an oil street lamp. He thrust his hand banging it a few times for good measure. "Who goes there?" Gaston stops banging at once and turns around to face the doctor.

"I-It's my wife, my good sir. She's pregnant and has now since gone into labor." Gaston admitted, snatching his hat off of his head and approached him with caution.  "I see, let's go then shall we?" The doctor hopped back onto his horse, and off they were. In a matter of no time, Gaston and the doctor arrived back at your log cabin.

"Ma Cherie, I'm back with the doctor." Gaston announced his presence as he reentered your bedroom. "Oh Gaston you don't know how happy I am to see you." You gave him your best smile, due to your condition. "I am going to ask the both of you to step out now." The doctor instructed Gaston and Lefou. They both nodded their head and exited to their hallways. "I don't know if I can do this, Lefou. I'm not ready to be a father." He sighed, putting himself down.

"Gaston, you need to pull yourself together, but not only for you, but your wife and soon to be child. You are going to be fine." Lefou reassured him with a clap on the shoulder. Lefou was probably right. But Gaston would never want to let Lefou to know that, because he didn't want all of it getting to his head, you know? Then the next you thing you know, is screaming coming from your bedroom, and those screams are coming from you.

"Lefou! You have to let me go in there! Something is obviously wrong!" Gaston was having a hard time getting around him. "You can't go in there, Gaston! It's too risky!" Lefou said trying to remind him. Gaston eventually gave it a rest once your screaming and crying died down. Gaston slumped all the way down to the floor when the doctor cracked the door open, beckoning them to come and see.

For you made a healthy delivery, but not just of one, but of two babies. You had twins, a boy and a girl. When Gaston saw you for the first time, holding your two children, he smiled widely and after he took one step he passes out, his whole entire body landing with a thud on the ground. "Is he alright?" You asked, peering over the bed, trying to get a good look at Gaston. "He'll be fine." The doctor told you, as he evaluated him. When, wakes up not being under no longer than five minutes.

"Did I win?" Is what he first asks, with a dumb smile. "Yes, Gaston. Look." Lefou and the doctor helped him to his feet so he could get a better view. "Oh Y/N!" He realizes everything. They lead him to the bed and get him settled. You hand him the girl, while you held your boy. "We'll give you a moment." The doctor and Lefou said, excusing themselves for a brief moment.

"Can you believe it, Gaston? We had twins!" You gushed to him, staring down at your boy, with thick and dark hair, much like Gaston's. "No, I can't, but you my love gave birth to them. You deserve all of the credit." He said, kissing you on the cheek. "I can't take all of the credit, you did have a hand or two to go with it." You winked flirtatiously. "Oh but of course." Gaston smiled, shaking his head.

"Now what we have to do is figure out their names? What do you have in mind." You said, rocking your baby to sleep in your arms.

"Uh.."
