"So, this is the distillery the, now dead, distribution boss mentioned." I said once Jacob and I found the building where Soothing Syrup is being made. After taking care of the boss, we scaled building to building, looking for the distillery, which we happened to have found not long after.

"You know," Jacob begins to say and I couldn't help but look at him as he spoke. "I don't think your apology for killing that boss was even sincere at all, since you weren't actually sorry." He finished saying and I couldn't help but shrug and giggle very slightly from his words.

"Not my fault he didn't specify exactly what he meant when he asked to go. When he asked to go, he should've explained what exactly he meant."

"Ah, so it's his fault that he ended dead then?"

"Precisely."

"Well then, remind me to be specific whenever I ask you to go somewhere. I fear what may happen if I don't explain myself."

"That would be a good thing to remember, since you never know what I may do."

"Ok, now you're scaring me love."

"Good. What kind of assassin would I be if I don't happen to have people fear me every now and then?"

"I'm just going to try and stay on your good side from now on. I believe that would be the best thing to do." I couldn't help but find this very entertaining, how Jacob seems to actually be afraid of me right now.

"Aw, don't worry sweetheart, I wouldn't actually kill you. You're too adorable to kill." I couldn't help but ruffle his hair as I spoke, only to notice how soft his hair actually is and begin to run my hands through it. 'Wow, his hair is so soft. I could just run my fingers through it all day and never grow tired from it.' Before he could notice just how much I was enjoying running my fingers through his hair, I quickly pulled away and hid my blush from him. "Anyway," I begin to say as I clear my throat. "we should really focus on the mission." With that, I looked around and happened to notice how a man with white hair and a white beard was trying to get into the building, only to find that it's locked up tight. "Hey, look over there." I pointed the man out to Jacob. "Do you know who that man is?" I asked him as I pointed to the man.

"Nope, but I wonder just what is he doing." He replied.

"He seems rather interested in getting into the distillery. Could he be wanting to put a stop to Soothing Syrup as well?"

"Possibly." Nothing else was said as we continued to watch, however, I noticed how quite a few of Blighters were walking towards the building.

"We've got company." I said.

"Wonderful." Jacob said but, I could see how his eyes seemed to shine at the thought of a fight coming up.

"Keep a sharp eye out lads. Someone's targeting our network and the distillery could be next." The brute in the front said to those surrounding him. I looked away from them and noticed how there seem to be several Blighters surrounding the building itself. I activated my eagle vision and looked around, noticing how there seem to be a total of ten Blighters.

"There are ten Blighters in total that are surrounding the distillery." I said as I finished looking around.

"This will complicate things." Jacob said, to which I could only laugh at.

"Maybe if there was only one assassin to deal with them, which there happens to be two. And, if you look just over there," I said as I pointed towards a group of men who were a part of the Rooks, "you will see that there are some of our men over there. I'm sure they would love to help us out Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to rally those men." Without saying another word, I performed a leap of faith from the building and landed in a cart full of hay. Making sure that there were no Blighters near me, I jumped from the hay and stealthily made my way over to the Rooks. "Good day gentleman." I said as I approached them.

"Milady, what can we do for you?" The first man said.

"I am unsure as to whether you've heard of me or not but, I work alongside Evie and Jacob Frye."

"Ah yes." The second one begins to say. "Indeed, we have heard of you from Jacob, Miss (Name)."

"Oh, really now?" I couldn't help but feel rather intrigued, however, I knew I would have to find out some other time. "But alas, as much as I would love to know what he has said about me, I'm afraid that'll just have to wait. What do you lads say to having some fun? As in, getting rid of some Blighters?"

"I'd say that we would love to." The third man says. "What do you need us to do Miss (Name)?'

"There are ten Blighters surrounding this building and Jacob and I need them gone before we can proceed with stopping Soothing Syrup production for good. You boys in?" They all nodded their heads "That's great. Now, if you lads will excuse me, I have someone waiting for me to return to him. We'll be up on that building over there," I said as I pointed to where Jacob was waiting, "just wait for my signal and then attack." With a nod of their heads, I stealthily made my way back up to the building.

"That didn't take long." Jacob said as I approached him.

"At least I didn't get caught. The men down there are just waiting for my signal to attack. Shall we?" I said as I ready my cane sword. Jacob nodded his head and, with that, I signalled the men to attack. "See you soon Jacob." I said as I winked at him and performed another leap of faith from the building and landed in the cart of hay once again. I looked around and noticed how one of the Blighters was nearing the cart. As soon as they were close enough, I flicked my wrist, grabbed them around the throat, embedded my hidden blade in their throat and then dragged them into the cart before jumping out and moving to the side of a building, awaiting my next target.  I spotted a group of three Blighters near me, fighting off the Rooks. I pulled out a smoke bomb and threw it near them, temporarily blinding them as I sprang into action. Grabbing two throwing knives, I threw them at two of the Blighters, embedded them deep into their torso. The third one happened to have spotted me before I could deal with him.

"Well now, looks like I'm just going to have to deal with you." He said.

"Honey, you seem to be forgetting something." I said with a smirk on my face.

"Oh, and what would that be?"

"I'm not alone." Before he could say anything, one of the man from the Rooks took out his gun and shot the Blighter straight in the head.

"Thanks for the help Milady." He said.

"You're welcome." I replied before he ran off. With that, I looked around and noticed how Jacob had taken care of three all on his own. 'That's seven down, only three more to go.' I thought as I tried to find them.

"Look out!" I heard someone shout out to me. I turned around and quickly ducked as one of the Blighters swung her knife at me.

"Alright, let's dance." I said as I swung my weapon towards her shoulder, only to have her parry.

"You're going to have to do better than that sweetheart." She said. Without saying another word to her, I swung my weapon at her again, having her think I was aiming for her shoulder when I was actually going for her torso. She fell for my trap and, as quick as lightning, I plunged my cane sword into her abdomen, making sure to embed it deep within, wanting to make sure that she dies.

"You Blighters need to understand that, no matter what you do, we assassins will be there to stop you." I said as I looked into her eyes.

"There are many of us." She begins to say as her breath comes out short and ragged, blood beginning to flow down her mouth. "We're just doing our jobs. You know we're not the ones you truly need to focus on."

"Starrick will get what is coming to him, he will be stopped and London will be free."

"Good luck Princess. There *coughs* is so much you don't know about Starrick."

"I know enough to know that he needs to be stopped."

"But do you *coughs* know what you need to know?" Her words had me very curious.

"What are you talking about?"

"That's for you *coughs* to find out." Before I could ask anymore, her eyes closed as she took her last breath. I simply turned away from the corpse, a multitude of questions running through my mind, but now was not the time to worry about it. I looked around and noticed how the last of the Blighters were finished off.

"Now then," Jacob begins to say as he walked over to me, "let's go and see who that man is and just what he is doing here." With that, we made our way to the door. Along the way, I caught up with the men who helped us out.

"Thank you for the help lads." I said to them as Jacob kept walking towards the door.

"Anytime Miss (Name)." The first man said.

"A chance to get rid of those pesky Blighters, we wouldn't have missed that for anything." The second man said.

"What you and the Frye twins are doing, we want to help with. London has suffered for far too long, we need people like you to help us." The third man said.

"Trust me gentleman, we will do whatever it takes to free London from Starrick. I refuse to sit around and do nothing while innocent people are suffering." I said.

"You're a good woman Miss (Name), I hope Jacob realises that." I immediately became intrigued once again at what the second man said but, once again, I don't have the time to ask what he means by that.

"Speaking of which, I should catch up with him. Heaven only knows what he is up to without me there. Thanks again though lads." With that, I nodded my head and begin making my way to Jacob.
