Sebastian essorted me to a cell in the basement. I tried to talk to him, to have him open up to me. I need to know why I am here, what they will do to me. He remained silent even when tears penitrated my eyes.
It was cold and moist in the cells. I couldn't find any mold or moss, which is a good thing. There was a table like bed in the corner of the room and a toliet in the corner across from it. I twirled my hair up into a ponytail and thought.
I thought about Peter, about what he was doing right now, how he is reacting. I also thought about what they would do to me. What could they do? What pain would they make me endure? Would it be pain that they inflicked on me? I was clueless.
Light footsteps arosed. As they grew louder, eoching through the halls, a familiar face appeared. Familar, but hated. Felix's blonde hair glimered in the dim light. A sicken curl of his lips materalized.
"Hello Melody," Fellix snorted. "Do you like your new room?"
"Go to hell Felix!"
Felix banged a metal rod up against the iron bars. Anger was written across his face. His head flushed with maddness.
"What did you just say?" Felix screamed.
"Nothing," I whispered inwardly.
"Thats what I thought," he had hints of success in his voice.
"What did you come here for?" I asked. I didn't mean it to sound rude, but I think it came across that way.
"You, Melody. I came here for you." He curved his lips into a sick smile.
"What do you want from me?" I whispered scared of what he was going to say next.
"Everything. I want your everything," Felix un locked the door and strolled closer to me.
"What the hell is that suppose to mean?" I got a random burst of courage. A very stupid burst of courage.
Felix stormed to me and grabbed me by the arm. He lifted me to my feet and moved his scarred face closer.
"Rule number 1, no cursing. Its such an unappealing trait on you."
"You can't be serious!"
"Oh, but Melody, I am. I want my house to be... undercontrol. I can't have my guests misbehave," Felix said noncanlantly.
I remain silent as Felix pushed me out of the cell. I stammered but I stayed on my feet. A light chuckle sounded behind me. I shot him a death glare.
Felix guided me into a gray room with a couple of love seats, a large couch, and a lit fire place. He sat me down on the couch and plopped down right next to me. A think rope was sitting next to him. Felix grabbed it and wrapped it around my hands before I knew what he was doing.
Once realization hit, I squirmed and tried to wiggle my hands out of the burning rope. He held my hands tight, unphased by my actions. When he finished my bounds, Felix looked satifisfied.
"So Melody... Why don't you tell me a little bit about yourself?" Felix commanded.
"And why would you care?"
"Believe it or not, I care about you Melody. I actually admire you," he chuckled in disbelief. Felix obvioiusly didn't want to admit that to me.
"I admire your strength. I want to know how strong you are Mel." I drew back in discust. Only Peter calls me Mel. Felix brought his face closer to mine.
"Thats anyother reason why you are here. Do you remember your second day in Neverland? When you heard that sound bouncing off the walls and you were drawn to it. Luckily I stopped you before you could unlock the door. You see I have a shadow of my own. When the Dark One posessed me, he cut free my shadow. The only thing that differs from my shadow and Peter's is the mine feeds on hope, not souls." Felix explained.
I remained silent as I let the new information sink in. It feeds on hope? What sick creature would feed on hope?
"I want you hope Melody. I want to suck up every drop of hope that you ever had. All your hope in escape, in Peter, in anything will be gone. You won't be like that forever though. You will hold faith in other things, other people," Felix explained freakishly calm. It was uneasy hearing this. Cross that out... I hate hearing this!
"No please Felix. Please," I beg grabbing on to his arm. Hope was all I had left. It is all I have gooing for me. Tears escaped my eyes and emotions flushed into my heart.
"I am truely sorry Melody. Look at the bright side"
"WHAT BRIGHT SIDE?!?!" I screamed.
"You can be with Sebastian. I know how lustful you were with him. Rumple told me."
"I don't want Sebastian though! I want Peter! All I want is Peter!"
"I know. I know, but you will forget about him." Felix cooed. He wrapped his arms around my shaking body. I was too emotionally weak to fight back. I need human contacted, and at this point, I couldn't careless who it was with.
We were interupted by Sebastian's footsteps eoching through the hallway and entering the room. I looked at him with soaken eyes. He was carrying a wooden chest, which I assume is the chest that the shadow is being held in.
"I am so sorry Melody," Sebastian said before darkness snuck through the room and the shadow was released.
POV of Peter. ( a few days later)
I have been looking fo my mermaid princess for days now. Each day I would attempt to venture farther and father into the Dark Forest. It was completely unknown to me, and apparently extremely dangerous. I had to see Melody one more time before I died.
I know, I know, I am immortal. That doesn't mean that I can't be killed. I will stay alive as long as a greater force doesn't destroy my body and soul.
I have thought about suicide. I mean it has been days, DAYS, since I saw Melody. Each day that goes by, my hope gets taken away. When you are truely in love, a day feels like a century. All you do is think about her, hoping, praying that she is safe.
I have never loved anyone or anything more than I love Melody. I don't know how I lived through her death. I guess it was because I knew she was dead, no one would taint her beautiful body. She was safe. Now, it was just so... uncertain. I had no idea what pain she was enduring.
I couldn't help but to think the worst. I hated not knowing.
"Pan!" My father calls to me from the ground level of the cabin. " You have to go to Neverland today! Its been six days!"
I slowly slugged down the stairs and prepared to go to Neverland. I hate going back there. I hated when I had to go back there when Melody was dead. It was just a reminder our my lost love whenever I saw here memorial.
It was going to be worse now. All of the sorrowful moments will grow, all of the delightfilled memories will wilt. I only had to be there for 3 hours, then I could continue on my hunt for Melody. Only three long hours.
Rumple was there waiting for me by the back door.
"Brighten up son! You are going home!" He called.
"I have no home without Melody," I whined.
"Come on. Get over her! She has probably already forgotten about you."
"NO! She my everything! Melody has led my to the light. I will never forget her, and she will never forget me!" I screamed.
"Calm down Pan! You need to get to Neverland before sunrise," Rumple reminded me.
I dropped a magic bean and thought of Never land. In a matter of moments I was back on Neverland soil. The lost boys were already waiting for me with distressed looks on their faces.
"What?" I asked to break the silence.
"Why did you come back?" One of the boys asked me.
"I needed to. Its been six days," I explained still confused about the situation.
"The magic is gone Pan." One boy shouted.
"You can't go back! Rumple and Ursula sucked it all out!" another called.
What? No? I need to go back! I need to find Melody! I need her!
I need my pure princess.
I love her.
