Hoseok watched as his boyfriend held hands with another boy. Hoseok's arms were crossed and his mouth were tightly shut. He hated it. He hated every part of it. The cameras were rolling captivating the two boys smiling and looking loving on each other. Hoseok and Jin had been together for nearly two years but who really cared. As the interviewer asked for the two of them to kiss Hoseok looked away. Though he knew Jin wouldn't kiss Namjoon on the mouth. Most likely Jin would kiss Namjoon on the cheek which he did seconds later. Hoseok got a sour taste in his mouth and decided to go get some air. He knew it was for Jin and all but it hurt so much to see Jin with another. Jin was a famous singer and actor and six months ago when he really started to get famous, his agency had told him he had to "date" a famous rapper for image. It broke Hoseok's heart as Jin said he had to do it but it didn't mean anything because at the end of the day it would be Hoseok, he would come home to. Still six months later Hoseok hated it with all his heart. He didn't say anything as he knew it helped Jin and it was his dream to be an actor and singer.
Hoseok sighed deeply and looked at the parking lot, he was standing on. It was at the back but he could hear fans standing in the front cheering for their favourite couple. Hoseok knew the interview was soon over and went back inside. He watched as they smiling said goodbye as the camera turned off.
"You really are sweet." The interviewer said as they stood up.
"Thank you." Namjoon said and smiled. He put an arm around Jin and Jin leaned into his touch. Hoseok knew Namjoon was single but he once told Hoseok that he didn't like doing it. In fact he hated it but he didn't have the power to stop it either. Hoseok looked away again as they stood there and wondered for a split second if they were a better fit for each other. With that thought his mood was officially ruined. They got their microphones off and gathered their stuff. Jin barely looked at Hoseok as they walked out to the fans. Hoseok had to pretend he was a crew. He walked out and was able to sit in the same car as Jin. First when they were on the rode did Jin look at him. Jin's company knew they were together so he didn't have to hide it. Jin took Hoseok's hand and kissed his cheek.
"Are you ready to cuddle when we come home?" Jin asked sweetly but Hoseok couldn't smile a geniue smile.
"Yeah." Hoseok said and looked away. He hated when Jin called it home because Hoseok didn't live there. They wanted to move in together but the company said it was too risky so Hoseok had an apartment nearby.
He knew Jin would wonder why he reacted like that and he knew he couldn't play it off, not this time. He leaned his head back and looked outside. When they reached Jin's apartment they looked outside to make sure no one saw them together and when it was clear they hurried to the apartment. As they let themselves in and sat on the couch not saying anything Hoseok felt overwhelmed. It didn't help as Jin moved closer and hugged him.
"What's wrong?" Jin asked and kissed Hoseok's neck. Hoseok hated how much he loved his lips on his skin and how much he loved his scent. He hated how much Jin meant to him. He hated himself for not being strong enough for Jin. He hated Jin was so sweet. He hated he couldn't just hate Jin. As those thoughts swam around in his mind, tears started to form in his eyes. He hated he couldn't do this anymore.
"I want to break up." Hoseok whispered. He didn't look at Jin as the words made the tears fall down his cheeks.
"What? Why?" Jin asked and Hoseok could tell he was schocked. He knew how much Jin loved him but it was simply too hard.
"I can't watch you pretend to be with Namjoon anymore. I can't even though I know is fake. It hurts too much." Hoseok said and stood up, he needed to get away from Jin's touch. He looked at Jin who sat stunned and with tears streaming down his face.
"But-I love you-you can't just break up. Don't you love me?" Jin asked completely taken aback.
"I love you more than I think I'll ever love someone else." Hoseok said which was true. "But I get upset everytime a new picture shows up of you two and everytime you do an interview. It feels like a knife in my heart everytime I see you hold hands and you kiss his cheek because I know you'll do the exact same thing with me. It feels like someone is burning me inside everytime someone say you're the cutest couple or you look so in love."
"But is not true. Is fake." Jin said. He stood up and grabbed Hoseok's arms. "I never kiss him, like I kiss you. I've never kissed him on the lips." Jin said and it was like something striked him. He pulled Hoseok into a kiss and Hoseok felt weak as he did. Their lips were as made for each other. They first pulled away when they needed air.
"I'm sorry." Hoseok said and it felt like a goodbye. "I love you and I want to do everything so your dreams comes true and they have but while that was happening I lost a bit of myself and I need to get it back. It feels like a cloud is sucking up the happiness I felt before. I'm sorry but it has to be like this." Hoseok removed Jin's hands from him and started to walk away but Jin followed him and hugged him from the back.
"Please don't leave. You're my everything. I need you." Jin begged but Hoseok shook his head. He knew it was the right thing to do for him, no matter how much it hurt. He turned around and Jin rested his head on Hoseok's shoulder crying.
"I'm happy I got to be a part of your life. Trust me, I'll never forget you and I'm so proud of you." Hoseok said. He removed Jin from his shoulder and cared his cheek.
"But you're my rock." Jin said, his voice mushy.
"You'll find a new rock." Hoseok said and took his shoes and jacket on. "I'm sorry." Hoseok said again before he left. He crying left the building and walked to his apartment where he let himself in. He went straight to his bed and cried until his head felt like it was splitting and he felt like throwing up. He made some light food before going to bed feeling cold and alone. He fell asleep with Jin on his mind.
Hoseok opened his eyes and realised it was morning. The sun was shining through the curtains and Hoseok hated it. He got dressed and made himself breakfast before sitting down on the couch. His mind and body fell heavy as he turned on the tv. He got tears in his eyes as he saw Jin at a live interview on some morning show. His eyes were puffy and no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't get a geniue smile. Hoseok watched as the interview took place. He knew he shouldn't but he wanted to see Jin and this was the only way possible.
"So how are you and Namjoon going?" The interviewer asked with a smile. Someone had probably told her to ignore Jin's fake smile and voice that sounded like he would cry any minute.
"Well-" Jin cut himself off. He looked like he thought hard for a while and then he nodded determination shining from his eyes. "About that. Me and Namjoon aren't really together. My agency put us up to it to make me more famous and for image." Hoseok was shocked and sat with big eyes and a open mouth.
"What are you doing?" Hoseok whispered to himself.
"In fact I had another real boyfriend this whole time. He's been so supportive of me the last two years we've been together but he left me yesterday. It made me realise that it might be my dream to be an actor and singer but it means nothing to me if I don't have him to share it with." Hoseok got tears in his eyes as Jin looked directly in the camera. "Hoseok please come back to me. I love you so much and I can't live without you. So I beg you, please. You know where I am." The interviewer were speachless as they still had a long time before the interview was done. Hoseok sat breathing heavy but with a smile on his face. He quickly stood up and grabbed his jacket and shoes. He quickly took a cab and told the address. He was suppose to be with Jin to the interview so he knew exactly where it was. He quickly payed the cab driver and ran inside the building. They let him in as they knew he was a part of Jin's "crew". Hoseok ran to the studio and it felt like a movie. He stopped when he saw the set. He walked closer and then Jin saw him. He lit up in a smile and stood up. Hoseok ran to him, straight into his arms and hugged him so tightly it hurt.
"You're so stupid but I love you so much for doing it." Hoseok said into his shoulder.
"I told you I need you or I'll do something like that." Jin said into Hoseok's shoulder. "Don't ever leave me again."
"Don't worry I won't." Hoseok said. He could hear people were panicking not knowing what to do. The camera was after all still rolling.
"Good." Jin said. They pulled away from the hug and Jin grabbed Hoseok's cheeks and pulled him into a kiss that made Hoseok's knees weak. When they pulled away the interviewer looked desperat.
"What a show." She said and laughed nervously.
"You want to join me for the rest of the show?" Jin asked but Hoseok shook his head.
"We're already in trouble." Hoseok said.
"Yeah but no matter what they do, I have you by my side and that's my dream." Jin said, making Hoseok feel like the luckist guy on earth.
"Okay." Hoseok said and they sat down.
"Ask us anything." Jin said. The interviewer cleared her throat and looked over at Jin's crew.
"Actsually I think we're done for today." She said. Then she turned to the camera and said a goodbye to viewers. When the camera turned off, Jin's managers came over and scolded him. They said he had to go back to the head of the record label right away. Jin didn't even care if he was going to get fired because he had realised Hoseok was one of the reasons he loved what he did.
In the end Jin didn't get fired he gained more popularity. People loved Hoseok and Jin together plus Namjoon ended up getting more popular too. Hoseok was happy he did it and their relationship was better than it had been for a long time. They had both also realised that they wanted to be together for the rest of their lives.
