"You can't control what the heart wants." Nicki told her.
"But I can control what the heart can have." She replied hanging up.
"But you can't control what my heart wants or what my heart can have." She heard a familiar voice and she wanted to cry. He heard everything, that she'd told Nicki.
"Corey-"
"My name is Shawn Corey Carter. I don't have a low key life. People take pictures where ever I go. Here's the front page of today's new paper. It's me and you and the talks of a lawsuit. I'm a millionaire who couldn't even buy his mothers love. My family only keeps me around for my money. My previous girlfriend cheated on me with my brother. My mother has been lying to me since I was born. I just found out through the media that my father wasn't my father. My family is suing me for ownership of my 'fathers company.' The woman I'm in love with doesn't want to be in love with me. The Woman I'm in love with is planning on leaving me but I just have to say this. I guess this is what comes with the life of Shawn Carter. I've been there for you, when you cried, when you were sick and when you needed me. I love you, I'm in love with you. The least you could do is tell me to my face that you don't want to be with me." He said sadly.
Today had been a rough day and to top it off Beyoncé was planning on leaving. He had hopes that she could make thing change for him but he was wrong.
"Corey I'm sorry but don't make this harder than it has to be." She said and his face dropped even more.
His eyes watered and a tear slipped out. Shawn pursed his lips and nodded his head. He rarely cried but this, it really hurt him. He opened up to her told him things that he'd never told anybody and she still rejected him.
"I was willing to give it all up. I was willing to have a low key life for you. I was just going to hand over the company and let my family do whatever they wanted. Just so I could give you what you wanted. I did a lot and you'll never know because your past relationship has you that scared."
"Corey-"
"It's Shawn to You Beyoncé. We are through."
"Shawn please just understand-"
"I do that's while I'll leave and you can stay." He told her before turning to walk out of her room.
"Shawn!" She whined as she began to cry.
"Shawn!" He continued walking not bothering to answer her. He was going to call his pilot and head home. He had no reason to stay here anymore.
"Shawn!" She yelled following him. He reached his door and closed it right in her face causing her To start crying.

3 Days Later
July 20, 2016
Beyoncé pulled her luggage out of the airport and stood outside waiting in her ride. Derrick was suppose to be picking her up but he sent Nicki instead.
Nicki pulled up and got out of the car giving her a hug. They didn't really have anything to talk about on the way to Beyonce's house because they both knew the conversation could swing either way. Nicki would glance at Beyoncé every now and then making sure she was okay.
Beyoncé looked out of the window the whole drive to her house and once they pulled up. She mumbled a thank you and grabbed her things before going inside.
She wasn't in the mood to speak to anybody but one person but he wasn't talking her. He blocked her calls after the first day and she was hurt. She had no right to be but she was.
It took him leaving her in the Bahamas to actually realize that she couldn't stop loving him if she tried. She wanted to be by his side through it all. The law suited, the family issues and for what's to come.
Shawn Carter
She looked up Shawn Carter and although she didn't like rich people she loved him. She didn't fall in love with Shawn Carter the business man she fell in love with Corey Carter, and he was everything she wanted and needed in a soulmate.
He was caring, kind, humbled, and lovable. He was the true definition of love and she knew she couldn't live without him but now she would have to try. Beyoncé went to the coffee table picked up the remote and flipped on the tv.
If Things couldn't get worse they did. She was plastered all on the screen walking hand in hand with him on the beach. It was pictures of the beach house, The couples boat and out eating.
"Looks like this trip ended before it could start. Shawn Carter and his Mystery woman caught leaving the Bahamas separately. Sources say The multimillionaire left unhappy and his Mystery woman left three days after him. This comes only a month and a half after he called off his wedding to the Supermodel Alexus Nicole. Who has since dropped the charges for humiliation and Money losses. However, that didn't leave him out of the heat. His mother and Brother both have decided that he is emotionally unstable to run Carter Industry and if that isn't enough they claim that Only blood should've had the company anyway. We caught up with Shawn Carter at civil awards but it didn't sound like he had much to say." They switched the tv to a red carpet and she saw him with a woman on his arm. Her eyes watered seeing him kiss her cheek and laugh.
She turned the tv off and slouched down on the couch.
"He moved on?" She whispered.

One week Later
"Bey you gotta get up and out of here." Nicki said.
Beyoncé had been cooped up in her house for a week. She hadn't answered the phone and she sure as hell hadn't even checked the mail box. She ordered food when she felt like eating and she slept most of the day.
"You can always leave!" Beyoncé said coving her head with a pillow.
"You just need to stop. You're in the mess because you put yourself in it."
"Well let me be in this mess alone! Fuck off." Beyoncé spat. She was already angry with herself she didn't need any help. Nicki sighed and pulled the cover off of her.
"What the h- stop fucking playing and get out."
"I'm not playing Bey. You're hurting yourself and you don't know it." Beyoncé broke down because she knew it was true.
"I messed up." She cried and Nicki got on the bed pulling her into her arms hugging her tightly. She let he cry a little before talking.
"You know you took his virginity right. " Nicki Chuckled a little and Beyoncé shook her head no.
"Yeah you did he told us and you know we probably would have laughed but he was seriously hurt. Meek and him made Bet Beyoncé and it was a bet to see if He could sleep with you. When he told me that I was happy you hurt his little feeling. But then he told me how one night turned into two and they kept happening. He told you things he didn't tell meek. He opened up to you and you opened up to him. He said he lied about his name so he could be normal and not worry about somebody wanting him for his money. He betted meek five thousand dollars and you know he did Bey? He paid Meek one million. He said that no matter how bad you hurt him. No amount of money could change him like you did. He said to take the money as a thank you for being able to meet someone like you. He doesn't want anything but you."
"I'm so fucked up Nicki!" She cried.
"When you were with him how did you feel?"
"I felt new, I felt optimistic, I felt protected, I felt loved-"
"Do you feel that now?"
"It doesn't matter. He moved on." Nicki scrunched up her face.
"What are you talking about?"
"I saw him with that girl. Last week on Tv. They were on the red Carpet."
"Who Jaylin?" Beyoncé shrugged her shoulders because she didn't know her name.
"I guess, she was real pretty an-"
"And his little sister." Nicki chuckled looking down at Beyoncé since she was still hugging her.
"I forgot about her." Beyoncé said.
"Well now you remember, so what are you going to do now?"
"I don't know."
"I do, get dressed."
"For what?" Beyoncé frowned.
"You'll see."
