Chapter Fourteen
Elise's POV
Charlie was taking a bath so I took the time to make sandwiches and hot cocoa. I put the sandwiches and mugs hot cocoa on the table and turned on the TV, just to get my mind off of those things
Anyway, a few minutes later, I heard Charlie walked in
“Hey, you made hot cocoa” Charlie said as she stood by the sofa bed
“Yes, I did” I replied, still looking at the TV “You should try it, it’s delicious!”
I then took a mug and carefully handed it to her and this is the moment where I should have prepared myself because when I saw Charlie in her sleeveless shirt and her short shorts, the way her shirt covers her body, her perfectly muscled arms and her toned legs, I felt aroused and the desire to touch her grew stronger
Charlie then took the mug, and as she did, the tip of her finger touch my hand and it sent shivers all throughout my body
“Hey, you okay Elise?” Charlie asked with a worried expression
“Yeah” I answered and shook my head a bit, “just sleepy…”
“You should go to sleep then”
“No, I’ll stay maybe an hour or so and besides the big bang theory is on”
Charlie smiled and sat next to me and we watched the show, all the while I kept glancing at her. I couldn’t help it, it’s like there’s a magnet that pulling my eyes to Charlie
Then Charlie saw me and smiled, “want some marshmallows? It would make the cocoa taste yummier”
“Um..yeah, that’d be great..” I stuttered and looked at the TV
Charlie then stood and went to the kitchen to get marshmallows. And I finally had time to breathe. I don’t know how long I can restrain myself. I really need to find a way to tire myself out so I could fall asleep sooner

Charlie’s POV
I quickly went and sat on the chair. Finally I can breathe. Just being in Elise’s presence makes me want her even more, and I’m slowly losing the ability to restrain myself. I need to find a distraction of some sort, maybe I could bring down my Nintendo wii and we could play tennis, yeah, that’ll work
I quickly stood and took out the pack of marshmallow on the fridge. I was heading back to the living room when I heard soft music. I then saw Elise prancing and dancing elegantly around the room.
I smiled and placed the pack of my marshmallow on the table, “What are you doing?” I asked with a small smile
“Ballet!” Elise answered as she continued to dance around the room “I suddenlyy felt like I want to dance!”
“Yeah, I can see that” I replied with a smirk “I’ll just be sitting here then”
I was about to sit down when Elise held my wrist, “oh no you’re not, you said you wanted to learn right? So you’re going to dance with me”
“Do you want your toes to be bruised or what? ‘cause I have the capacity to do that whilst dancing
Elise giggled “I wouldn’t worry about my toes, I can handle a little pain” and she pulled me to the center of the room
“Ok, don’t say I didn’t warn yah and no, it’s not a little pain, trust me, my dance partner shrieked in pain when we first started to dance”
“Your dance partner? So you have danced before”
“During Physical Education class and that, I was forced to do”
Elise and I stood at the center of the room and waited for another song to play
“So, what do I do?” I asked
“Just follow my lead” Elise said and held my hand
The music started and we started swaying along with it and like she said, I followed her lead
As the song went on, I found myself so into our dance that I didn’t need to think about things, I just reacted to the way she dances. And soon enough we we’re practically dancing ballet together, of course she was actually dancing it, I was just a dance partner, but still, I felt like Elise and I are dancing together
My hands are now on Elise waist and with one twirl, we were face to face, eyes locked with each other as we continued to move
As the song ended, the resistance melted and we kissed passionately. We made our way to the sofa bed and slowly lay there, still with our lips locked and filled with strong desire. We moved in a way that positioned me on top of Elise and my leg in between hers
I abruptly stopped and looked at her, unsure if we should continue
Elise stared at me with her eyes glistening with lust. She gave me a reassuring smile and pulled me in for a kiss. The kiss was gentle but passionate. It grew deeper as my hand started to explore her body. I felt Elise shiver under my touch as my body shivered on hers
As we continued, things started heating up and soon enough, we were slowly removing our clothes
Gentleness was quickly replaced by passion. That night, we both felt alive and our bodies merge into one soul filled with pure love. It was the most special moment in my life

Elise’s POV
The next morning, I opened my eyes and the first thing I saw was Charlie’s angelic face. Our arms wrapped around each other in a warm embrace. As I felt Charlie’s bare body against mine, I felt extremely happy, we did it.
“…What’s with the wide smile?” Charlie asked with half-opened eyes
I stared at her and captured her lips with mine, I’m just filled with so much love for her, I couldn’t contain it
We parted and I smiled, “Good morning”
“It’s a very good morning” Charlie replied and embraced me tighter “I don’t ever want to move, like really”
I giggled at Charlie’s adorableness, “Me too but I think Aunt Gwen will freak out if she sees us like this”
“Well, at least she doesn’t have to worry about me getting pregnant” Charlie smirked
I laughed and pinched Charlie’s nose then I sat up. I was about to get up from the sofa bed but Charlie has a firm grip on my hand
“Stay just for a few minutes” she murmured, still with her eyes half-open
“It’s already 10, Aunt Gwen might come home and it’s a warm day, I want to take a bath” I replied
Charlie groaned and hesitantly let go of my hand
I wore her shirt and made my way to the bathroom but before I left, I took one glance at Charlie
I smirked “I’m going to take a bath now” I said “and you’re very welcome to bathe with me…”
And I finally went to the bathroom, yeah, she’ll be awake in a few seconds, I smiled to myself and closed the bathroom door

Charlie’s POV
I stayed in bed while Elise made her way to the bathroom. I just want to stay longer and take in the events last night. I can still smell Elise’s sweet scent on the covers and on my fingers
“I’m going to take a bath now” I heard Elise say “and you’re very welcome to bathe with me…” then I heard the bathroom door close. I continue to lay on the sofa bed with my eyes closed
Elise is taking a bath, I wished she stayed her with me long- wait a sec. did she just say I can take a bath with her??
And with realization, my eyes shot open and I quickly got out of bed, still naked by the way, and ran to the bathroom
I am so whipped! Hahaha! I smiled to myself as I enter the bathroom
After taking a really long, enjoyable bath with Elise (*wink wink, *nudge nudge). We returned the living room into its old self, ordered fast food and ate lunch in front of the TV with a whole lot of funny and embarrassing stories.
“I think Mrs. Peterson is still mad at me for stealing the flowers from her beloved orchid garden” Elise spoke while we reminisce our naughty moments, “I still can’t believe I did that dare, I think I was like 15 when I did that”
“And then instead of going home, you went up to my room and hid there to avoid being scolded” I continued
“I ended up being scolded on and grounded anyway” Elise chuckled “but didn’t I give you one of those flowers?”
“Yeah” I looked at Elise “I still have it actually”
“No way! Can I see it?”
So Elise and I went to my room. I rummaged inside my cabinet and took out the picture frame with the white orchid flower inside and gave it to Elise
Elise stared at it with amazement, “I can’t believe you still have this” she said “why did you kept it for so long?”
“Because it has sentimental value, it did something to me”
“Oh? What did it do?”
“It made my heart beat for you for the first time”
Elise turned to me and smiled lovingly. She then kissed the frame and gave it to me
I smiled and put the frame back inside my cabinet. We then heard my mom calling us
Elise held my hand, “c’mon, mommy Gwen’s calling us”
“"Mommy Gwen?"” I asked with a smirked
Elise grinned and pulled me to the living room
so this is what it feels like, being in love and being loved in return by someone your heart chose, love isn’t blind after all.
