I knew that I should be more upset about the whole situation, but I wasn't. All I wanted to do is hold him tight. I wanted to regain the warmeth of his heart. So I did. I pulled him close, as close as I could. My shakey body held him tight.
The sudden movement made Peter stumble back, but once he regained his balence he held me close too. A small kiss was planted on my forehead.
"Shh, Melody, you are okay. It was Sebastian that brought you back to be. You are better now. I love you my sweet lost girl," Peter whispered dragging his lips on to my cold ear.
Sebastian.
Where did he go? I vigoriously whipped my head around causing my to fling in Peter's face. He just chuckled, thankfully. I searched the entire lake for a set of dark eyes and silver hair. Where had he gone?
"Peter, where is Sebastian?" I quietly asked him.
"I don't know. I haven't seen him since he told me that he saved you. You have been back for about 3 months now, but you were too weak for visitors. Thats why you probably thought thats how long that we have be seperating," Peter explained. "We don't have to worry about him though. We have each other again."
"Yes we do. I love you Peter."
"And I love you Melody. Forever,"
"And Always," I finished.
"Exactly." Peter held me close again. I couldn't help but smile.
I had him agaim. I had my love back. Peter kissed my nose and pulled me over to one of the century old trees. The trunk was as big as, well I don't know how to compare a trunk to something, but it was big.
He rested up against it with me still in his arms. The sweet smell of sap filled my nose. I always admire the smell. So rustic, genuine.
I realized what just happened. Peter backed into a sap oozing tree. And he was totally obvious to the situation. I couldn't help but let out a few laughs.
A confused face appeared next to mine.
"Why are you laughing?" Peter asked. Worry is filling through his veins.
"Peter," I laugh. "Did you know what you just did?"
"What are you talking about Mel?"
"Sap. Peter. Sap."
"Woah what?" His eyes grew twice in size and relazation struck him.
"You walked straight into sap!" I exclaim inbetween fits of laughter. I broke free of his death grip and took a better look at his face.
Total discust covered his untainted head. He tried to walk away from the sicky tree. The sound of clothing ripping eoched through the afternoon sky.
"Shit! I didn't realize that this was that sticky!" Peter proclaimed as he attempted to peel away from the tree.
It failed. The farther that he got out of the tree's grasp, the more clothing that he rips. Laughter fill the air once more. I couldn't help it. Seeing his like that was indescribable.
I start to run. I wonder if he will chase me or just stay in his place. I heard screams of my name as I went farther into the Enchanted forest. It wasn't to be mean to anything, just playful.
Okay maybe this wasn't the best idea in the world...
I have never been to this side of the forest. My footsteps eoched through the trees as I attempt to retrance my steps. I should have just stayed with Peter. He seemed to know what ne was doing. Night hung over the sky. I couldn't have been here for that long, could I?
A cold breeze whipped through the dense air. Bushes rustled. Twigs snapped. Leaves crumbled as footsteps grew closer.
I knew this was a bad idea.
A sweet tune filled my ears. It was somehow familar, like I have heard it thousands of times, yet foriegn.
"Hello?" I squeked. I knew someone was out there. At least I hope it was someone and not something.
The tune grew louder as the footsteps increased in volume and picked up the pace. My mind starts to panic.
A dark human like figure stood in the shadows. I could barely make out the shape. Night as coming quicker than normal. My heart beat sped and a small line of sweat began to form on my right brow.
Stay calm Melody. You can't let him now that you are scared. If he or it, found out then he already won.
The figure stepped closer. I could see some of his features now. He was obviously a dude with a growing beard. His eyes were still hidden but there was a familar essence to him.
Step by step, I could reconize the face. I couldn't put a name on it. His name was on the tip of my tongue.Why couldn't my brain figure it out? Maybe because you were death for a year. That was something that I had to get used to.
Once the man's body hit the moon light I connected the face to his name.
Henry.
Henry is here!
I rushed over to him. His eyes grew when he took in what was happening. Just in time, he opened his arms for a hug.
"HENRY!"I exclaimed.
"Melody, h-h-how are you here? I saw you. You were dead!" Henry said flabbergasted.
"I don't know. Peter said that Sebastian did something," I explained.
"Sebastian? Like lumiere's son? Melody stay away from him. He is dangerous," Henry coaxed me.
"You said the same thing about Peter," I laughed.
He broke away from the hug and looked at me straight into my eyes.
"I am serious Melody. Sebastian is worse. You can't get close to him."
"But Henry-"
"No buts Melody. Promise me that you will stay away from him. I don't think I could last through another funeral."
Sebastian has never shown me any hate. He seemed sweet. I thought that maybe he could be friends with Henry. I guess not.
I didn't respond to Henry's rude comment. I'll wait to see if he was really as bad as Henry thinks that he is. I mean he despised Peter and I fell inlove with him.
"Do you know where Peter is?" I questioned trying to change the subject. I didn't want to hear anymore about how terrible Sebastian was.
"HE LEFT YOU HERE??" Henry exclaimed with rage.
"No I kinda, sorta ran away. It was suppose to be a joke, but I realized that I didn't know where I was going," I explained myself.
"Melody you can be so stupid sometimes," Henry teases.
"Oh Shut it! Just help me find my way back please," I begged.
"Fine I think I know were his palace is."
"Thanks. I owe you one."
"I will be waiting to cash that in."
I simply rolled my eyes.
Henry started to take be to an unfamilar part of the forest, not that I wasn't in one already. I began to get nervous. Did he reall know where he was going? I hope so.
"You do know where you are going, right?" I questioned Henry.
"Of course I do. Since when did you not trust me?" Henry's voice became tense and rushed the words out of his mouth.
"i trust you Henry, but I am just lost and hungry," I explain.
"Good. You should trust me," There was a darkness in his voice. Something that I haven't heard before. He sternly took my hand. I put every effort into pulling away, but his hand held tight.
"Henry," I whine, "please let go of my hand. You are starting to hurt me."
"Shut up!" He spat.
