Go Gently Love
There never rose new day,
first thoughts, held not the view,
of richness life had fashioned,
in readiness for two.
How came there ever pause
of incremental beat,
when core to crust failed to fill,
with essence so replete.
Which bright orb missing cue,
doused its spotlight dance,
bowing out ‘neath shying winks,
for fear of starlight’s trance.
Where spans bridge, in between
all known of what can be,
connecting points fused in flux
search souls, whispering plea.
Why silence…joy it steals,
from those who’ve lost too much
spend mercy’s words from open place
hearts reach through rime to touch.

When promise, incomplete,
impervious love's thirst,
sings realized upon dreams’ winds,
two breaths will sigh, their first.
What wonders there beheld
at last in Love’s embrace
petals swirling upon new dance
sweet fragrance spun on grace
