The Darkness

Do not be fearful of the darkness;
do not let it diminish your shine.
For the darkness is simply an empty canvas;
a reminder of where light can be.
So light the darkness with your own brilliance;
shine for those who cannot shine themselves;
be the radiance you wish to see
illuminating the night.
Do not let the darkness defeat you;
do not let it diminish your shine.
