Louis: His body tossed and turned under the sheets, trying to find a comfortable position as you sighed silently to yourself. Your eyes fell shut, about to drift into sweet slumber when his body shifted again, causing you to sit up in bed, crying out his name. His guilty, weary features met yours in the dark, as he mumbled something about how he couldn’t sleep. Exhaling softly, your fingers brushed across his cheek, smiling as he leaned into your touch. Soon enough, the two of you were fast asleep, cuddled together as opposed to your previous position.
Harry: His lanky limbs were cramped and uncomfortable in the bunk, wriggling around under too hot covers. Defeated, he pulled himself out of bed, reaching for his phone and traipsing out into the corridor, away from where the other boys slept. Your phone rang, a bit late into the night, and you were surprised to hear Harry’s voice. His voice even deeper and slower than usual, he murmured about how he couldn’t sleep without you there, how he missed you, and you sat up on the phone with him, till you heard his voice get rough, and could practically see his eyes drooping shut.
Niall: After apologizing profusely to a slightly amused and sleepy Niall, you explained that you couldn’t sleep. It was uncomfortable, you were stressed, and flat out could not get to sleep. He wiped his bleary eyes, pressing his lips to your forehead, before taking your hand and leading you to the kitchen. You watched as he prepared two cups of tea, before leading you into the living room, setting up the DVD player for your favorite film, and piling on the blankets. Sweet smiles and warm words were shared, and before you knew it, you were both asleep on the couch, but as comfortable as ever in each other’s arms.
Zayn: He couldn’t tell if he was excited or nervous, but for whatever reason he couldn’t fall asleep. He desperately wanted to because lately it was the only way he’d be able to see you, to be with you. He wanted to sleep the night away, because in less than 12 hours you’d be flying in, you’d be there in his arms after months. It was late, and he wanted to call you, but he couldn’t, because it was even later where you were. So he took the next best thing, shaking Niall awake, who grumbled something about sleeping and how much he hated Zayn. He just chuckled and begged Niall to come for a hotel adventure with him in the wee hours of the morning.
Liam: Everyone has those nights, when you’re sure you’ve come up with insomnia, where you worry about waking up in the morning, if you even get to sleep. Buried under the covers, and Liam’ embrace, your eyes stayed wide open. His breathing was even and slow, his body warm and heavy draped over yours. Later into the night that you desired to be awake, his tired, gruff voice interrupted your thoughts, murmuring that he knew you were awake. You didn’t know what it was, but maybe you needed a little comfort, more warmth, something to lull you to sleep, and he gave you all those things. Pulling you closer, kissing the back of neck, and humming softly to some tune you couldn’t put a title to, until you were both drifting off.
