Raphael had snuck Afina into the hotel to get to his room, it wasn't that hard considering the vampires were mainly elsewhere because it was night time
Once in his room Raphael turned to Afina who still had tear streaks on her cheeks, he held her hand before moving her towards the bed and letting her sleep there for the night
Raphael watched over the dark haired girl with emotions he couldn't explain he was worried about her and thats what confused him because he hasn't cared for someone in a long time.
Raphael decided to go walk around the hotel to do something other then watch Afina

Afina woke up later to see she was in the room without Raphael, she decided that she should go back to the institute before she worried anyone
She tried to sneak out the back but Camille had caught her "oh what a sweet surprise I love angle blood" she smirked as Afina turned around
"That's cool, your not getting my blood" Afina said taking a step back
"Oh of course not, you my angel, are getting my blood" with that Camille snapped her fingers making two of her men hold onto Afina as Camille bit into her wrist shoving it into Afina's mouth
Afina didn't swallow it making Camille plug her nose making her swallow it so she could breath out of her mouth
"You see, usually I'd kill you by now but you mean something to Raphael and I don't want him knowing just yet, don't get me wrong I will kill you just not yet" Camille smiled she motioned her men to the front door before waving sarcastically
Afina stood outside for a minute shaking, she touched her lip where some of the blood was and wiped the rest off before running back to the institute
Afina knew it would wear off seeing as she's mostly mundane but it would take a while.

Afina showed up at the institute covering up the fact that she was just fed vampire blood, she didn't want her family to know what had happened she had full intentions for the blood to wear off so there's no reason they need to know
Afina walked past some computers before she was met with a giant hug, she looked down and smiled seeing her little brother Max "Max! What are you doing here?" She asked hugging him
"I got into trouble, dad took me here" he said
"Dads here?" Afina asked and Max nodded
"I have to go to my room now though, I have to study runes" Max rolled his eyes making Afina chuckle as he ran to his room
Afina stood up to see Alec walking towards her "where have you been?" He asked as she was about to reply he cut her off "doesn't matter lets go"
"Go where?" She asked
"To help Magnus" he said and they walked over to get there bows and arrows before they left to Magnus's place

When the pair got there they were taking there time before they heard yelling and saw a bright light, at that they both ran in to see Magnus trying to heal Luke but he was running out of magic and was weak
Alec ran up to Magnus grabbing onto him to keep him up and Afina stood behind Alec. Magnus reached his hand out to Alec "help me I need your strength" Alec looked at his hand
"Take what you need" he said grabbing onto his hand surprising Magnus but he still smiled gratefully before he continued to help Luke
Afina looked up as she heard running and she saw Simon and Jace, Clary ran into the room and Jace gave her a little pouch
Clary ran over to the table with Jace, Simon and Afina following, she dumped the rest of the ingredients in the bowl before mixing it up a little and then putting some in a cup to give to Luke
All four ran back over to Luke as Clary fed him the little bit of liquid and immediately everything calmed down
Magnus fell against Alec's chest in exhaustion and Afina kneeled down next to them "are you ok Magnus?" She asked
"I'm fine" he smiled at her before he turned his head back to Alec
Afina stood up to leave and she was out the door when Jace came after her "where were you last night?" He asked
"What do you mean you weren't even at the institute" Afina said shrugging
"Izzy told me your disappeared and you are wearing the same thing from yesterday so you were somewhere else. Where?" He asked again
"Why don't you just worry about yourself or should I say Clary, you've been doing that a lot lately" Afina said half under her breath but Jace still heard
"What's the supposed to mean?" He asked getting annoyed
"I mean you and Alec are in a fight because of this girl, I know she wants to find her mom but that's no reason to lose your parabatai Jace" Afina explained
"You don't know what your talking about" Jace said lowly and Afina scoffed
"Right cause I never know what I'm talking about, screw you. Stop acting like you care about me" Afina turned on her heel and started storming away ignoring the yells from Jace
Afina was about to head to the institute when she was once again stopped but this time by Magnus "you should be resting Magnus" she informed him
"So should you, I know those claw marks won't heal in one day" he said
"They basically have they are just faint scratches now" she ran her fingers over her cheek where she remembered the claw marks were
"Is that why he didn't ask about them?" Magnus asked and Afina turned around
"Who?" She asked playing dumb
"Oh please Afina even if you don't remember, I can read you better then anyone in your family. I know about Raphael" Magnus said and Afina stood silent awaiting the disapproving lecture but it never came "he's looking for you by the way"
"How would you know?" She asked
"I want to make sure your safe, I keep tabs on everyone in your life and I also saw him before you guys came, he's been looking all night and I'm betting he'll keep looking until the sun comes up" Magnus said giving her a small knowing smile before he walked back in and Afina started making her way back to the institute

Afina was about half way to the institute when she was stopped by a voice "Afina!" She slowly turned around to see Raphael
"What are you doing here?" She asked him
"Looking for you! When I went back to my room you weren't there and I started to worry and I wanted to look for you by the sun was still out and I searched everywhere for you! Where were you?" He asked pulling her in a hug relief overwhelmed him as he held her in his arms
"Camille found me, she uh she kicked me out" Afina was contemplating wether she should tell him about the blood but decided against it
"I was so worried" he said pulling away but still keeping her close
"I'm sorry" she said and he caressed her cheek before the adrenaline of finding her kicked in and he leaned in quickly kissing her
She was surprised and it took a minute but eventually she kissed him back
Soon they pulled away from each other and Raphael leaned his head against hers "I have to go the sun will be up soon, please be safe" he said looking into her eyes
"I will" he pecked her on he lips one more time before leaving to the hotel leaving Afina a smiling mess
On the way to the hotel Raphael had time to think about the girl and everything about her made him smile and the fact that he just kissed her and she kissed back made him smile even more
They both went home that night think about the other
