Afina woke up violently coughing waking Raphael immediately

Afina swung her legs over the side of the bed still coughing when she stopped she looked at her hand to see blood, closing her hand quickly when Raphael stood in front of her cupping her face in his hands

"Are you ok?" He asked gently looking for a sign that she was about to lie

"Ya" and there it was the lie he didn't think she was going to tell him. He looked at her before sighing and standing up to get ready for the day ahead

Afina stood up loosing her balance and almost falling before Raphael caught her

"Don't lie to me Afina, are you ok?" He asked again

"I-I don't know" she stammered and he pulled her in a tight hug

After Raphael pulled away Afina pulled out her phone calling Izzy

"Hello?"

"Izzy is something wrong?"

"Alec he's in trouble"

"What's goin-"

Afina was cut off by her violent coughs making her shut her eyes tightly

"Afina?! Are you ok?"

"Im fine, what's going on with Alec?"

"He's stuck in a kind of nightmare and only Jace can help him we are trying to find him now"

"I can hel-"

"No you need to rest you can go with Raphael"

With that Izzy didn't wait for her to respond as she hung up the phone

Afina turned to face Raphael and he nodded letting her know they were leaving soon

She got dressed into different clothes rather slowly before they left

Getting to the Chinese restaurant the wolves stay at Afina and Raphael hid so Simon couldn't see them

They could both hear Simon talking but Afina was trying not to cough again

When Simon hung up the phone Raphael zoomed in front of Simon before Simon turned around to come face to face with Raphael

A few seconds later after Afina stopped coughing she zoomed up next to Raphael as the two men started talking

"Going home?" Raphael asked

"Just a detour, my moms called me like thirty times, I just have to tell her that my bands been on tour and I'll be right back looking for Camille, you know if you spent the amount of time looking for Camille the amount of time you tell me to look for her you probably would have found her by now" Simon said as Raphael pushed him up against the fence

"I don't think you understand the gravity of the situation, I got the whole clan searching but she's your sire" Raphael said pointing a finger at Simon

"But there are others right?" Simon asked "Afina was sired to Camille, I can't be the only one qualified"

"No but sadly you are the only one that hasn't joined her side and I'm not going to send her out looking for Camille" Raphael said glaring harshly at Simon

"Afina hasn't joined her side" Simon said

"I know but I'm sending you out not her. You need to find Camille she is gaining power" Raphael said through gritted teeth
