ARIANA’S POV
Jay left to go talk to Liz. I’m really happy that he found someone and I’m really happy that it’s my best friend. He’s really sweet and she deserves someone better than that Will guy. I should have shredded him to pieces the first time I met. He was such a big jerk and he did not deserve Lexis’s heart. I looked at Nathan and saw that he was already staring at me. “We should confirm our relationship on Twitter”, I blurted out. He looked at me stunned. I was afraid that I said the wrong thing and turned away. I felt tears threaten my eyes but I forced them back. He didn’t say anything for a minute and it felt a little awkward. He put his hand under my chin and raised it up and my eyes met green.
He smiled at me, “I was just about to say the same thing”. I smiled and kissed him softly. We both stood up and leaned on a wall. Everyone had already suspected that we were dating and I was afraid that they’d find out over some gossip sight. I want my fans to know things that come from me instead of some other people. I pecked him on the lips and got my phone out. I typed mine up and saw that someone just tweeted.

I deleted the twitter app on my phone and looked up. My brown eyes were met with Nathan’s green and we didn’t even wait a second before our lips crashed together in sync. I wrapped my arms around his neck and deepened the kiss. He put his fingers inside the belt loops of my jeans to pull me closer. I smiled through the kiss and played with his hair. I felt him push me up against the wall without breaking the kiss and put of his hands on each side of my head. I lowered my arms a little and made it down to his waist. I could help but feel his abs and I gasped in the kiss. He laughed at this and kept kissing me. He lowered his arms from the wall and put it on my thighs, signaling me to jump up.
I jumped not breaking the kiss and wrapped my legs around his torso. He held me up by my thighs and pushed me against the wall. I suddenly heard screaming towards the kitchen but was too lazy to tell Nathan to stop. He started to kiss down my lips to my neck and he was sucking and nibbling at the skin there. I couldn’t help but let a small moan escape my lips and closed my eyes. I wrapped my arms tighter around his neck. I was sure I’d have a hickey after this but I didn’t care. I needed his lips back to mine so I raised his lips to mine again and kissed him passionately. Suddenly, the door to the kitchen opens widely and out came a very angry looking Max and Siva. They had the mustaches that Nathan and I drew on them. Max dropped the muffin he was holding and his mouth gaped open when he saw what Nathan and I were doing. I jumped from his arms and laughed at their faces. “You look good with a mustache, Max”, I said, laughing. Nathan laughed behind me and I leaned on a wall. He smirked, “You look good with a hickey, Ari”. My eyes widened and I ran to a mirror. Sure enough there were two small hickeys on my neck and I groaned, “Nathan”, I whined. He just laughed, “You look fine”. I walked back to him and punched him in the arm and leaned on a wall.
Suddenly, Tom came in and eyed the hickey on my neck, “Nathan, I didn’t know you were so wild”. I couldn’t help but laugh and I saw the boys burst out laughing also. Nathan was blushing and he scratched the back of his neck. “Anyways, why do we have MUSTACHES”, Tom asked. “Well, it looks like you forgot to shave”, I answered and Nathan laughed behind me. Siva put a finger to his chin, “I don’t think that’s it”. I groaned, “You know this type of behavior needs to be punished”, Max said. I crossed my arms, “No it doesn’t”. Tom nodded, “But it does. I have the perfect one just in mind”. I groaned and looked at Nathan. He just shrugged. I was suddenly over someone’s shoulder. I screamed and hit Max’s back several times but it was no use. I looked back at Nathan who was just laughing his butt off. I grabbed a pillow over his shoulder and threw it at Nathan which immediately shut him up. “Why don’t you pick up Nathan or something? He helped me”, I yelled. Siva laughed, “Well his punishment has to live with us”. I groaned and I felt a sudden wind hit me. I looked around and saw that we were in their backyard with a giant pool behind me. All the boys started jumping in except for Max. “You wouldn’t dare”, I hissed. “You might want to take off your top, sweetheart”, he said and threw me into the pool.
I was lucky I was wearing waterproof short shorts and bra because my top was soaking wet. It was sticking to my body uncomfortably and I was itching to get it off. I took it off without thinking twice which just left me in my black short shorts and blue bikini. I threw my tank top to the edge of the pool. I saw the boy’s jaws slack and their eyes wide and I knew where they were looking, “Eyes up here boys”, I said, rolling my eyes. They just laughed and swam around except for Nathan who was still looking. I swam over to him and bumped his jaw back up, “Close your mouth dear, you’ll catch flies”. He just laughed and wrapped his arms around me.
After thirty minutes Jay finally came out. We were playing some weird Marco Polo game and Nathan was chasing me. I quickly swam quietly towards the edge and sat down beside Jay. “So, how did it go”, I asked. He beamed, “Really good. I think she’s into me”. I grinned “She sounds like she’s into you. So what happened”, I asked. He said “Well, at first it was a little awkward, but then we started talking about our jobs, friends, life, more about us and stuff. We also decided that we would go get coffee tomorrow”. I grinned. “So when do you plan on telling her you’re from The Wanted and that you’re not some record manager”. He shrugged, “I don’t know. I just want her to like me for me, not because of the fame”. I nodded, “She’s really cool. You’ll lo-“, I was pulled into the water by my ankle and I quickly pushed myself up from the water so I could breathe. I found Nathan grinning at me and he wrapped his arms around me from behind. I giggle as he spun me around. I leaned a little to the side and he leaned down and we kissed. The boys groaned and I pulled away and splashed water on him quickly and swam away.
He laughed and chased after me but I was much faster. When he was really close to me I pushed against a wall so it moved me a long way forward. I was suddenly pulled back by my waist and spun me around. I screamed and tried to swim away but it was no use. His grip on me was like iron. I laughed.
We played for another hour. I was piggy back on Nathan’s back and I was holding his neck. He kept swimming in and out like a dolphin, bringing me with him. I laughed and laughed, but I was starting to get tired. I looked at the clock through the door and saw it was ten o’clock, “I should probably start changing and heading out soon”, I said getting out of the pool. They all pouted, “You’re leaving us”, they asked in a baby voice. I nodded and pretended to wipe a tear. Nathan got out after me, “Yeah, I’ll drive you and I probably have extra clothes for you. I said thank you and we walked back inside with him. He wrapped an arm around my waist and we walked toward his room. I opened the door to his room and walked in. He came in after me and threw me one of his t-shirts. I went to the bathroom and took off the bikini and shorts and slipped the shirt on. It reached mid-thigh and I combed out the tangles in my hair.
I walked out of the bathroom and was immediately engulfed in Nathan’s arms. I wrapped my arms around his waist. After a couple of minutes we left for his car and drove to my house. He parked in my driveway. He rode the elevator with me and walked me to my door. When we were there I turned around and crashed my lips to his. He held me in his arms and opened the doorknob to my apartment. He pushed me inside the door and closed the door. He pushed me against the wall and put his arms on either side of my head. I just kissed him harder. He put his hands on my thighs, signaling me to jump up so I did and put my legs on either side of him with him holding me up. He had to look up to kiss me now instead of down I put my fingertips on him jaws. He went down my lips towards my neck and I couldn’t help but moan. He traced my jaws with his lips and kissed to my neck. I wrapped my arms around his neck, bringing him closer. He continued to kiss my neck and I bit my lip to stifle a moan. “God you are so beautiful”, he whispered on my neck, sending shivers down my back. He kissed my shoulders and I couldn’t take it anymore. I captured his lips in mine and he deepened the kiss. I felt him smile through the kiss. We pulled away with our foreheads touching, breathless. I got lost in his green eyes and I traced his jaw with my fingertips, my fingernails lightly scratching him, “Do you really have to go? You can just stay with me at my place”, he asked, his eyes pleading. I giggled a little, “I wish, but we’re already here”. I jumped out of his arms and he walked towards the door. Before he opened the door, he slipped his fingers in my belt loops and pulled and crashed his lips to mine. I kissed him back and he pulled back and walked out the door. I smiled to myself and I couldn’t stop smiling all the way to my room.
NATHAN’S POV
I drove back to my house and parked in my driveway. I lazily got out of the car and stumbled into the doorway of the house. I shut the door behind me and fell onto the couch. The boys joined me, “Whoa Baby Nath, you seem tired”. “I miss Ari”. Siva rolled his eyes, “You just saw her five minutes ago”. I just shrugged and turned on the telly. Max got a box of beer and we all got one. I took a long swig of beer and let it burn through my veins.
I don’t know how many beers I’ve had, but my vision was blurring and my words were slurring. All of the guys were passed out and I turned off the telly and stumbled to my room. I pushed open the door and shut it. The room smelled freshly of Ari and I smiled. I stumbled to my bed. I jumped on it and once my face hit the pillow, I was out like a light.
I woke up to the sound of clanking downstairs. I suddenly didn’t feel Ariana in my arms and I immediately jumped up. I then realized she didn’t stay with me last night and I groaned into my pillow. My head was pounding and my body was aching. I checked the time. 12 PM I jumped again and realized I hadn’t talked to Ari yet, but then realized she was at that wardrobe thing. I jumped out of bed, remembering that Ari asked if I could take her there. I ran downstairs and saw that all of the boys except for Jay were eating. “I forgot to bring Ari to that wardrobe thing”, I said, reaching for my car keys.
“Oh, don’t worry. Jay took her. He wanted to see his girlfriend”, Siva said. I cocked my head to the side. Wait what? I knew he had a crush and she was Ari’s friend. I crossed my arms and pouted. Good going Sykes. I shook the thought out of my head and sat down with them. I got a piece of bacon and chewed thoughtfully. “So Nath, we saw that sick hickey you gave Ariana yesterday”, Tom said smirking. I rolled my eyes. “She came running in and asked if you could see it. It took us half a bottle of concealer and foundation to cover that sick puppy up”, Siva said laughing. I gave him the bird which just made him laugh harder.
I got from the table and sat down by the telly. There was some gossip news on and there was a video of Ariana trying to walk to her studio. Jay, Frankie, Isaac, and her body guard Nick was with her. She was wearing those shades I gave her and her hair was strait and loose around her shoulders. She was wearing a black tank top and jeans and sneakers. I missed her so much. There was flashing everywhere. “Ariana, you confirmed you were dating The Wanted’s Nathan Sykes. Is that true”, they were all asking. “Ariana, Ariana, how are you dealing with the hate on your relationship”, or “Ariana is it true what your ex Jai is saying”? That last one struck me. What was he talking about?
I logged onto Twitter on my phone and saw that we were getting a lot of support from fans, but also a lot of hate. I saw that I was tagged in some Twit longer thing and when I opened it, I saw it was Jai. I read it all and found myself furious by the end. It’s all full of lies. I saw her heartbroken! I saw her! He’s lying. She didn’t cheat; he did! That son of a bitch was going to die. I clenched my fist and held my phone. The others came in and sat next to me. “What’s wrong, Nath”, Max asked sitting beside me. I handed the phone to him and stared at the wall.
“That bastard”, he mumbled and handed the phone to Siva and Tom. Tom said, Poor Ari, I can’t imagine what hate she is getting. That bastard is going to hell”. I nodded and was stunned at Jai. What kind of guy does that? You shouldn’t lie to bring a girl down just because you broke up. My arms were itching for Ariana but she wasn’t here. I just clenched my fists and forced myself to go on.
A phone was going off and it wasn’t mine. I waited for one of them to pick it up and make it stop. It kept ringing for thirty more seconds and it was really getting on my nerves, “Would someone just pick it up”, I snapped. “That’s not my phone”, they all said.
I looked over to where the noise was coming from and saw Ari’s phone vibrating. I picked it up and saw that there was one missed call from Jai and a text from him. I opened it up and what I saw surprised me.
See bitch, I ruined you. I told you to not even get close to the sloth but you did. You should’ve listened to me and came running back to me, but you didn’t. So now you will pay.
My eyes widened at what he said. I scrolled the text up a little so I could see what he said to Ari the first time. I read their messages. So that’s what she was crying about the day of her concert. I clenched my fist and forced myself not to hit something. That bastard threatened my Ari. I felt Max read over my shoulder and his jaw dropped. I put the phone down on the table before I threw it and I dropped on my face on the couch. Why didn’t she tell me? I just sat there, thinking for the rest of the morning.
