ALEX'S POV
The next morning I woke up to the smell of burning bacon & burnt toast. I quickly jumped up off the couch & ran to the kitchen to see what was going on.
"What in the blue hell happened in here?!?!" I said.
"I tried to make breakfast but failed miserably...sorry." Jayden replied sheepishly rubbing the back of his neck.
"It's ok. Let me help." I said walking over to him & the breakfast disaster.
"First dump the bacon & toast." I said while grabbing a clean pan.
"Now we make breakfast." I added getting out some fresh bacon & bread with a few eggs.
I cracked the eggs in the pan & quickly scrambled them. Then I fried the bacon & put in the bread for toast. I then set 3 places at the table for all of us.
"Ok now just put the eggs in here. Bacon on the table & can you butter the toast & set it on the table?" I asked while setting out a plate for the eggs to go in.
"Yea thats not a problem." Jayden replied.
I walked to my room to get Turner up so he could eat too.
"Turner...Turner...TURNER GET YOUR FAT LAZY A$$ UP!!!!!!" I hitting him with a pillow.
"I'm up I'm up." He said.
"Ok come on breakfast is ready." I said making him jump out of bed & go to the kitchen.
"Guys." I muttered rolling my eyes.
We all ate breakfast then decided what we were gonna do for the day. All of a sudden my phone started ringing.
"You like Bird Machine?" Jayden asked referring to my ringtone.
"Mhm & it's Brayden." I answered the phone.
"Mhm. Yea. What time? Seriously, now. Ugh. Ok. Come on over." I said.
"What'd he say?" Asked Turner.
"He said he's bringing his mate over in a couple of hours, so I need to look decent." I growled at the end.
"Woah now what's the growl for." Jayden asked.
"I wanna be lazy & not put effort into my outfit today." I said.
"Wait it's my house so f#ck it. I can be lazy if I want." I added.
"Yea." They replied.
After we all finished eating I washed the dishes & put them up. Then I made sure the living room was clean & made sure the house looked decent.
{Can we go for a run please?} asked my wolf.
{Yea I kinda needed a run too} I replied.
"Hey I'm gonna go for a run anybody wanna come?" I asked the guys.
"Nah I'm good." Turner said.
"I need a run. I'll go." Jayden said getting up.
"Ok first follow me!!!" I declaired dragging him to my(Turner's also) room.
"Ok look in there for some shorts or something while I get my clothes." I said motioning to the dresser.
"Sir yes Sir." Jayden fake saluted me causing he to give him a death glare making his doubleover in laughter.
"Your so cute when you do that." He said.
"Hurry up & get you clothes." I replied hitting him.
When we got our clothes we walked to the closest woods which we're around 5 minutes away.
"Ok you go over there & shift & I'll go over here & shift." I said pointing to our spots.
"Ok." Jayden replied walking behind a tree.
After I stripped down & shifted I walked out only to see a beautiful chocolate brown wolf with baby blue eyes. I walked over to Jayden & licked his muzzle then ran as fast as I could in the opposite direction. Because Jayden was 2 times as big as me he caught up very quickly. He tackled me to the ground & in the process made me scrape my muzzle on the ground causing it to bleed some. He quickly got off of me & covered his face with his paws as an apology.
After realizing I accepted his apology he got up & gently licked the blood of my muzzle. I ran to get the bag with our clothes & shifted & threw on some clothes. When I got back to where Jayden was i sat down & patted his head.
"Stop whimpering it's making me all sad & it;s fine I know it was an accident." I said.
"So I shifted to tell you awesome news," I said as he cocked his head, "so me & Turner & Brayden aren't blood related or in a pack, but we still have a mind-link. This is because we have all been in wolf for & some way or another we got injured & we're bleeding so we all liked the wounds or each other which after a few minutes caused us to have a mind-link." I finished.
Since he was in wolf form he couldn't reply but after a few minutes I tried the link.
{Hey} I said.
{Awesome we do have a link now} He replied.
{Mhm it's amazing isn't it} I asked.
{Yup} He said.
{Ok I'm gonna shift again be right back} I said walking away.
Once I had shifted into my wolf I trotted back to where Jayden was laying. I decided to sneak up on him & scare him but I failed when I stepped on a fallen branch. This caused him to jump up & spin around to face me.
We were play fighting for awhile until Brayden mind-linked me.
{Where are you?!?!} Brayden yelled making me cringe.
{Calm your tits.} I replied.
{I'm at your house now get over here.} He said.
{Ok I'll be there in like 5 minutes.} I answered.
I told Jayden that Brayden was at the house & was pissed because i wasn't there yet. We quickly got dressed & went back home.
"We're home!!!" I yelled entering the apartment.
"Finally." Brayden muttered.
"Boy don't make me smack you in front of your mate." I threatened.
"You would dare." He said.
"Oh wouldn't I." I replied.
"I swear if yo-" He started before I cut him off.
"Hi I'm Alex, Brayden's older sister. I'm guessing your his mate." I said shaking her hand.
"Yes my name is Christina but most people call me Chris." She replied smiling.
"Nice to meet you Chris. So how old are you?" I asked.
"I'm 16." She replied.
"We'll be right back." I said dragging Brayden down the hall.
When we were finally out of hearing range I confronted Brayden.
"Tell me right now what happened last night with Chris." I demanded.
"Why?" He asked.
"You better not have had sex with her yet. I know she's your mate but she probably isn't ready & y'all aren't out of school yet." I said.
"Why does it matter if we're out of school or not?" He asked again.
"Because I know how hard it is to go to school while being pregnant even though I did homeschooling & it's not easy on a woman being stressed with school while being pregnant, it's bad for the baby." I explained.
"Ok well it's good we haven't had sex yet." He answered.
"Ok good." I said.
"AHHHHH!!!!" I screamed jumping around.
"What?" Brayden asked.
"Now I have a sister even though you & I aren't blood related. Oh by the way Jayden & I have a mind-link & it's the same way as ours so yea." I said taking him back to the living room.
"That's cool." He replied.
"We're back." I said walking into the living room.
"What was with the screaming?" Turner asked.
"Nothing really." I answered casually.
"So tell us about yourself Chris." I said.
"Um...my dad is the Beta of the Midnight Stars pack, so when the Alpha's son takes over I will be Beta but now Brayden will because he's my mate. I'm an only child. My favorite food is spaghetti. Favorite color is blue. I'm a book nerd. I don't have a whole lot of friends. That's it I guess." She replied.
"About the not many friends thing that's fine cause I don't have many either & I'm an only child too." I said.
"I thought you said Brayden was your brother?" She asked.
"Well we're not blood related but we grew up together so I call him my brother." I explained.
"Oh ok I gotcha now." She said.
"Yea you know what we should do." I told her.
"What?" She asked.
"You & I should go shopping & I can tell you some stories about Brayden." I whispered the last part to her so no one would hear.
"Let's do it." She replied giggling.
"Ok let me go change. Be right back." I said running to my room to get dressed.
I quickly put on some colorful tribal print leggings with a white loose button up shirt with my black combat boots. I threw my hair up in a messy bun & grabbed my favorite aviators.
"Ok I'm ready." I whispered to her.
"BRAYDOG IM STEALING YOUR MATE!!!!!!!!" I yelled as we ran out of the house to my car.
"WHAT?!?!?!" He screamed running after us but we were already pulling out of the parking lot.
"So mall?" Chris asked.
"Mall." I agreed.
When we finally got to the mall we talked about random things until we got on the topic of how Chris & Brayden met.
"So how did you & Brayden met exactly. You don't seem like the type of girl to go to clubs much." I asked.
"I was walking home from getting my mom some Starbucks. Brayden said he smelled my scent & said it was the most intoxicatingly amazing thing he had smelled & had to follow it." She replied smiling at the memory.
"He's really a good guy. I know he'll treat you like a mate should." I said.
"Yea so have you found your mate yet?" She asked.
"Nope." I replied sadly.
"Well you'll meet him soon." She said.
"So what pack are you in?" She asked changing the subject.
"I'm not in one. Me & my boys were Running Rouge for the first months of their lives." I answered.
"Who are your 'boys'?" She asked confused.
"Oh yea I never told you about Kayden & Eli." I told her pulling out my phone.
"They're my twin sons." I said handing my phone to her.
"Awww!!!! They're so cute & they look exactly like you." She replied.
"Wait if you haven't met your mate yet then...who's the dad?" She asked.
"I'll tell you on the way home, it's a long story." I answered.
After both of us bought 5 dresses, 5 pairs of pants, 3 pairs of shoes, 2 pairs of sunglasses, a few shirts, & a couple pairs of leggings. We were walking by the cutest store for infants & toddlers when Chris drug me in there.
"We have to buy something for Kayden & Eli." She said looking around.
"We need things for 4-5 year olds." I told her.
"Ok 4 to 5 let's see here..." She mumbled to herself.
"Oooo what about these?" She asked holding up 2 pairs of medium-light wash Levis.
"Yes I love those, now shirts & shoes with maybe a few accessories." I said.
"I've got the shirts." I said showing her the 2 black button up shirts.
"Now onto shoes & accessories." Chris added.
We kept looking until we found the perfect thing which were 2 pairs of black & blue Air Jordan's & 2 pairs of mirrored aviators.
After we picked out everything we paid for it then decided to head home.
"So what about the boys dad?" Chris asked.
"So when I was 13 I had my first boyfriend, Jake, who was 15. It wasn't long after I had turned 14 & he asked me to come over to his house. So I lied & told my mom I was going to my friend Kayla's house. I got to his house & went to his room where he was. Long story short he raped me & I ran away without telling anyone." I told her.
"Where did you run to?" She asked.
"I met Turner at a park when we were little. My family took a vacation here & Turner & I became best friends every since then. I had know where else to go & his parents had died in a car reck not long before I ran to his apartment. He's always been there for me & the boys." I finished.
"Wow how old was he when this happened? His parents I mean." She asked.
"He was almost 16." I answered.
"Wow." Is all she said.
"Mhm." I replied.
The rest of the car ride was silent except for the radio in the background. We finally got home about 5 minutes. When we got back we went inside & asked the guys to get our bags. Thankfully they did without whining.
"So guess what we're doing tonight." Brayden said.
"What?" Chris & I asked.
"As a celebration for finding my mate we decided that we're going out tonight." He replied.
"Good thing we went shopping." Chris said.
"Mhm." I agreed.
Suddenly there was a nock at the door. I answered it only to see Sophia with my babies.
"MY BABIES!!!!!" I screamed hugging them them putting both on my hips to carry them.
"MUMMA!!!!" They replied.
"I missed my babies so much." I said hugging them tight.
"Mumma, who's that?" They whispered not so quietly pointing to Chris.
"That's you aunt Christina or you can call her Chris." I whispered back just as 'quiet'.
"AUNT CHRISSY!!!!!" They yelled running to her & hugging her legs.
"Hey guys don't kill aunt Chrissy with hugs now." Brayden said laughing.
"Thanks for letting them come over." I told Sophia.
"Oh it's no probably so who's Christina's mate?" She asked.
"Brayden." I replied.
"Oh well I would love to stay & get to know her but I left Max & Ryan alone with cake ingredient. They told me they were making me a surprise." She said.
"Oh I know how that is. Well you'll have to come over & get to know Chris sometime." I said.
"Mhm well gotta go now bye." She said hugging me.
"Bye Soph." I said waving as she walk to her car.

Brayden finally met his mate...YAY!!!! Hope this update is long. I'm working on the next chapter now which is mainly gonna be the celebration dinner so it might be kinda short.
