I spent the entire night looking for Ballen.Which is an impossible task judging by how big the campus was.
I guess maybe I could have found her if I looked hard enough,but I was tired and I had an entire day of orientation to prepare for.
A little past eight , Bellan came back to our room and she made it extremely clear that I needed to get another roommate.
That just added more plans to my busy schedule.
But I have to get another roommate, she's way too afraid of Stitch to stay in the same room as me.To add on to her hateful attitude she threatened to tell the college that I had a pet with me.
Stitch is not a pet.
After making up a stupid excuse for why I desperately needed to switch rooms to the head administrator ,she finally gave me another room, and I had the liberty of getting another room mate.
Packing up my things took more time than I anticipated and orientation had started twenty six minutes ago and I had only finished packing.
I left my bags in Ballan's room , with Stitch still in there of course.Then I sprinted to the field for orientation.
The cloudy dry weather of Versons was completely different to what I was used to in Hawaii.The dramatic weather changes made me contradict my clothing choice.So I decided to wear a warm sweater and shorts.
I ran towards the field and there was a huge stage set up and a few seniors had already started making speeches.
I tried my best to sneak into the crowd of freshman that sat on the grass,but my ability to sneak in sucks.
"Wow,wow ,wow" A senior said from on top of the stage. "Looks like we have our first late
newbie !" the black haired guy yelled through the speakers.
Oh shoot !
"Come on guys,bring her up here" he instructed the two other seniors in leatherman jackets.
They didn't hesitate to jump off the stage and come 'assist me ' onto the stage.
Mentally shooting myself,I decided to accept my fate.
I stood on the stage next to him and looked down at the crowed of freshman sitting on the grass.All their eyes fixed on me.This was one of the moments I wished I had Stitch by my side.
"What's your name shrimp"He asked moving the microphone towards my lips.
I moved a stray lock of my hair behind my ear and hesitantly spoke," Lilo."
"Well lulu, new shrimp like you are not allowed to be late,so what's Lili's punishment going to be guys?" He asked the group of senior standing next to us.
The crowed started to laugh and whispered among themselves.One of the female seniors whispered something into his ear.
"Turns out we're running out of time and cannot waste another second talking to Loberta over here" he said. "But that doesn't mean we're not going to tie you up."
The group of boys tackeld me to the ground.In under seven seconds I had rope tied up around my feet and arms.
I hate college already.
Everyone just watched and laughed as the seniors went on with the rest of the program.Not even bothering to help me up.
After fifteen minutes of sitting tied up in the front of the stage, they finally finished their welcome speech and started moving on with the rest of the program.
"You know what shrimp " the tall dark haired senior spoke to me again.This time there was no microphone and he knelt down infront of me making eye contact. "You are going to be my personal assistant for the rest of orientation" he said getting back up and walking away.
"Who's going to help me out of the rope!" I yelled as he walked further off the stage.
"You figure it out!" He yelled "The names Martin by the way Lulu" he said walking off the field.
Just great.
I sat there alone,trying to wiggle myself out of the rope,but the more I struggled the tighter it got.
"Need a hand?" Someone said from behind me.I turned my head and was met with a blonde haired boy, with piecing blue eyes.
"Yes please " I smiled as he knelt down infront of me,talking out a pocketknife.
"You always carry a knife with you ?" I asked him.
He let out a small chuckle and replied, " for moments like these, yes." He cut the ropes loose.Setting me free.
"Thanks -" I said
"It's a pleasure," he said getting up and stretching out his hand for me to get up."I'm Liam, and you are?"
"I'm Lilo, nice to meet you Liam" I smiled.
"Where are you heading to now" he asked as we walked off the stage.
"I have to go back to my room,I have a lot to do "
"Cool,I'll walk you " he said flashing me a smile. "I guess your lucky I found you so soon"
"I guess I am" I replied, I wasn't good at keeping up a conversation,especially with someone as good looking as him."Are you a freshman too?" I asked,trying to get rid of the silence.
"No,this is actually my second year" he said," I'm a law student.What are you studying? "
"Chemical engineering,"
"Wow that sounds cool,and extremely complicated.I guess you're going to try creating weird chemical stuff right."
"You could say that,but I'm more interested in discovering chemical solutions for monsters "
He started chuckling again,as if he didn't believe me.
We walked to the front of the girls dorm room building.
"A bunch of us are going to the grub later,I was wondering if you wanted to come with? " he asked
"Wow," was the only thing I managed to say."I mean I would love to,but I just have a lot do and take care of, you know?"
"We won't take long,we're just going to get a bite to eat." He tried convincing me. "Think of it as dinner with some friends " he smiled,revealing a slight dimple on his left cheek.
"Well I guess I haven't eaten all day,so " I thought about it for a momet."I would love to"
"Great,I'll meet you hear at about seven?"he asked
"Perfect " I replied.
"I'll see you later," he said leaning in for a hug, I quickly moved my arm infront of me to give him a fist bump.
He got the gesture and fist bumped my hand,a hint of red covering his cheeks.

I dragged my suitcase across the halls.Trying to find my new room.again.
302,I read walking past the room.
303! I finally found the room,the last door in the hallway all the way at the end.
It seemed like there was no one inside.But when I stepped into the bedroom,there was a girl with short brown hair and highlighted tips sitting on her study table with headphones in her ears,writing something down in her note book.
I walked up to her and tapped her shoulders,trying my best not to startle her.
She quickly turned around and pulled the headphones out of her ears.
"Hi I'm Lilo,your new
roommate " I said smiling at her.
"Omgoodess" she shrieked standing up from her seat.She instantly wrapped her arms around me into a hug.
"you're the girl they tied
up right ?" She asked letting go of me.
"Yep,its shrimp in the flesh" I said dropping my bags on my undecorated side of the room.
"It's so great to meet you, I mean not just because you're like super talked about but like because you're all friendly and stuff ." She talked so fast,barely taking in any air.
I looked around the room and was amazed by her realistic drawings.Some had a little girl that kind of looked like her standing next to a big furry animal monster thing.
"My names Mary Gibbs ,but you can call me Boo for short." She said giving me her hand to shake.
"Hi Boo,my names Lilo and its great to meet you." I replied shaking her hand.
"Stitch! " someone yelled from my unzipped backpack.
OH NO,NOT AGAIN.
"I'm stitch " the blue little monster jumped out of my bag and straight into Boo's face,making her erupt in a series of screams.
"STITCH! "
