Asra's P.O.V
It has been three months since the wedding. Right now I'm at my in law's house. Asad and I moved to a house two months ago but I came back here a month ago because Dad had a heart attack.
"Bhabhi, Ma wanted to know whether bhai called you or not." Maisarah asked coming into my room or Asad's room.
"Hmmm. No. How is Dad right now?" I asked adjusting my hijab.
"He ate his dinner just now. Let's go for dinner. Asif and Ma are waiting for us." She walked out of the room.
We went downstairs and started to eat. Asif and Ma was sitting in front Maisarah and me.
"Ma, I have some work tonight. So, I'll head out after dinner." I said without looking at her afraid that she'll not let me go.
"It's okay. You can go. Is Asad picking you up." She asked hopefully.
"No. I'll just go by myself and there are my friends too. Don't worry." I tried to comfort her.
It has been a month since we saw Asad. Whenever I call he just doesn't pick up my call. Only sometimes he picks up his mother's call. Ma is worried to sick as to what he's doing and where he is.
"Then, let Asif drop you." She tried again.
"It's okay, Ma. I'll just go by myself. You'll need Asif here. I'll be back before dawn." I said bringing my plate to the kitchen.
"I'm going Ma. Bye Asif and Maisarah. Tell dad too." I rushed out of the house.
In this two months I've become very close to both Asif and Maisarah. Ma and dad too take care of me like I'm their own daughter.
So enough with my story. Let's get back into the work.
"Sid, where are you?" I called him as he said that he'll pick me up.
"I'm near the house?" He said like a question.
"Aarrgghh. Just flicker the headlight." I said irritated with him.
"Ooookay." He said dragging it.
I saw lights flickering behind Asif's car opposite our house. I sprinted into his car.
"What's wrong with you?" I asked as he was not wearing our formal clothe.
"What? I'll just change at the quarters. How is your life?" He said cooly.
"Let's not talk about that. Let's go. It has been two months since you talked this project about your friend. What's the catch?"
"It has double advantage for us. First is we can help my friend's friend and the second one is his targeted by Argus." He said speeding up the car.
"That's good. Who else going now?"
"Me, you, Rayyan, Amy, Gabrielle, Zack and Aman."
"It means that all of us right?"
"Waah. Correct. How did you know?" He said it like I got the world's hardest question right.
"Can't you just shut up and drive properly? Stop with your mocking. It's not funny." I said looking out of the window.
"I can't drive properly." He said irritated at me.
"Why?" I half shouted.
"Because we are at the quarters already." He said with a duh tone.
"Why didn't you tell me earlier?" I got out of the car and walked towards the small group of my dear coworkers and friends.
"They are fighting again." Gabrielle sighed as soon as she saw me.
"It's his fault." I said grumpily. All of my excitement for meeting them after three months is all gone.
"Shahid, what the hell is wrong with you man?" Rayyan asked him doing their "manly" bump.
"Nothing. I just warmed her up. And if you want to ask about my clothe, then I'm going to change now." Sid said and walked into the toilet with his bag.
"Work after a long time." Aman said sitting beside Ethan.
"How did you come here. What did you tell Mami?" Rayyan asked walking towards me.
"I said that I have some work and I'll be back before the dawn." I told him the truth.
"Here. Wear this mask." Sid said handing us one mask each.

"Group in black let's go." Zack said walking towards the van.
All of us got into the van and started the journey. After an hour, we reached the factory that held the meeting.
"I'll go and check on them." Sid said getting out of the van.
He walked towards the factory and talked to a black figure. I couldn't see them properly because of the darkness.
"Put on your masks and take this each." Amy said handing out all of us a gun.
Sid came after a few minutes.
"Let's go. They are waiting for us." Sid said taking his gun.
"Let's finish this soon and go home." Rayyan said stretching.
"Hey. We are not killing them. Just help." I said getting out of the van.
"Come on." Sid walked ahead.
Before we entered, the guards checked us and got all the guns.
"Hey. Give it back." Sid said grabbing one of the guard's collar.
"Give it back. We will take care of it." A man said.
All of us got our guns back and we went to meet their boss.
"Hey buddy." A man in black hugged Sid.
I looked towards their boss and it shocked the hell out of me.
I stumbled backwards seeing him here. Rayyan caught me from behind. He had the same reaction as me.
"Hi. All of us are here." Sid said looking at him.
"I want all of you to protect her." He showed a picture.
Sid took the photo and passed it to all of us. It was a girl's photo who's around my age.
"You'll need to protect her from Argus with extra care as she's pregnant." Hussain who was in black said walking towards us.
"What?" Rayyan asked pulling down his mask.
"Rayyan?" Asad stood up from his chair.
"What do you mean by she's pregnant?" Rayyan was walking towards Asad.
"She's pregnant and I just found her. She has my kid."
"Are you kidding me? Then why did you marry Asra?" Rayyan said clenching his teeth.
"It's not my fault. Her dad provoked me. I'll just divorce her soon." Asad said like it's nothing.
"What? He's Asra's husband?" Sid said looking at me. He's shocked.
"Yeah." Rayyan said coming back to us.
"Enough with it. I'm G. She's A. She's M. He's N. He's Z. Rayyan's R and that is S. Just call us with these alphabets." Gabrielle said trying to calm the scene.
"Where is she right now." I talked for the first time today.
"She is at my house." Asad said taking his seat.
"Then bring her to your family's house. There should be more people around her."
"My parents wouldn't allow it. I can't risk my parents lives." Asad said after thinking for a bit.
"Just say that she's Asra's friend. It is the most safety thing to do right now. We will be on guard as Rayyan will keep a close watch. Just make sure that Argus don't know that we are involved in this. He will take sudden actions." I said then turned to get out of the factory.
I rushed out of the factory quickly because I know if I stayed there any longer, they will reveal my identity to Asad and his gang because of my decision.
All of them came a few minutes later. Gabrielle and Amy rushed towards me.
"Are you okay?" Both of them asked me with regret.
"I'm okay." I smiled and stood properly.
"Are you crazy?" Rayyan asked in anger.
"We'll talk about this later. Let's go from here. I'll tell you want all the things that you want to know." I got into the car as I sensed Hussain and Shehryaar looking at us.
"Yeah, let's go. It's getting late too." Zack said and got into the driver seat.
We went back home in silence. They dropped me home first.
"Bye. I'll tell you the plan later depending on what Asad says." I told them and got into the house.
It was five in the morning already. I rushed into the house and my room as Ma will wake up on six to perform prayer and start daily routine.
I took a shower and a nap for about thirty minutes and performed my prayers.
I went down to help Ma cook breakfast as Asif had work and Maisarah had an early class today.
Okay.. I'll update daily as I'm in my school holiday. If your lucky, you'll get double updates. I've skipped time already and there was one twist. Soon, there will be more twists.
